I tried a variety of face primers to help minimize the look of the pores on my cheeks and nose. I tried benefit porefessional, hd primer by make up forever, and many others I cannot recall. While this primer does not give you the pearl feel to your skin like porefessional, my boyfriend and I agreed that this was the only primer that "sunk" into my pores and visibly reduced their appearance. I like this primer because it helps reduce my pore appearance, smooths my face so that my foundation applies better, and I can apply it alone and feel more comfortable in my skin without foundation. I don't think it makes pores dissapear or works miracles but it definitely helps especially with the addition of foundation.

Quick Take: very greasy
Hmmm... I have an oily skin, not super oily though. This product is actually very greasy for me (though it is in fact lightweight) and never completely absorbed. I tried it 3 times. I am very confused with the positive reviews.
Bottom line - Ask a sample first. I am very glad I did, because I will not be buying the real size product.

Quick Take: satisfactory
Based on that the primer claims to do, I give it a 3/5. It doesn't minimize the appearance of fine lines and pores. However, it does create a smooth canvas for your make-up to lay on, a soft-matte finish, and helps your foundation to last all day.

I have a super oily t-zone, so I've been on the hunt for a good primer. This is the best one I've come across yet (I've used Sephora's photo-finishing primer, BareMinerals's prime time primer, Korres's mattifying pomegranate primer...all were eh). It smells really good and you can see a visible difference in the minimizing of your pores right after you apply it. I make sure to apply a more generous amount on my t-zone, but I do apply it all over so that my foundation has an equal base to be applied on. I only gave it four stars instead of five because I've had it for about two weeks and I can already tell it's about halfway gone. :(

I like wearing this under my foundation or on it's own. Either way this feels great on your skin. I for one have large pores and this definitely helps minimize them and gives my skin a smooth finish.

It feels like sunscreen with a lot of zinc in it. It whitens out the skin, and is not particularly moisturizing. Not for me, but maybe it's good for oily skin.

I use this everyday under my eyeshadow! It is not oily and a little goes a long way! It helps the eyeshadow last all day and pop! It is a must have for your makeup collection! I recommend this product to everyone!

While this is targeted for oilier skin, i had my doubts as i ordered this offline, as nothing has EVER been able to control my severely oily skin. When i first got this, i didn't get much usage for some reason that i cant remember. i apply a pea sized amount and spread it evenly across my face. 8 hours later, when i look in my car mirror right after i get out of school, my face is starting to look a little dewy, but not greasy. this definitely helps with my oily skin. Thank you Urban Decay!

This primer does fill in pores but I'm oily again after 5 or 6 hours! I also notice my foundation doesn't really stay on with this, it starts to wear off after a few hours as well. Love Urban Decay and I'm sad to say this product was a disappointment :(

This stuff is magical. I initially tried a sample of this and was a little weirded out because of the texture. I had never used a face primer before this. Once I was over that shock, applying this before any face makeup was and has become a must. I have very oily skin with large pores around my t-zone and chin. Liquid foundation LOVES pooling in those areas. Once this came into my life, I can apply any liquid to my face and you can't tell I have huge pores. This stuff, once applied and allowed to dry, makes them non-existent. I am in love. It also keeps my oil at bay which is amazing. At it's price, I feel like this is completely worth it. And it lasts forever! I am almost out of the sample finally and can start using the full size!

This is my first time using this product. I am wearing with Urban Decay's Naked foundation and translucent powder from Makeup Forever. The feel of the primer itself is very smooth AND NOT GREASY! It feels really nice on my face and the makeup glided on like butter. I can already tell that it is a product worth checking out and investing into. I would definitely recommend. Use sparingly! A little goes a long way. Moreover, I only gave 4/5 stars because this is my first time using the product.
