Not Great- 11.22.09
I tried this product out for a week before I finally returned it and went back to the regular mineral veil. This one made my face feel greasy and at the end of the day I could not wait to wash my face!

This is really good for winter, since my skin gets exceptionally dry. It keeps my skin hydrated all day, with only one application. Definately a must-have for the winter season! :)

I like this product, but it isn't milled as finely as the original mineral veil is. It feels good on the skin. I would buy it again. It is also a little lighter in color than the original veil is.

I used the original mineral veil, but always felt like it was noticeable. This product looks very natural. And from someone who has combination/oily skin, it works well to keep my oilier areas under control without over-drying my already drier patches. Plus, I love that I can really just put this on over any concealer which I dab onto any blemishes. No foundation needed. It helps to even out my skin tone pretty well. Makes my morning ritual easier and my skin lighter and happier =) Just wished it lasted a bit longer, but an oil blotting sheet does wonders!

It definitely has a nice silky feel, but don't prefer it over the original Mineral Veil. I haven't found it very oil-absorbing at all.

I have used the basic Mineral veil for over a year and love it. Tried this because I thought it would help with the cold winter weather setting in - my skin always gets so dry. It seems to be heavier and leaves more of a look of powder being on than the regular MV. Overall - it is good.

I love the original Mineral Veil, but I thought I would try the Hydrating version since my skin is a little dry. While the original Mineral Veil made my pores disappear, the Hydrating Mineral Veil accentuated them and was too pink on my skin.

A friend of mine had introduced this to me. I had been using the La Mer loose powder, but this one is a really close competitor. It's very finely milled and what I like the most about it is that unlike some powders cake up or settle this one stays invisible yet sets my foundation. What I really like about this is that although it is hydrating, it is also good at preventing oil.
