Quick Take: water resistant, fast-drying

I bought them because I'm thinking about getting a tatoo and thought this would be a good way to test it out. They take a little practice to get them on without the ink running but once I figured it out people thought it was a real tatoo. I use the alcohol pad and push hard on the paper, make sure not to rub it or the ink can run.

I received it as a sample and decided to try it out. Yes, the pads it came with were dried out but I have alcohol pads lying around and gave those a shot and they worked just the same as the pads. I also put some baby powder over it to set it and so far it hasn't washed off. Everyone thought it was real. I would buy them if they had more of a variety of designs, because I only like the star design...

these are really easy to put on but be careful not to hold the rubbing alcohol on them for too long, it will smudge the picture underneath. they do last quite awhile-i just wish you could mix and match the tattoo sheets with the other kits. also, be careful about putting lotion over them

Okay, here is a few tips -- cut the tattoos to separate them prior to applying. Otherwise, you will have portions of other tats stuck. Also, don't go over the top of the sheet with the alcohol pad -- just wet the spot, stick the application to the still wet area, and pat gently until it is stuck, the rub GENTLY to make sure it is stuck on. I aced it the first try, and it has stayed on for 4 days now (even after showers). They look almost as real as my actual tats! Love 'em!

Mediocre at best.. - 12.11.09

I got a sheet of the star tattoos as a free sample. I applied them to my foot and was disappointed that the ink was runny once I put the application pad on top (which is just alcohol). I would recommend cutting all of the designs into smaller pieces, maybe it would be easier to apply that way. However I will not spend the $$ on the kit to find out!

One pro is that since it's just a transfer of the ink from the sheet to your skin, you don't get that shiny or peeling affect which happens with the usual temporary tattoos!

i had always wanted a tattoo.. just not a permanent one :) most tattoo kits are too juvenile but this one is great for us older girls. not glittery or childish, this are a more sophisticated version of tattoos. i purchased the girly chic set because i liked the butterflies and stars. the star tattoos remind me of the tattoos that rihanna has (i think they are on her kneck). the hearts were a little juvenile to me.. i would have rather had plain hearts and done away with the angel/devil symbols.

the first time i applied the tattoo i smeared it and had to throw it away. it takes a little bit of practice to get it just right. but if you follow the directions on the enclosed card, you should be fine.

i have been able to fool a few people into thinking they are real :)

I love them and have gotten TONS of compliments on my tats. They look real and are cute designs. Only issue is mine do NOT last 2 - 5 days despite how well I care for them. Most I can get is a day and a half. Then again, I mainly put them on the inside of my wrists! That might be the problem....

I purchase a kit for my daughter,before Sephora had a demo the following Saturday. The Sephora guy couldn't even get the tatoo to transfer without smearing the image. After numerous attempts he finally applied one tattoo, Mind you most of the employees are sporting the tattoos. I went home to try after watching and learning and came to the conclusion; it’s a waste of money and time. Thought it would be fun but ended up feeling silly. Still Curious who in Sephora that day figured it out??
