I have coarse, thick, colored hair and deal with frizziness. This shampoo does not overclean, and does not strip my hair! I have noticed a significant reduction in hair loss with daily use, and I get volume, long lasting clean, and reduction in frizziness. I'm not a fan of the scent but since it's long lasting and has made such a difference, I'll be a regular customer!

Quick Take: amazing
I absolutely love this entire line!!! I have Super Coarse Thick Hair that is always so hard to manage! This product is one of the best shampoo's I've ever used! It cleans without stripping, & seals the cuticle. I use the Conditioner after along with the Leave-In!

I was really excited about my purchase because I had read such great things about the product, however I wasn't happy with the results. My hair felt really great after shampooing, and I thought my curls would finally take the shape I always hoped for, then my hair dried. No moristurizing effects at all.

I have dry unruly curly hair and I absolutely love this...puts moisture in and great for everyday use. First product I have found that does what I really need it to do. Excellent and only takes a little of each to do the trick no need to overdo amount onto hair.

I like the lather on this shampoo and how it tames the frizz. I use it with the climate control conditioner and climate control gel. I always get lots of compliments on my hair.

I have very curly thick hair, and have found very few shampoo and conditioner products that work well with it - this DOES it, my hair curls but curls nicely instead of frizzy. It's healthier and stronger - after a year of using it, I love my hair again.

I have very wavy hair. Some say its curly. I've used many many products to help my hair look its best. I'm a hair product junkie. But the ouidad products are my favorite. Even my husband noticed a difference. After using it one time he said, "man your hair looks so good. The texture looks the same all over and it looks really curly." That was enough for me. I'm throwing out all my other stuff. It's ouidad only for me now.

I bought this shampoo because I recently started using the Expert Curl kit, and it has done wonders for my hair. I figured that using Ouidad shampoo/conditioner could only make my hair look even better. It didn't exactly do that. Where the Curl kit gives my curls definition and hold, this (or maybe it was the conditioner, or the two of them in tandem) made my curls frizzy and diffuse. I ended up with horrible '80s hair. I'm glad this works for so many people, but my hair definitely hates it. I've gone back to my old shampoo/conditioner.

This product is not as advertised at all. A quick glance at the ingredients shows that it is loaded with the same chemicals as most drug-store shampoos and without the aid of the whole host of other styling products from Ouidad, it is definitely not a moisturizing shampoo. (Though you need the harsh shampoo to get the other products out of your hair!) I found that it stripped and dried my hair and it destroyed hair color within two weeks of a salon treatment.

I love, love Ouidad's products. My hair has never been normal period! Very thick, naturally curly where it wants to be. I read the reviews on these products and though I will give it a try I don't think I will go back to using anything else ever! For the first time in my life it doesn't take a palm full of shampoo to lather my hair. This stuff is the best I have ever tried. I will order again!
