Believe the before and after pictures! Any one of them could be me. I'm post-menopausal, color my hair, have a chronic disease whose medications weaken my hair and makes it look awful. I used the Curl Quencher shampoo and Curl Quencher conditioner first; as soon as I combed my hair after my shower, my hair was in pretty ringlets again. I applied the Control Heat and Humidity Gel, applied the clips to my roots to give my hair more lift, and my hair looks better than it has in months. No stickiness, no weird odors- just a VERY faint citrus scent while applying the products. I much prefer this to Living Proofs products for curls.

I live in a dry climate, and have super fine curly hair. If it gets too dried out it frizzes, splits, breaks. But most moisturizing shampoos I've tried are either useless mostly water formulas, or are so thick and goopy that they leave my hair weighed down. This stuff is one of the few that works.

This shampoo was very moisturizing. I have dry hair and did not have to use a conditioner. I use a curling irona nd the waves came out very soft.

I have been pleasantly surprised with Ouidad's Curl Quencher. I have a natural wave in my long layered hair that I normally straighten. Sometimes I try curling products, but most of them do not make my hair feel good. The rich shampoo lathers very well, and a little goes a long way. When I let my hair air dry, my waves seem more defined. If I dry it with a diffuser, it looks even curlier, and the look lasts even in the very dry climate in which I live.

I had never heard of this product, but read the reviews and decided to take a chance. I was very happy with my purchase. This did a good job cleaning my hair, it did not leave my hair frizzy and hard to comb. My hair is naturally curly so I'm not sure if it added any more curl, but it certainly didn't hurt.

I have naturally very curly red hair and have struggled for years to find hair care products that helped me manage it. I was skeptical before I bought it looking at the product online for a few months wondering if it would be a waste of money. I like to use a minimum of hair care products as I don't like the "crunchy, frozen" feel that can be a result of too many products. This shampoo, along with the leave-on conditioner, has helped my hair tremendously. My curls have a natural soft bounce and I'm not constantly fighting with it. I can't say there are no stray frizzy strands, but then I expect there to be a few. It looks soft, bouncy and natural.

very disappointed with this product.

this product did nothing for my dry, curly hair. nor did it help with my tangles whatsoever. i honestly double checked the bottle to make sure i hadn't accidentally bought shampoo. this product left my hair feeling anything but hydrated even though i left it on several minutes longer than the recommended 3 and applied copious amounts of it.

I used to use Ouidad Clear and Gentle shampoo since it came out. A few years back I decided to try the Curl Quencher Moisturizing shampoo and I can't believe what a wonderful product. I now follow up with a pea size amount of Moisture Lock and my hair is soft, smooth and shiny. So glad I decided to switch shampoos....
