Quick Take: easy to use, non-sticky
I love this product. I have really frizzy loose curls and nothing ever seems to work on them, I either have a ton of frizz or they are too crunchy. I bought this stuff on sale and thought what the heck, and I fell in love. I didnt like the smell at first, but once it dries it smells entirely different and way better than when it's wet. I actually really like the smell when it dries. I also didnt use the method they suggest. I just scrunched a bunch of it throughout my hair and would scrunch it every now and then while it air dries and my curls are defined and frizz free. So happy.

too much volume

Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight, non-sticky, no hold
I have wavy loose curls and short hair fine. This product makes my hair too puffy and by mid day curls are gone only left with puffy mess. I have been using the climate control gel for a while which works much better and give great curl hold without puffiness, I will switch back.

An okay product but not for me...

I have fine Type-III curly hair. This product did not work for me. I normally use Bumble & Bumble's Curl Conscience for All Curl Types but wanted to try something new. B&B's is more of a "holding form mouse" while this product is not. I did not care for the smell either.

Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight, non-sticky
I can't believe they took away the conditioner. It's thick, but melts away and honestly helps my hair out a lot. I have naturally REALLY fine and thin hair, but this makes my roots look a lot fuller than they do naturally. PlayCurl works, and I'm really disappointed that they're slowly taking it away. :(

To be honest I have only used it once, but I don't think this is for me. I like to be able to comb my hair after putting on product, but this is clearly meant to be used as the final step (other than scrunching if you do that). Probably a great product for those girls that don't brush their hair after the shower.

I have thick, wavy hair. This product made my waves straighter and weighed my hair down. It did not give my hair any volume;it actually made it limper. I wanted to like this product, but I'm returning it.

Quick Take: lightweight, easy to use
This is another success from the best curly hair care line out there (and I've tried them all!). I have very curly and fine hair and this is fantastic! Use it in conjunction with the climate control gel in sections for optimal results. For those of you giving this product low stars, I'm almost positive you're applying this incorrectly. Remember that the the Ouidad styling products must be applied to very wet hair and in sections with the shake and rake method. It takes more time to do this but it works! Put in the extra time and you'll get compliments galore!

Hmmmm....is it me, or PlayCurl?

I have lots of fine wavy hair, and don't spend much time fussing over it. I was looking for a apply/shake/go kind of product. I probably don't allow enough time to let the product just "be" on my head so the curl will set, but like the waves aren't a defined as I would like and it all looks kind messy - I find myself trying to neaten it up with a comb or brush and that doesn't help. That said, it might very well be me - with no patience and no skills. No sure.

This product is the best, it helped me get my curls back from dying it to much and straightening, its a foam with no crunch and will make your hair nice and curly with out it being hard.

Great product for fine shoulder length wavy hair

I have fine, shoulder length wavy hair and I really like this product. It adds curl definition without weighing my hair down, and when applied to the roots it does give a lift. . You can't just put it in a go though... It definitely requires some head flipping, shaking, and scrunching to achieve the proper curl pattern and volume but then I'm used to doing that with most curly hair products.
Because the product is light, I can actually imagine it not working so well if my hair were thicker and/or long. It might not provide enough hold or volume in that instance but for my shorter, finer hair I really like it.
It does seem just a bit drying, so I may purchase Ouidad's curl refresher spray to finish the style with to stop fly aways etc.

I bought this at the suggestion of a sales clerk in Sephora, looking to replace my bumble & bumble curl foam. It doesn't.!This is a really just a mousse. It's supposed to be for fine curly hair, I have thicker curly hair and it made it limp and did not help with frizz at all. I can't imagine someone with thin hair getting body out of it if I didn't. Bringing it back...

I've been looking for a lightweight pump mousse for my fine, wavy hair ever since the generic "Curls Up" product left the shelves. This product is awesome -- it gives my hair a lot of volume, defines my curls, and doesn't leave my hair with the crunchy, frozen look of most spray gels or mousses. My hair is still lush and voluminous at day's end, too!

The last time I wore my hair long I swore by Ouidad!n Now that I'm letting my hair grow some again, and it doesn't take much for it to start to curl, I'm back to Ouidad. It works fabulously!
