Quick Take: doesn't weigh hair down, smells great, everyday use, nourishing, hydrating
I have a loose curl with medium to fine texture and this leave in conditioner gives me the perfect definition while nourishing my hair at the same time. After I hop out of the shower I use a wide-toothed comb to untangle my hair and then I run a generous amount through my hair root to tip. After this product I use a bit of mousse to keep the curls defined throughout the day. I can actually feel my hair absorbing the product as I'm putting it on. Love the way it smells too, like soapy, clean hair.

The descriptions say this is for curly hair but I have very light waves. This really helps with frizz that's what's important and it really does lock in moisture and my hair feels smooth! I let it air dry after rubbing it in. But too much makes yr hair feel super sticky. Don't overdo it

Helps Tame Frizz

I initially received this leave-in conditioner as a sample from Sephora. After using it for the first time I ordered myself a bottle because it helps tame my thick, wavy, frizzy hair that can be hard to manage. Before discovering this product I always straightend my hair because it tends to look unkempt if I wear it naturally. Now that I have the Quidad leave-in conditioner I am able to wear my hair naturally because this product gets rid of frizz, reduces the poofiness of my hair, and makes it smooth.
I apply this to my hair from the cheekbones to the ends after the shower when my hair is still damp, but no longer soaking wet. I don’t like putting it at the top of my hair since it can make it look a little greasy so after I am done applying it from the cheekbones down I lightly pat the residue on my hands on to the top of my hair. I find that I just need to use a little bit to get the desired effects.
Most of the time I still straighten my hair since my waves are random and not evenly distributed; my hair is mostly wavy in the front where the layers are and mostly straight in the back. However this leave-in conditioner offers a nice solution on days when I just don’t have time to straighten my hair. I’ll likely buy this product again.

not just for curly hair

I have thin wavy hair and for the life of me I couldn't get the frizz out no matter what I used, until I tried Ouidad. I never spend money on expensive salon hair care products. I usually go with the cheapest thing I can find at CVS, like Suave. This is worth every penny!

good leave-in for curly hair

I have very curly hair that tends to be dry. A leave-in conditioner is a must for me but I don't want it to drag my curls down. This does a great job of moisturizing without being too heavy. I had been using Paul Mitchell's leave-in conditioner for years but wanted to switch to something with fewer chemicals. This is performs just as well if not better - my hair seems to be shinier with this product. I only give it 4 stars though because of 1) the cost (I'm still on the look for a more affordable, less toxic alternative) and 2) the smell which I don't care for. It smells like Shalimar perfume -- which is great if you like Shalimar but I don't. The scent does dissipate after about a half hour, though.

Not just for curly hair

I know this stuff is designed for curly hair. Mine is as stick straight and baby fine as it gets. The amazing thing is that this stuff does NOT weigh it down! I use a TINY amount each time, a dollop the size of my index fingernail, rub it onto my hands, then apply to the ends first, before working remainder into the roots and rest. Got a sample packet to try, then bought a full size bottle. It's clean smelling, leaves hair very soft and silky, shiny and no flyaways.

Perfect for permed hair!

I have a perm and swim a lot. These two things dont go together well and definatly dont bode well for my hair. But this conditioner keeps my hair healthy and pretty. I put some in wet hair before I go in the pool. The smell is okay, but a little unsettling if you use too much.

works great without being greasy

I got a sample of this and just bought a small bottle. My hair is pretty fine (meaning I get lots of flyaways) plus it's color-treated. But my scalp is really oily, so I've had a hard time finding a product that won't make my hair look too greasy the next day (since I prefer to wash my hair every other day because of the color). This stuff is great! I use a regular rinse-out conditioner in the shower, then put this on my ends (basically my pony tail) after towel-drying my hair. I can still skip a shampoo the next day but it tames the frizz and flyaways. Don't know yet how conditioning it is but I'm happy regardless.

I got this as a sample and was skeptical before using it, but once I tried it I was hooked. I don't style my hair much, so I don't have very damaged hair. But recently I have been using more products and my hair has become dry. I have even used coconut oil in my hair, but it was nothing compared to this. I used a lot more than necessary the first time I used it and I was happy to see that it didn’t make my hair look greasy. I love this stuff and I will buy it again!!

I don't have curly hair but do have coarse colored hair. I used a sample and then purchased the full size. I prefer to rinse it out but you can do both depending on preferences. It does smooth my hair and helps protect it from more damage. It's light and non-greasy. It is a good size bottle and should last a long time. I would recommend for anyone with dry and/or damaged hair.

I have a mix of wavy/loose curl/curly hair and the frizz doesn't cooperate. I got the sample of this and it left my hair soft and touchable with a tiny bit of the good frizz. I had that bed head "naughty ;]" hair look. Just too pricey for my liking even though a little went a long way.

This product worked, but the scent was so overpowering that I kept smelling it all day. I didn't like the scent which made it worse. I don't think a hair care product should interfere with the perfume your wearing.

I got this as a sample from Sephora and I was in love from first try! I just got a full size bottle, and it's just as fabulous as the first use.
I have fine hair, and most leave-in conditioners either weigh my hair down or make it look greasy, or both. This does neither! It makes my hair feel like a dream without having any kind of greazy appearance, and my hair still has volume at the end of a full day!
Definitely recommend!

My curls are between a 3B and 3C types (I'm transitioning), and I'm mixed race so my hair texture is mixed.
Ouidad has been a life saver for me! I've been to their salon in Santa Monica, and these people know what they're doing with curls! Even when I don't have time to style my hair, this reduces frizz and makes my hair soft and defined. Pair it with any of their gels and follow the "rake and shake" technique (it's on their website) and you'll never have curly hair problems again!
