Quick Take: non-sticky, easy to use
I've used this product every day for years and can not live without it. I spray it through my hair as is drying. I first apply Ouidad gel then diffuse about 3-5 minutes, next I use this spray and comtinue to dry. I don't use this as a finishing spray, but would have no prrob;em doing that. I don't need to reapply through out the day, just add some water and fluff up my curls. Without it my hair is still curly but gets flatter. This helps it hold up.

Quick Take: a new favorite on my shelf
I have used this occasionally on day one of style because I need a little extra hold. Not crunchy or stiff though. Have used on days 2 and 3 as well but only for light hold

Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight, non-sticky, drying
I love the smell & shine that this spray gives to my hair right after I put it on. That said, over time using this spray on a regular basis has dried my hair out terribly. I thought I was imagining it or that it was the weather but when I looked at the bottle & saw it contained alcohol I knew I had the culprit. I stopped using it and my hair is not as dry. I trusted Ouidad & it was a terrible let down.

Quick Take: lightweight
I had been using this hairspray for a few months and didn't really notice much of a difference. At my last Ouidad cut I asked my stylist and she gave me a trick that changed my opinion! After I rake and shake the gel, I spray this on my wet hair before drying it. When it's dry, I use the pomade and spray a few more tiny sprays of this on my hair. It made all the difference - my hair has zero frizz and stays soft with perfect curls all day. If you are on the fence about this product, try this method - I promise you won't be disappointed!

Quick Take: lightweight
I have relaxed thick hair and when you do spray it on more than once it doesn't hold and set the curls as much as I thought it would. I still use it since I did pay the money for it. I find it works best if you spray the curl after curling pin it up for a longer last effect than if you just curl with the curling iron and spray.

Quick Take: sticky, light, firm hold
So I read all the reviews on this and was really on the fence about how it would work in my hair... I decided to try it and well, I still feel like I'm on the fence. I am not a hairspray person - I have loose waves and tight curls in the back and needed something to just kind of help clean and tighten up my curls rather than have something really hold them in place. This stuff is really better for holding things in place. It will become crunchy without really using too much but if I give my head 3-4 sprays (and I have a ton of hair) it usually does what I want: tame the fly aways. I think I'm still just getting used to how to use it, so I won't be returning it, I'm just working out how to apply it juuuust right.

I found I didn't need this product. I felt it made my hair feel as if it had product in it. It really does hold a style. I dry my hair naturally..perhaps it's best for those that blowdry etc.

Quick Take: non-sticky, lightweight, easy to use
My natural curls are varied...I have some corkscrew curls and some loose curls. I am Caucasian and have fine hair that reaches the middle of my back. I have used this, in the full-size, for over two years now along with the Climate Control Gel! The spray is non-sticky, especially when used sparingly! I live in the South and while there are still some days that my hair is frizzy, this helps make those days fewer and far between! I use it on my wet hair and then again after I let it air dry to set the curls!

Quick Take: smelly, leaves hair crunchy
I have fine hair that just will not hold a curl. I had hoped this product would help when using hot rollers. It didn't. It was no different than when I use hair spray only the smell is a bit more off putting - smells a bit like black licorice. I may leave it on the freebie table at work so I don't have to use it up.

Great Hold, Not Stiff

This Styling Mist holds my curl quite well. It doesn't make my hair stiff or sticky, nor does it weigh my hair down. Ouidad is fast becoming my favorite hair-line ever. I have never bought and been so satisfied with multiple products from one line. Love this stuff.

Love Love Love this product. Doesn't leave your hair hard and cruchy. Very soft and the hold is great. Once you set in the morning your good all day. A little sticky when wet. Dries soft.
