Ouidad 12 minute conditioning treatment

This product is amazing. You must use it exactly as directed. My hair is so healthy from this product. I'm 65 years old, and it makes my hair style so youthful and bouncy. I have a lot of natural curl and along with the Ouidad carve and slice haircut and the Ouidad climate control, I'm set. I highly recommend all their products.

Saves my hair`

This product is pricey but worth it. I tend to NOT use it as directed, I just put it in my hair and leave it in while I shower or for 10+ minutes. I don't "heat set" the product as the label instructs, but I still find this to improve my hair's shine, condition, and strength. It keeps the ends healthy too.

Stripped my colour

I was so excited to try this. I have very thick, curly, colour treated hair that is in desperate need of some extra moisture and repair. After reading the directions and watching the instructional video I applied the treatment as instructed. It was not long after applying the treatment that I noticed red dripping. When I did wash the product out not only was my hair colour ruined but I did not notice any change in my hair. I have never returned anything to a store in my life but for what I paid for this it had to go back.

My hair is really dry from recent over-processing. After using the Ouidad shampoo/conditioner/ and this product, I couldn't comb out the tangles from my hair. This definitely made it worse. After using once, I returned the product to Sephora.

Quick Take: repairing, expensive
I bought this after the epic fail of the CArol's Daughter Monoi Repairing Shampoo and Conditioner set.Considering how pricey this is, I was REALLY hoping it would work. WEll, it did. Be sure to follow the directions EXACTLY. THis is a PROTIEN TREATMENT which will leave your hair feeling hard if you don't layer with conditioner ( or follow with a deep conditioner) afterwards. It does leave my hair in better shape than before I used it. I took off one star because it is SUPER expensive. But a little does go a long way. I have just above waist length 3c/4a hair and 2-3 oz of product does cover me.

i would give this product l00 STARS. i burnt my hair with a product called OOPS. for a year i put my hair in a ponytail so i would not have to blowdry it at night i would put pure olive oil with a stocking cap and sleep like that. if i could i would wear a baseballcap outside so the sun would not get to it i did everything i had long shiny, wavy hair every one would comment on my hair . after i use OUIDA 12 min deep treatment intensive repair my hair looked like it did when i was 25 years old. i am 62 have color treated hair with lots of gray. its expensive but i don't care. so far i have used it only twice and people are telling me what lovely hair i have BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT

I have been this treatment on and off since long before Sephora started carrying the brand. This is a holy grail hair product for a dry, frizzy, unmanageable, damaged wavy hair. this is not a regular moisturizing conditioner, it is a treatment!! You won't get great results unless u use it with heat and seal it with a moisturizing conditioner as the directions state. As long as you follow the directions, you will be good. my hair is really long and colored so i leave it in up to a half hour with heat and then another 20 minutes with conditioner on top. I do this treatment 2x a month it leaves my hair very shiny, soft and overall so much more healthy looking. My waves always look more defined after and it helps my frizz. this is worth every penny. I can't say enough good things. Just use it right.

I alternating between this hair masque and the Jon Freida conditioning masque, and this one definitely works better. However, the effect does not last as long as I would like...I can tell that my hair has lost a lot of curl after the 2nd day. By the third day, it is back to the frizzy waves.

I used it once and I already have healthy hair but it's very very frizzy and puffs all the time. The one use made a big difference on my hair.
The Deep Treatment is not ment to control frizz but just to restore curly nutrients and that's what it did! I was way wrong when I believed that my hair was already healthy. My hair had more curl in it than before but it did puff although not as much. Again it's NOT MENT TO STOP FRIZZ. It only helps with 1/3. Frizz is due to humidity. Use Heat and Humidity Gel as a frizz fighter.
The directions are horriable but I went on OUIDAD.COM and watched the video on how to use it. It's 5 Mins Heat with hair dryer and Warm (leave it alone) for 7 Mins. I didn't have a shower cap so I just used a grocery bag and tied it in the back.
All in All, I loved it and the website really helped! I plan to use this on my mom who lived through the hair damaging 80's and 90's. So you can imagine her hair! :O

Great Results after 1 trial

This product was suggested to me by a colleague. I have been using every 2nd week now for 2 months and have used it on clients as well. Black hair is naturally dry, so with Ouidad's Deep Treatment Intensive Repair I see tremendous improvement after the 1st usage. Actually, the last time I used it, I had it applied for 20 minutes under a heat cap and that was the best result ever. I strongly suggest it to all my friends and clients who have damaged hair.

A true damage reverser

You know that idiot who has her roommate bleach her hair blonde in the kitchen? Yeah, that's me. A few days after doing that I got my hair trimmed and my stylist told me it would be months before we could begin trying to salvage it.
I've been using this product for a week and there's already a visible improvement in the condition of my hair. It's obviously still damaged, but it's smoother, softer, shinier, and has less breakage and split ends. I am truly amazed by and in love with this product.

I had been meaning to post a negative review for this product after using this treatment once and receiving NO results. Well, I am very glad I decided to give it another shot and try it again while following the instructions TO THE LETTER. Ladies, the results were simply amazing! My hair is shoulder length, very thick, unruly and chemically treated, I normally use Phyto's line almost exclusively, so when I refer to Keratin Shampoo or Keratin Conditioner in this review; I am referring to Phyto's Keratin Line (which I highly recommend by the way)
This is what I did to achieve the softest, most manageable, super shiny hair ever:
I shampooed my hair as usual with Phyto's Keratin Shampoo, rinsed, and towel dried my hair, I then applied a Silver Dollar-sized amount of Oudad's Treatment, combed it through and covered it with a shower cap.
Next I used my blow dryer set to High Heat to process my hair for about 5 minutes, once my hair felt warm throughout, I waited for about 25 minutes. I then added my Keratin conditioner, combed it through, covered it up, and again processed it with the blow dryer for about 1-2 minutes. I waited 5 more minutes, and rinsed off the whole thing, towel dried my hair, then applied my Leave-In Keratin creme, combed it through, and blow dried my hair. The end result was just incredible: My hair was soft, shiny, and my split ends and frizz seemed to have disappeared!

It is my opinion that the utmost best results are achieved by leaving the product on the hair for more than the recommended 12 minutes, in fact, next week I plan on leaving the treatment on my hair overnight. I must stress however that activating the treatment with heat is a MUST, otherwise, your results will be mediocre. Please try this wonderful product, it really works!

I have used conditioners before that have blown me away with goodness; this one didn't do that. First off you don't get a lot of product for how much you pay. That said, however, it is a very thick product that might last longer than expected. The conditioner was not a great detangler, which is essential for my type of curly hair. Also, I am not clear on why the directions said to put on another conditioner after applying the 12 min treatment before rinsing. I didn't it anyways...My hair did look well conditioned and felt good, but it wasn't mind blowing. I use the other parts of this line, the curl quencher and the climate control. I think this is a great line...this conditioner needs more wow factor. BACK TO THE LAB.

I love Quidad in general. I tryed many products of other brands but always had to come back to Quidad. This mask is a must have for everybody, especially during cold and dry weather. It makes my hair supper silky and shiny, alive. I have died my hair many times before and now the ends are very dry. The mask brings them back to life! And it is very light. I have thing and soft hair, Quidad doesn't make my hair heavy and flat! I do recommend it to everyone...though it is kinda expensive.

Quick Take: rich
Well, I can't say enough about Ouidad products. I love this product in particular because when I feel the world is beating up my tresses I reach for it! Does a great job.
I know this may sound odd, but the smell is intoxicating. Reminds me of that sweet smell of ol old man pipe tobacco (prior to smoking of course). This isn't a bad thing, actually a really nice smell.
