Quick Take: easy to hold, great results
I have VERY curly wavy hair & have 2 say this comb has been a GOD send because it use 2 take me 1/2hr to comb through my hair & with this comb no more then 7minutes. Only down side is some women may find this comb 2 be too heavy or awkward but the ended result is completely worth it. I let my sister try it and that how she felt but I love it.

Quick Take: easy to hold, easy to use, really works on even the most tangly of manes
This thing is pretty magical. Yes, I still need to detangle with conditioner (and wen) twice in the shower and use BandB tonic generously before using it...but it actually detangles my hair and my hair will stay almost tangle-less (or as tangle-free as my hair ever will get) for a few good hours. This might sound like not very much, but nothing else has ever managed to perform this way and at this level for me. If you have the kind of hair that tangles as you finish detangling it...if you had given up hope of ever having hair that for a few hours at least doesn't look like Madonna's during her "Ray of LIght" days, then do yourself a favor and try it. I don't know how the double comb actually makes a difference (shouldn't it be just twice as difficult or painful to use?) but it makes a very huge one. I hesitated on buying this for months, as I thought it was going to be a gimmick.... I was very wrong... This is a great (and one of the only that should actually call itself a) detangling comb.

description didn't say what material the comb is made of - it's 100% plastic - hard plastic - I was hoping for a natural material......but LOVE the comb. I am nearing 50 and gray hair is coming in strong - I do color/bleach it but still gray is visible and the texture is much different than my other hair. When my hair is wet this comb handles the task like no other implements I've even used. Worth the price but wish it were made of man made material. Definitely recommend.

My Detangling Staple!

At first, I thought I was crazy for buying a comb this expensive, but let me tell ya this is worth it! I have extremely curly hair. With a regular wide-tooth comb, detangling took forever. But with this comb, I detangle my hair in less than 5 minutes, and it makes my curls look gorgeous. If you have curly hair get this comb!

I use the comb in the shower to detangle my hair when it's wet. I have had issues with my hair feeling geasy or not drying in certain areas I think due to shampoo/conditioners not completely rinsing from my tangled hair. Since using this comb and Alterna's RX shampoo and conditioner I have had no issues! I shampoo my hair, comb through, shampoo again and then condition and comb through. I'm going on 3 months of perfectly washed dryable hair. This is totally worth the price for the fact I can finally wear my hair down!

This comb is amazing. I seriously contemplated whether or not to purchase it based on price, but I can say it is worth every penny. My hair is really prone to messy knotted curls and this comb makes it so much easier to separate. I lose so much less hair than ripping a brush or other combs through.

So it does not mention anything on Sephora, but when you get it in the mail it says it is for curly hair. I have very fine straight hair that gets knotted really easy after the shower. It works pretty well, does take the majority of the tangles out but it's hard to use closer to my scalp. Overall I feel there must be a better product out there to help with fine hair. Don't know about how it works for curly though.

Quick Take: easy to hold, worth the money
Now I tthought that i may have been wasting my money when i brought this. I opened the box and saw how thick the comb was and still felt that it was suspect. My feelings changed about the comb once i attempted to comb it through my thick natural hair and it went right through it with very little snagging or tangling. Now i know this was worth the expensive price for a comb. There was little to no hair that came out into the comb and i am happy that i made this purchase and i will be buying another one for my mom and sister in law, who are both have natural hair.

I am transitioning from a relaxer to natural hair. I needed a comb that was gentle on the hair and would take care of the tangles. This is the comb to get the job done. I was so impressed with this comb that I purchased one for my daughter too.

Quick Take: shine enhancing, easy to hold, massaging
I love this comb! I use it in the shower and when my hair is dry. I needed a wide tooth comb that was durable and strong enough to detangle my thick hair.
Wearing hair straight: I have very thick, curly hair, so when it is dry and I need to come through it, it used to take a very long time to do so. Now the time is cut in half and I am able to detangle my hair in no time.
Wearing hair curly: When I comb the conditioner through my hair with this comb, my curls still stay intact. I used to not comb my hair while washing it because of fear that the comb will make my curls flat....this comb does not do that. Now my curls are bouncy and neat.
It is simply amazing.

Both of my daughters have a lot of 3c/4 hair, this comb pulls out a significantly less amount of hair and detangles well. It is expensive but it feels VERY tough and I doubt that I'll ever need to replace it.

This is a very big and heavy duty comb. I have very thick hair, but it's shorter right now so the comb does not work too well. I think it will be great on longer hair.
so if you have long thick and or curly hair it's definitely a high quality comb that will last

Quick Take: easy to hold
I have been using this comb weekly on my hair for about a year and I absolutely love it. I usually bring this comb into the shower and detangle my hair while I am conditioning it. I just have to comb through once post-shower = no disturbance to curl patterns (decreased frizz!!) My hair is thick, 3a/3b curly and long (mid-back) and has been difficult to manage in the past. This comb is a game changer! I recommend it without reservation.
