Most of the colors looked fully ridiculous on me, and I have a very neutral light/medium skintone. Also, the fallout was horrible. I was using the same Sephora shadow brush that I use with other shadows but with this set the shadow was flying all over the place. I returned it.

Quick Take: soft natural subdued
I wasn't sure about this palette when I received it. The colors were really subdued, and found it took a lot of layering to achieve a darker color. I had been using the Naked 1 Palette by Urban Decay, which is heavily pigmented. I found this palette to be the opposite. It took a few weeks of using it, but I have a new appreciation for it, and actually am liking it more and more. The colors are really soft, and there is little risk of applying too much. There is no shimmer or sparkle, which I like, especially if I want a more natural look. So it has become a nice alternative to a bolder look with sparkle. Also, the shadows are soft, and have accidently chipped pieces out of them, so take care when handling them. All in all, a nice palette.

Quick Take: portable, good value
These colors are rich and fun - but also neutral enough to wear every day. There are both mattes and shimmers. Also, the brush that comes in the palette is one of the best eye shadow brushes I've ever had!

Quick Take: portable, good value
This pallette is fabulous. The application is perfection and the pigmentation is great. You don't have to use very much for everyday wear and it stays in place all day long. The brush is nice, one end for application and the other for blending. Pencil is good. This turned out better than I expected, but Tarte generally doesn't dissappoint.

i got this and fell in love with this palette. i love the colors and the palette contains cards of eye look ideas. my favorite part of this palette is the brush. the easy crease brush is amazing and i want to buy one separately because it is that good. the eye liners are good also

amazing palette, with excellent brushes and how to insert to do the job! Have been using Dior eye shadows for years, but Tarte brushes that came with this palette have turned me into a Tarte eye shadow fan!!! Was able to catch a discounted price for this set, but would have paid a higher price too, excellent product!!!!

Quick Take: portable, good value
For me, this is a phenomenal palette. I don't do bold colors, and usually look like I'm not wearing makeup even when I am because I'm just that good at knowing what to do with it. If that's you, get some of this. It's easy, goes on light so when you screw it up it does't look bad, but really adds a natural-looking touch of color. I got it on sale so the price was pretty great as well. Easy to throw in the purse and touch up after work before going out. Great if you just need something new but don't want to commit to one or two colors.

Quick Take: good value, soft, highly pigmented, blendable
This is one eyeshadow palette where I love all the colors! The top row of shadows creates one look and the bottom row creates another look. Included with the set is a two-sided liner, brush, and an instruction sheet to complete the two looks. The shadows are soft, blendable, and higly pigmented. I can't review the brush because I haven't used it yet. The case is refillable, but I haven't tried to remove an individual shadow for fear of breaking it up. Love this palette!

Quick Take: dissapointing
I bought these because the colors looked beautiful and they seemed pretty matte. The color does not show up on my eyelid at all. I'm very fair but I need shadows with depth like urban decay. I don't recommend these shadows.
