I'd like it better if smelled differently

Quick Take: good value
The first time I used it was the same day I had an appointment with my stylist. My stylist, who's a curly hair genius, commented how great my curls looked. So my curls looked great when I used it. And I've thick, coarse, curly hair.
However, it just smells weird - like old man pomade. Yuck!

Quick Take: good value
Great way to try these products without buying a full bottle. I really like the shampoo and conditioner and will likely buy them at full size. The gel works great, but is a little sticky for my slightly wavy hair. The misting spray is great, but I had a hard time applying just the right amount.

Quick Take: good value
This was my first time trying this product, I was extremely surprised with the results that I got. I have naturally curly hair, VERY curly. In the past I have had problems finding just the correct product for my picky hair, but I am always looking for something new and maybe better. I was very happy with the results! I do suggest that you try the starter kit just in case it does not work for you. I have a new favorite product.

Good set to try out

The shampoo/conditioner didn't seem like it was specific for curly hair, but it seemed to work, not sure if it was better than any other shampoo out there. I do like the Gel and the refreshing spray, they seem to work with my curls. I would probably try other products if they were on sale or had some type of promo going. Not sure if I'd buy it again at full price.

Best Travel Set

I bought this set to take on my 8 day cruise and it was the perfect amount with some to spare. I loved the refreshing spray in the morning. It brought back my curls from the day before. I will buy this set every time I go on vacation!

I bought this to try it out and it is really nice. I will definitely be buying the big bottles. Cleans hair and leaves no heavy residue. Spray is nice and light. Gel is a soft/medium hold, works well for a relaxed look.

I was traveling very frequently for work throughout the late summer and early fall. All of these products are great, but I especially loved the botanical misting spray to perk up my curls after the end of a long work day, but before dinner.

Really liked tis product. Was only gonna buy the serum but for a few bucks more I got the whole kit! Shampoo smells like baby shampoo but the conditioner does not. It does help the frizz. I really like the spray for reviving curls it the a.m. I would buy this kit again. Perfect sizes for traveling.

This is okay but it didn't help with frizz control or curl for me. I was kind of bummed by it. It also seems like there is something extra in your hair a layer of something. I have another store curl mousse I use that does not do that!! Has an odd smell to all products too!

Quick Take: good value, awesome frizz-control curl-defining
I went to Sephora a month ago, actually looking to try a different brand of product that a friend had recommended for my long, curly, likes-to-be-frizzy hair. The consultant (Shelleone) advised trying this combo of products for my hair type, and I am absolutely addicted!
Great products, only a small amount of most of them is needed (I do use more of the creme rinse than the other products).... results.... soft, frizz-free curls!!

Not for colored hair!

I asked an employee at the store I went to for natural, curl-enhancing products for colored hair. These did make my wavy hair look amazing; but it stripped my color! Thankfully, I only used it twice to keep most of what color I had, but sadly, it is not meant for this type of hair.

Got this for a trip to CO after a recent haircut that enhanced my curls. The shampoo and conditioner are great, and so is the refreshing spray. I'm a bit ambivalent on the gel because it seemed to dry out my hair too much, and it's the only reason I didn't give this set 5 stars.

They are great, Gave my hair the moisture it needed. I have the full line now. I especially like the 12 minute deep condition. I wear it as a leave in. ANd the products do make my unruly hair curl!! YAY!

I normally use Phyto products. I was going on a vacation and thought I'd try this out. I have course curly hair but it is also fine...there is just a lot of it! The conditioner didn't really do much for me. The other products in the kit were not very effective either - just okay. They didn't really do what they said they would on the bottles. Phyto products work much better.

I just purchased my first set of Ouidad product so I started with this to try it out without paying full price for everything and after just one try I'M HOOKED! I will def be buying the full size versions once I'm done with this Starter Kit. I have virgin (never dyed or chemically processed) tight curls that usually look wild and dry. While I love my curls I would hate to wear it to work because I was embarassed. After discovering Ouidad, thats no longer the problem! I love my totally presentable, healthy looking gorgeous curls! THANK YOU OUIDAD! Happy curls = happy girl.

Great line/products!
They really do save your hair i extra humid conditions and leaving it feeling great. LOVE the Botanical Boost Spray.
Bought this set to take on a trip with me. Was easy, super convenient as it helped me zip through airport security as I was able to fit the rest of my liquids into this bag.
