Normally I use my fingers to blend foundation but I decided to purchase this sponge to get more coverage and to be mindful of any trace of oils or bacteria I could spread my using my fingers.
This sponge made it less messy for application and absorbed the foundation. So I say if you want less of a mess purchase or to feel like your evenly apply foundation to your skin, purchase.

Wet with warm water and squeeze out excess...
2 full pumps of my liquid foundation on the back of my hand...
Pick up and apply product onto face with the round bottom...
Stiple, stiple, stiple...Blend, blend, blend...
TA-DAH!...Amazing, flawless finish!

Comparable to beauty blender but....

This sponge is comparable to the beauty blender only smaller which makes it more portable...but if u have nails smaller isn't always better...also it has a little "band" that runs around the Middle if it and I'm not sure what the purpose of it was (maybe to not look identical to the beauty blender for legal purposes)? But it gets in the way...I do like it for perfect bending around the eyes for concealers ect.

While this did blend out my liquid foundation decently, I felt that it took too long to apply and absorbed too much of the product (even when I dampened the sponge). I like my duomat brush MUCH better and it is far easier to clean.

I was looking for the Beauty Blender but could not find it so I thought I would try this one instead. Altoughh the product works fine I found it to be a little too stiff and it ate up alot of my product. I had to use a lot of pressure to get the complexion perfect, just wish it was a little softer.

I wasn't too crazy about this sponge. I bought it in the store after not finding the beauty blender there. It is small and stiffer than what I had hoped for but cheaper than the beauty blender so I thought I'd give it a try. It remained stained after I cleaned it however I just ordered the beauty blender cleanser in hopes it will help. Will probably try the beauty blender next time once this thing finds its end.

I thought I'd save myself some money by purchasing this sponge instead of the Beauty Blender (which I ended up ordering) and I was a little disappointed. First off it was tinier then I expected. The sponge does not get bigger once it's damp and it's actually rather stiff.

Absolutely terrible. All it did was soak up my makeup. I know people say your supposed to wet it, but there was no instruction included to do so. I returned this product immediately, and would not recommend it to anyone...

Not bad, these sponges are great for blending and getting into small areas like the corners of nose etc.. This sponge is good quality and holds out well and lasts awhile, I think beauty blender is better, as it spreads product a little better, but this is a good alternative for a lower price,

I bought this sponge instead of the beauty blender sponge. I do like it, but will go back to using the beauty blender instead. It's softer and spreads the product around easier. However, if you don't want to spend the $$ for the beauty blender, this sponge is the next best thing.

dot concealer around eyes and nose...dot foundation all over face...wet sponge and squeeze the water out. use the pointy end around the eyes and nose...bottom end all over face....secret is blotting and bouncing of the sponge all over the face...blot and bounce the sponge.

ive never been a user of sponges, let alone one shaped like an egg BUT this makes sense...the pointy tip is used around the eyes to blot concealer and the bottom is for the face...u have to wet the sponge first then blot to get the airbrush look...trust me...it works. dot the concealer under eyes, nose/foundation on face & blot blot blot....bounce bounce bounce...do not use wiping motion...only blotting. follow with mineral veil or setting powder

Eats up product like crazy, not good for application. I don't find it blends my foundation aswell as a brush. Yet! This sponge is AMAZING at blending your jaw line and getting rid of that "mask effect" people suffer with.
