I adore the fat hair lotion. I have thick, wavy, oily hair, and this is the only volumizer I've found that works. It doesn't leave hair sticky, and my roots actually stay less oily than when I don't use it! It also gives amazing volume - it's my holy grail hair item. Totally worth going to a store for since it's almost never in stock online. The bonus thermal protector set for the same price as the hair lotion use to be is just icing on the cake!

I really wanted this to work. I read all the great reviews and was VERY excited to try this. The fat hair lotion was ok and while I thought it did what it was supposed to it made my hair stiff. I like soft and silky. THe protector was about the same. They smelled great but My hair was crunchy stiff and a little sticky. I used each product alone and in combination twice. 4 uses and it just didn't work for me. Maybe it is my processed hair. Blonde far from natural. I loved my ghd flat iron but this didn't work for me.

I wanted to believe all the good reviews I read, but unfortunately, this product did not do much for my hair. I have fine hair, yet frizzy in any humidity. This neither smoothed my frizz, nor gave it any extra body. I won't buy again.

I've used volumizers that either weighed down my hair until it clung limply to my head or else dried it to the point of sticking out all over with frizz. This is a great product. Fat hair lotion is the best! It really adds texture to my layered hair. Without it, my hair is just too smooth and flat so you can't really tell there's layers. Fat hair lotion work wonders!
