Great SPF solution
-05.07.13
Quick Take: hydrating
I was looking for a balm with SPF. I'm usually not a fan of lip gloss, don't like sticky, or overly glossy look. This looks more like a lip stain, no stickiness. Love the mocha tint, will be getting other colors. This gives a polished look for outdoors, love it!

This stuff is awesome. Just enough color. I got the crimson, and it is subtle and great. I am obsessed and will get a few more colors.

Not So Hydrating
-04.17.13
I normally love Laura Mercier products, but this lip balm/tint is not my fav. I like the intense color it gives my lips, however, it does not moisturize at all. I felt like I had to reapply after a few minutes. I'll stick to the Fresh lip balm/tint....

Exactly what I've been looking for
-04.10.13
I've been on the hunt for a moisturizing, light, lip color for months. I've been helped by various folks in store and tried products like the Tarte Lipsurgence and Nars items, as well as various Burt's Bees products. This Laura Mercier HydraTint in Rose Tint is perfect-- hydrating, not too expensive, moisturizing, and a low-key pop of color.

love it!
-04.07.13
Very moisturizing because it's actually a real lip balm. I've used it for several weeks now, and I can say that the color stays put for hours and it doesn't flake! Best lip color I've ever used, hands down. The best part is Laura's company is cruelty free :-) Will repurchase. I got it in Crimson and I'm pale with red hair. It's a good color for me.

Love the berry tint!
-04.06.13
I tend to wear brown lip colors and originally wanted the mocha tint, but it looks a bit too orangey with my medium skin tone. I tried the berry tint and was suprised at how much I love the color...it's the perfect pinkish plum that wakes up your face. I took off one star because it doesn't moisturize your lips if they are already dry and flakey. If my lips are especially dry I still have to apply chapstick or carmex under this balm. But overall I think it's a good product...great sheer color with SPF.

Best Sheer Lip Balm Ever
-04.01.13
Quick Take: hydrating
I have tried a lot of different SPF colored/tinted lip balms, and the moment I tried this, I knew I would look no further. Feels great and STAYS on. No weird taste. Great mocha color, without looking heavy like lipstick.

AMAZING
-03.25.13
I love this lip balm. It's subtle enough to wear casually during the day, but looks great at night with a little clear gloss on top. The color is amazing.

The perfect red stain-ed lip
-03.06.13
Quick Take: hydrating
I don't understand any of these negative reviews, this is an awesome lip balm. It has SPF, provides more lip payoff than the average balm, is easy to apply (without a mirror), and isn't as expensive as a lot of lipsticks. I bought it in Crimson as I was looking for a way to do red lips but with less mess-- more of a transparent red, easy to wear, that doesn't look cakey or smeared on (like red gloss tends to do). It's perfect. It has a good amount of color to it, and is so easy to apply. Don't be fooled by the color swatch online- Crimson is true red, not at all pink as it appears.

This is a beautiful sheer berry color, very moisturizing and fairly long-lasting. I love the way all the colors are very subtle and yet they give my lips just the right amount of color, not over-powering.

Surprisingly great!
-02.26.13
I love this stuff, what a surprise, I think they changed it. The color is lovely, a bit on the orange side for a red, and the taste and smell are nice too. I wish the other colors were a bit more pigmented though. I will have to revisit for more, as I am still on my strong sheer color binge!

Great color and super hydrating!
-02.24.13
Quick Take: pretty
I bought this in the berry color and it complements my olive skin very well! The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because the description states this is a lip balm that is suppose to provide "sheer natural color", which is what attracted me to purchase this. Instead the color is much more bold and saturated, which I still love, and will probably repurchase due to how hydrating it is compared to other lipsticks. ( I view this as a lipstick more than a lipbalm )

I love this stuff!
-02.13.13
Quick Take: hydrating, colorful
I absolutely love this stuff! I wear it everyday! It keeps my lips moistuized and the color is just right. Doesn't smell that good and the color part wears off after about and hour, but my lips still look amazing!! I recommend this to everyone looking for a chapstick and lipstick in one!

quality product from Laura Mercier
-02.11.13
Nice texture, nice color and more staying power than most sheer tint lip balms. SPF is not really broad spectrum enough to rely on in full sun, but one can always layer another product with it in outdoor settings. A bit overpriced, however.

Not too moist and gooey not to dry. The amount of color is perfect - just enough to refresh color during the day without buildup and caginess. Mocha is very natural looking....

does give your lips some moisture and color. I find with just color my lips dry out too much. and it's not sticky once it's on your lips -which is nice

My go-to daily lipwear
-01.21.13
This is the third time I've purchased this - it's wonderfully moisturizing and the color is great. Stays on much longer than any other colored "balm" I've ever tried.
