I have the old version of this eyelash curler. It does curl my lashes well, but it pinches me. I have to do it very carefully. But, this product, the newer version, it does not really curl my lashes and it pinched me really bad. I returned it.

I love this i recently purchased it and it doesn't tug or pull on my lashes and my lashes are curled ALL DAY without mascara.

Quick Take: not remarkable
curls nicely- i'm not sure any significantly better than others. i used a shu umeura curler before, and i don't think its that different/better. people have noted that the curl holds longer with the shiseido, but i didn't find that was the case.
oh, and i don't like how it pinches my eyelids.

No matter how I use it, my inner conner of the eyelid always gets hurt and becomes red afterwards...it's painful,dont buy.

My daughter whose lashes are super straight & grow downward swears by this curler so I had to give it a try. I've always used Shu Uemura and found that I was equally impressed with this curler. It gives that perfect lift and curl even for my thin lashes that lasts all day. A WINNER!

This eyelash curler is freaking amazing. It actually curls my lashes unlike some other cheap brands. I curl my lashes before I put mascara on and believe me it makes a huge difference.

Quick Take: fits comfortably
I've been using this for 3 years now and I don't plan on switching off it. I have used shu uemura and revlon and they can't beat the shiseido curler. This curler fits my eye shape very well (I have large almond-shaped eyes). I have really long, uber-straight lashes, and this gets the job done without breaking off my lashes. I like to heat it up with a blow-dryer so my curl can last all day. Also, I love how you can buy refill pads.

Works great ! This is my first time using one and it doesn't pinch & is very easy to use. Improves the look of my sparse lashes..Surprised at how much this helps...
