I KNOW, if you are like me, you tell yourself you will never buy more eyeshadow because you have other compacts of colors that you can use... DON'T listen to your inner critic! This is fabulous, blendable, adjustable for day and night. I have hazel eyes & Fekkai 9N hair! You will love the slant brush for the center eyeliner,too.

Quick Take: good value, highly pigmented, great staying power
What a great product! Four fantastic shadows and an amazing eyeliner. The shadows are highly pigmented yet very blendable. All four shadows coordinate with eachother so you can use them individually or mix them. The colors are excellent for both day and evening wear and after wearing them all day, they do not fade or crease. The eyeliner is equally great. Very easy to apply, never runs or moves until you take it off. One quick sweep of the brush and it looks like your liner was applied by a professional!!! YSL has done it again...

You can't go wrong with YSL's Midnight Palette. The colors coordinate beautifully and are richly pigmented. The shadow glides on smoothly and is super easy to blend. You can apply it as light or as heavy as you want because it's easily buildable according to what you want. YSL makes great shadow and this is another great palette.

I just purchased Midnight today. Normally, I wouldn't spend this much on eye shadow, but it was worth every penny. The packaging is great, and the colors beautiful.

YSL has done it again!- 08.13.09
Quick Take: good value, long wearing, silky, easy to apply, blendable
YSL has done it again this fall with this beauitful e/s quint. The shadows are long wearing, silky, blendable and easy to apply. The four colors on the outer part of the palette are shimmery which can be used alone or mixed together for a daytime or evening look. The black matte color in the middle is said to be an eyeliner but can also be used as a shadow. My favorite part of this quint is the angled brush which can be used to line the eyes with any of the 5 shades.
The price of YSL shadows are for the value of them which is exceptional. You're getting what you pay for!
