The Good and the Bad: Trooper

Quick Take: waterproof, long wearing, easy to use, easy to apply, precise, fast drying
Good:
- Great pen tip. Easy to create both thick and thin lines, and very easy to apply. I recommend starting from the outer corner and working your way in, if you're doing a cat eye.
- Very long lasting. I have worn it for 2 days straight when I pulled an all-nighter for work. Not optimal, but it still looked almost completely flawless.
- Pretty good black. I usually do 2 coats, which isn't too difficult to apply. It also dries fairly quickly, so you can do 2 coats very fast.
- Long pen makes it easy to grip, and the learning curve is less steep than other liquid liners.
- Appears to last a long time. Mine has lasted a couple months of almost daily usage, and is just now starting to show signs of running out.
- Price/Value ratio. It appears to function for almost 3 months under daily use, with varying thicknesses of line. That kind of makes it worth the $18, and the easy-to-use pen.

Cons:
- Pen dries out quickly. This was an issue at the beginning more, when it took me longer to apply my makeup. Now, it usually only takes me one pen, but I have a backup liner just in case, or to use for a second coat.

This is ok. It tends to dry out which is common with alot of liquid eyeliners especially the new pen forms. I recommend the STILLA one instead. Much better!

Quick Take: smudgable, it's not super long lasting
I'm a huge fan of the pen, however it doesn't create an all day cat eye. It's something i put on right before I leave even if the rest of my eye is complete -in order to keep it looking great through the evenings events.

I bought the blue and the purple liners. The blue is okay but the purple is really bad. It goes on horribly, very sheer and the quality seems cheap. I even tried using it as a top coat to a pencil liner and that didn't work either. Very poor product for the brand and the cost.

Liner is easy to apply and dries quickly so it doesn't smudge easily. I dont have to hold my eye stretched out to apply and it goes on thinly and is easy to thicken depending on the look I want.

Awesome Liquid Eye Liner

Quick Take: waterproof, long wearing, precision, convenient, intense color
This liquid liner is one of my favorite eyeliners. I usually don't like to put tons of makeup on (and it's not like I have time anyway due to the busy days...), so eyeliners to me play a major role into my daily "look fresh" routine.
Anyway, I have gotten a smaller size of these babies from Sephora's special "Draw the Lines Eyeliner Samplers" set. And it was simply amazing! Here is the Pros and Cons of it:
Pros:
- Precision: You can draw very precise and thin lines with this because of the thin tip.
- Durable: "Tattoo" liner after all; once this is on, it will stay on for quite a long while. It doesn't smear after the liquid dries.
- Convenient: It's a "pen"! You can bring it and take it with you anywhere! Packaging is fantastic.
- VERY BLACK: I got this in the Trooper, and it's very black! The more your layer it... The darker it will get!
- Precision: You can draw very precise and thin lines with this because of the thin tip.

This eyeliner is pretty awesome with the exception of the occasional drying on the tip. So what I like to do is swipe the tip on my hand before I use it just to make sure that there will be "ink" when I apply it. In addition to that, give it a little shake! It will help on that too!

I have a love/hate relationship with this liner. It is the finest tip and lays down the smoothest line...when it's working. I have issues with the liner drying in the brush tip, and the product 'runs out' until it is wet down. This gets a little frustrating/tedious, when winged eyeliner already takes so long. I recommend storing it tip side down.

Quick Take: waterproof, long wearing, easy to apply
If you haven't already tried this liner, please go right this second and buy it! It glides on smoothly and is easy to control. It lasts through just about any situation you can bring from sweating to crying to a 12 hour day. I can't even use other liner now, Kat Von D has spoiled me. I'd give 6 stars if I could!

Quick Take: long wearing
I've been using this eyeliner for about a year and a half now and I thought that this might be the one. It's long lasting! I wear it with UD primer so I don't know how it does without it, but it lasts from 8am to 1am without any issues. I'm a college student so days are long and hectic. The color is actually black. The pen is easy to handle and so much more convenient than a brush (which I used to use with Make Up Forever pot). It's also a fantastic price. Unfortunately, I've been paying more attention to health warnings and documentaries about cosmetic products and am disappointed to say that I will not longer be using this product because it contains parabens.

Switched to this from Stila, & I'm glad I did! Not only it is less expensive, but I feel the ease use and forgiveness of the liner is much better! Better control for flow, a beauty staple if you prefer liquid liner.

Best Eye Liner I've Ever Used!

I've been a fan of the Kat Von D line for a while but just picked this eye liner up the other day for the first time. I can't even explain how impressed I am with it! I do cat wings and it makes them look perfect on the first try. It's so thin and it's not a flemsy felt tip like other eye liner pens I've tried in the past. It's super easy to use, the color is great (not dull) and its pretty much the perfect eyeliner, especially for people who do cat eye wings. It's definitely my new go to eye liner and it is a must have. I will definitely be picking up more of these!

Quick Take: long wearing
I originally receive this eyeliner in a mini version in a value set/ sample set... can't really remember. When I ran out, I just had to buy it! I like to use this especially when I do a cateye look, its smooth and easy to apply. If you mess up, it comes off easy with a gentle rub and water. It will last all day ( have oily skin).

Had to return first purchase as unit would not work. Shook the liner -nothing-- pushed the cap on and off nothing.No liguid would load onto the brush .Sephora honored the defective unit .Time will tell if this is a workable product or like the first a failure .
