Terrible Smell

Quick Take: smelly
I think this could be a decent face lotion, rather basic. Not too heavy, not too light. It does leave a slight film on the skin but mostly, I just can't get past the smell! My boyfriend won't come near me whenever I use this lotion and said it smells like "sour milk." Love the rest of the Fresh Soy products though, too bad.

At first when I had this tried on, I was not a big fan on the smell. The smell is very strong, it seems like there is a vinegar scent to it, which really made me want to go against trying this. But I ended up trying a sample of it and I am honestly so impressed. I really love this product! I love the way it feels after applied and has reduced up to 95% of pimples from appearing in my dry area (compared to what i was using before) . Highly highly recommend this for dry & combination skin, still uneasy about the 'natural" smell though. **BUT! Let me say this, if you know you have combination skin, make sure you only put this product on your dry area! If not you will be oiling up in the areas you don't want to be!

Quick Take: lightweight
I do not recommend this cream because of the smell. It smells like a smelly wet towel that didn't dry properly. I regret buying it and wish I could return it to the store.

I used the cleanser , fell in love with it. Made my face so smooth. And also it brings Vitamin A,B and C to your face! Bought the cream today. Tried it, it's my greasy at all.

I love this product! I had previously used a moisturizer prescribed by my dermatologist, but it was too expensive. When I purchased Fresh Soy Face Cream I was looking for a natural moisturizer that would agree with my sensitive and sometimes dry skin. The women working in Sephora first recommended it and I thank them. I can't go a day without it and it works wonderfully against the cold New England climate. I also think it smells great, unlike some prior posts, and I usually have an aversion to overly parfumed products.

I have combination skin - quite dry in the harsh Canadian winter, a little oily through my t-zone in the summer. I have used this face cream through the last 2 winters and I love it. Helps keep my skin feeling really soft, absorbs quickly, has a lovely light scent, and one tube lasts me 4-5 months. I use the face crem with the Soy cleanser. They are fantastic together!

I've used this stuff for almost a year now and I cannot rave enough about it! My face feels instantly moisturized after I put this on! I wasn't sure about this because it is pretty expensive for the small amount you get, but I found I only needed about a nickel sized amount, a little goes a long way.
Alright Alright.. yes, it does smell horrible to me too! If you like fresh scents maybe you'll like it, It's definintely lemon and soy smelling. But for the amazing feeling it gives my skin I'll sacrifice! No oily skin. No dry skin. This is my perfect moisturizer!

Horrible Scent

I was so excited to try this because I love the Soy Face Cleanser and the back of the cleanser bottle says to finish your routine with the cream. I've been looking for a good face cream or moisturizer just for those days when my face feels a little dry. Unfortunately, I don't know if this is a good face cream because I couldn't stand the smell of it to keep it on. As soon as the first dab hit my face the scent of rose perfume hit me and I had to wash my face immediately. I don't really get why the cream and cleanser smell so different, but this cream made me feel as if I'd just doused my face in my grandmother's perfume. Sadly, the search still continues for the right face moisturizer.

Light and Moisturizing but TERRIBLE Smell

I am a huge fan of other Soy face products (cleanser, exfoliator) and the Black Tea line, but I just couldn't use this because the smell was so awful. I used up my 2 samples of it while on business travel, because I didn't want my husband to have to smell it. For the record the smell is MUCH stronger and more potent/rotten than the soy cleanser's smell.
It's a shame because it is a nice cream otherwise.

I really like this face cream, not too rich but not thin. It smells wonderful and feel very comfortable on my face. I used two bottles two years ago and wanted to try other face cream. After I tried a lot other brand, I turn back to fresh and it is still the best for me.

I have oily, acne prone skin and I believe this keeps it hydrated when the winter strikes and I need a heavier cream. This is not too heavy but more creamier than I normally need. It smells delicious too-- like roses. Benn using over 2 yrs-- won't stop anytime soon.

It makes my skin very soft and feels like very protective.
The only thing that I don't like about so lost one star from its rating is the scent. It'd be better to have more crisp and fresh (like your name) scent. Just my two cents.

I have oily, sensitive, acne prone skin, but also have dry areas that break out more the drier they get. This is one of the few face creams - or moisturizers for that matter - that doesn't irritate my skin. I have fewer breakouts, too! I love that it absorbs quickly and doesn't feel like a mask - or come back to the surface when you sweat. I teach yoga and can't have something that sweats out. I love this product!

I have adult acne and this is the only mosturizer that I have ever found that won't make me break out. My only wish is that it was oil free. My skin naturally gets oilier as the day goes on but I feel like when I where a mosturizer it is even oilier. This moisturizer doesn't add too much extra oil. The soy face cream is also very light and smells fresh and clean.
