T3 PRO. Straighten

What it is:A tourmaline-infused, one-inch-wide flat iron that creates smooth, sleek, pin-straight hair. What it does:T3's unique, patented tourmaline technology infuses (doesn't spray or coat) the gem into the precision-engineered ceramic plates and heaters, ensuring the most reliable and superior styling. It effectively straightens even super-curly, unruly, and ethnic hair types. A fully adjustable temperature control (up to 410 F) delivers smooth, shiny, fabulously frizz-free results that last all day long. What else you need to know:Only T3's patented technology fully unleashes tourmaline's ionic benefits, locking in healthy moisture for exceptionally well-conditioned tresses. The precious gemstone, commonly found in jewelry, is known as the 'electric stone' for its ability to naturally emit ionic energy when put under pressure or heated.

Not happy... - 11.16.09
I bought this as a replacement for my CHI, I was very disappointed, I have semi-wavy hair and I had to go over my hair at least twice to get it smooth. The CHI left my hair looking glossy and straight. This did absolutely nothing for me; I'm returning it.

Better than GHD - 11.16.09
So I bought a GHD iron, since it was supposed to be the best. I was not impressed at all so I gave T3 a shot. I like this iron for the price. I have a ton of straight hair, I straighten since I prefer it stick straight. I think most people with an average amount of hair would give this iron 5 stars

Straightens & Curls - 11.14.09
This is my first flat iron (I've only used curling irons before), so some of my problems may be due to the fact I'm just not used to using flat irons. I still have a few hairs that won't stay down, but for the most part it straightens pretty well - the way it does when you comb your hair when you get out of the shower and let it dry naturally. I haven't had my hair styled at the salon in a while, so I can't accurately tell you how close to salon quality it is. It is very easy to curl the ends of your hair with this, so easy I accidentally curled about 8 inches of hair. I was surprised at how fast this heats up. I hadn't even finished combing my hair when it was ready. Granted my hair is long and thick, but with my old curling iron I had to wait a while before it was ready.
One Tip - When using, make sure your hair doesn't rest in the grooves in the handle as you pull the iron down - it'll give you tons of fly-aways.

quick and easy - 11.12.09
Quick Take: well-made

This product, although quite pricey, is worth the money. I feel like it is in no way damaging to my hair and it heats up miraculously quickly!

Love it. - 10.08.09
Quick Take: great

This is a great hair straightener. I have had several other brands before and my t3 is better! It makes my hair smooth and tames my frizz. I love the fact that you can control the temperature unlike other straighteners that only have an on/off switch. Buy it!

I love mine very much! - 09.20.09
Quick Take: worth the investment

My hairdresser rec this one to me. She also told me the Wet-Dry versions will in her opinion FRY your hair. She said you want one that goes up to 410 degrees. Any less and it won't be hot enough. Be careful though my first try I burned myself. I was amazed that I could actually do MYSELF what my hairdresser does at her salon. I was ready for the worst and to send this back but I didn't. I also use a T3 blow dryer. So between the two I can go every other day without washing my hair.. It looks and feels as clean, shiny and STRAIGHT as the first day. This is worth the investment. I researched A LOT and found that Sephora also had the best return policy in the event I bought this and regretted it.

Loved the color - 08.31.09
I really didn't need this...so had to end up returning it due to economic reasons. :-( But I loved the color and the fact that the plates have curved edges. Also, I liked the fact that this is a "mini" but really, it wasn't that much smaller than my current one, which works just fine. The fact that this has temperature control is a mixed blessing - be careful not to get it too hot, otherwise you will damage your hair!! So - when my current flatiron finally does go on the fritz, I will do the other model they have in the store, which is lots more expensive, but you can use it both as a curling iron and a flat iron, has automatic shutoff, etc.
