I've had this flat iron since Christmas '08 and it hasn't failed me yet! I have VERY curly, relatively long hair that is quite fine and its small design allows me to get as close to my scalp as possible to make my hair look naturally straight and shiny. It heats up really fast, and gets the job done in less than 30 minutes! I'd recommend this to anyone with curly hair that's looking for a good, reliable flat iron. I've used sooo many different kinds, and even CHIs couldn't do what my trusty T3 could =) Worth every penny.

Quick Take: heats quickly, bulky
I was super excited when this product came out. I have a dramatic A-line cut where it is super short in the back. I thought this iron would make a huge difference from my CHI which had served me great for years, by getting the short hairs in the back, and allow me to get the volume and curls as it had advertised. It didn't give me the volume, but then again I don't have super fine hair. And it was too bulky to create curls, and didn't have enough heat outside of the concave plates to make the curls. It did heat up quickly, but unfortunately didn't make enough of a difference for me to justify the price.

Need really short hair- 12.31.09
I had to return this- The only reason why I am rating his poor is I couldn't use it- It may be a good product for people with shorter hair. My hair is not quite shoulder length which I considered short. But the way the iron is curved and as small as it is, you need really short hair. I couldn't seem to make it work with my hair.

A True revelation!- 11.18.09

It is an eye opener when you sit in your hair dressers chair and he tells you your hair is aging ... Ouch! That was when ordered the T3 to see if I could disguise my aging, limp hair. I use the T3 on a daily basis and every day since I have started I get some sort of compliment on my hair. The T3 is easy to master and does exactly what it says it will do ..,. the only exception is no where does it say that it is also an ego booster. I love this product and will never live without it again. Will probably be ordering another one just in case this one breaks.

T3 Volumizing Iron: Amazing For Fine Hair- 09.30.09

If you have baby fine short-to chin length hair, this T3 iron will give you styling options you have never had before. Unlike regular irons that have flat plates, the two sides of the iron are curved-one concave, the other convex. Instead of flattening the hair, they give hair body at the crown, turn sides under or flipped, smooth out bangs, fluff flat bobs into chic do's with movement and shine. I have learned different ways to give myself new styles with volume the longer I've used this amazing tool. .My only complaint is that the heat settings typeface has worn away with use. Still, this is a breakthrough tool for those of us who struggle with styling baby fine hair!
