Awesome! - Clears Closed Comedones- 11.03.09
32 years old,combo skin, history of acne, mostly healed but problems with closed comedones. Clarisonic is gradually lifting out the old debris and my skin is getting clearer DEEP DOWN. Totally pleased. Totally worth it. Was worried I need extra speeds -- not so much. They are a nice to have, but not necess.
I love it. My face has never felt cleaner. The Mia is a perfect size for me...and it's PINK! Combined with great skincare products and masking on a regular basis, Mia makes my skincare life so complete! She's a keeper.
I love the Mia! It is the perfect size for traveling. I have been using it for about a month. At first my face broke out but then after a week I started to clear up. I have noticed my pores have reduced and some of the fine lines as well. I also like that it is waterproof and I can use it in the shower.
I think I'm in love. Seriously, after one day, my skin felt softer and smoother. Also, I am using less foundation. It's really cute and PINK. It fits comfortably in the hand. I personally think the Mia is a much better size than the original. I also like the magnetic charger. It is expensive, but it's worth it.
I'm thrilled that Clarisonic has finally made this travel size (Mia) machine. I'm a flight attendant and just didn't want to take my big Clarisonic with me and really hated to wash my face without it. Once you get use to using the machine your skin changes for the better and nothing else will do. Not quite thrilled with the charger but it's okay just use to the regular one with my big machine. Ladies you've got to try one of them, you will love it and your skin will too! Make this a Xmas gift for yourself
I had ready high hopes for this brush, and I was super excited when I got it. Unfortunately, it made my skin very red and I had break outs (especially on the cheeks). I tried using it for about a week or so and did not see ant improvements, so I had to return it. Hope it will work for you because I did hear great thing about it!
I bought the Clarisonic because a girlfriend raved about hers. I started using it a month ago, and I'm still getting used to it. At first it seemed too harsh on my skin, even though it came with the sensitive brush heads. (I must need to use the delicate heads.) I now use it only once a day - at night when I need to remove all the makeup from my face before going to bed. In that regard, it works really well. I am amazed how well it removes dirt and makeup. The first few days my nightly moisturizer was absorbed so well that my skin felt really dry when I woke up. Now both my skin and I have adjusted to this ultracleansing. However, I still have a lot of middle-age acne, although I hope through time the Clarisonic will help my skin keep the flare ups down
I have pretty young skin and was hoping the deep cleansing of the Mia would help prevent acne. It helped a bit, but not enough to justify the cost to a college student. I might buy a full-sized clarisonic brush later in life. If you're young, this is definitely a splurge and not an undiscovered necessity.
I was having frequent hormonal breakouts after having kids and nothing I tried in terms of products had been doing much to help. However, several women in my mother's group recommended the Clarisonic so I decided to give it a try. I chose the Mia over the regular size because of their lament that the regular one was too big to travel with. When I received the Mia, I was delighted to see that it was the perfect size (the regular size must be huge!). Before trying the Mia, I went and got a professional facial to clean out my pores so as to avoid creating any more breakouts with the sudden deep cleansing of the brush. I then started using the Mia once a day and noticed a significant and almost immediate difference in both the smoothness and clarity of my skin. I cannot imagine being without it now. I don't use it with the Clarisonic cleansers because they contain less desirable ingredients, but I have had great luck using it with REN's Mayblossom and Blue Cypress Cleanser.
I love this system. I use it evey night. My face has never felt cleaner. my pore are smaller, and my skin is much smoother! That's really a great improvement for a fifty year old. The first two weeks I did have some breakouts, because it was bringing all the junk in my skin to the surface. I love that it has a timer, so you don't over do it, and its simple to recharge.
I have been reading reviews of the Clarisonic for over a year, and finally took the plunge. At first I bought the PLUS, and loved it, but did not use the body attachment all that much. I returned it for the MIA. Mia pros: size, convenience of travel, don't need to figure anything out. Cons: I liked the variety of more speeds on the plus. So in the end, I returned the Mia and got the PLUS again. Still not using the body attachments all that much but still love the machine, regardless. I did notice breakouts at first, but all is fine now. My face feels super clean (I don't wear makeup though) and glows, but it is not a miracle worker. Overall, great buy, but a bit pricey.
Quick Take: great value keeps skin lokking its best
Ok I can't say enof about this kit. ITS PINK,its portable,it clears skin. This is great to make skin look and feel great. It gets deep down into skin to remove dirt,oil,makeup,and dead skin. This makes your face verry smoth and shiney, but in a good kinda shiney. It hepls with blackheds, more so then pimples. But overall this is totally worth the money.
I am very impressed with my results with the Clarisonic. My skin has been soft and smooth and feels great. I had tried the full size version but like the Mia much better. I like that it does not have the beeps and it is just the right size for me. The only problem that I have had is that I cannot use the clarisonic products for my face due to redness, breakouts and swelling. But I do love the Mia with my own cleanser. The little bag, charger and extra brush are terrific! Perfect for me.
I have the full size clarisonic and use it religiously. I even take it with me on vacation but it's always bulky and the battery will die half way through. I'm going on another vacation and I got this one. I'm so happy they finally come in travel size!!! I will be able to use it and keep a charge whenever I need it. I'm keeping it in my carry-on to use in airports on my layovers. Nothing beats clean skin after sitting on an airplane for 13 hours.
I had bought a the Clarisonic Plus and loved it for myself. So I bought the Mia for my teenage daughter. It helps exfoliate and clear up her acne breakouts
Love it! I have consistently troublesome skin, this device has helped my breakouts, skin tone & texture, pore size, etc. It's amazing and worth the $$.
I had been eyeing this item for months and when I saw it in pink, I splurged! I love it! I have been using it for two weeks and really feel a difference in my skin. I only wish I had purchased one sooner.
Even with the first use of this device, I noticed a huge difference in the size of blackheads. After using this device for months, the blackheads are still there, but they are tiny. I have sensitive, combination skin. I found that using the Clarisonic twice a day for 1 minute each was too drying on my T-zone. I take very good care of my skin, but the dryness brings out a wrinkle on my forehead. This makes me wonder if the Clarisonic simply does a good job of stripping away essential moisture from the skin? I have found that using the Claironsic once in the morning for one minute is the best for my skin. I also do not use the encosed cleanser. I use Neutrogena Anti-Stress Control Face Scrub. It is made with lab-screated micro-spheres that do not harm the skin like natural exfoliants do.
I spent some time over the last few months using the clarisonic for a week, then going without. I notice a difference even when I don't use it for one day. My skin becomes too oily in the T-zone and my blackheads will gradually become larger.
All in all I like my Clarisonic, and might invest in the more expensive Plus model one day. Besides, I've found that I enjoy cleasning more now, as it is so relaxing!
