What a great scent!

I bought this body wash because I already love the hand lotion in the same scent. The first time I used it my normally sedate husband of 20+ years sidled up to me and licked my neck ( and we were in a restaurant!)
As a side note the 16 oz size is a very good value and is very sudsy and leaves my skin feeling great!

Absolutely great smelling and refreshing!

I just purchased this product and have had it about a month now. Its huge btw, so you get plenty for you money. Its sudsy. And the smell is so orange-y and refreshing. The scent stays on you for about an hr afterwards which is cool. However its not good for shaving with if you like to shave your legs with soap, it doesn't stay sudsy/bubbly on your skin for too long in the shower. You'll need three or four pumps for that. I wouldn't call it super moisturizing either. I still have to use lotion after.

The scent is amazing, however it doesn't lather well at all. I thought it was because I was using it with a washcloth. So I tried it with a loofah and it still took a LOT of soap to get a good lather.

Non-drying

I hae super sensitive skin, and in the winter it gets REALLY dry. This is one of the few body washes that is gentle enough to not strip your skin. It has a pleasant, subtle scent, and I always get compliments on how I smell after using this product. One bottle lasts me about 3 or 4 months because you only need a couple pumps (I use a scrubby loofah to help it lather), so it is a steal at the price.

Too hard to get out of the bottle

This doesn't really foam up enough for my tastes. Also, the pump bottle only dispenses a teeny tiny amount at a time, which is really annoying. It does smell really nice though. I ended up using it as hand soap, the pump dispensed the perfect amount for hand washing.

Very "watery" consistency, does not foam/lather at all, the scent is very light and doesn't last once you get out of the shower. Only reason this gets two stars is because you get a decent amount of product for the price, albeit you have to use a ton just feel clean.

This stuff smells amazing. I love all Bliss products, but this and the corresponding scrub/lotion are my favorites.
Even though the smell is fruity, the pepper keeps it from being to sweet, so my boyfriend loves it on me!

Great smell and cleansing!

Quick Take: scented, great scent staying power, cleans without drying skin
I usually buy this from the Bliss site, but found it in my local Sephora and bought it to get some points. I have always used this body cleanser and LOVED it! My only wish is that the formula was creamier since it doesn't spread very easily on your skin. Therefore, a lot ends up getting wasted. Even so, I still love the cleansing and the smell (lots of compliments from complete strangers) even when I don't wear any perfume whatsoever. If you're in doubt, get the trial size and see for yourself. I promise you'll be hooked.

Quick Take: foamy, lightly scented, a spicy citrus, very energizing
My daughter-in-law gave me a HUGE Bliss package with this shower gel as well as the lotion. I love citrus scents and was disappointed that she hadn't gotten me the one with the lemon/sage scent. I gave this one a try and I love the unusual scent, it very refreshing. It wakes me up in the morning. This is not a scent I would have ever chosen for myself.. The blood orange dominates but the black pepper adds just the right amount of spice to make a lovely combination. The huge bottle of shower gel lasted a year. I am so glad that I found this product and will definitely be buying more..

Looooove the smell. Gets you clean. Tends to come out in a watery blob. No great lather or foam. Other than the fragrance (I'm nuts for the body butter) it was a little on the disappointing side.

i love bliss products and always like to have a shower gel with coordinating body lotion. i was disappointed in this body wash because it is not very sudsy. i find myself using twice as much as necessary to give me any suds and to feel it is effective.

I loved the idea of this shower gel and it lathers up just fine, etc, but if you are drawn to this because of the wonderful sounding scent, think twice. it is a very, very light scent and I am not sure where the 'pepper' comes in to it as really, it is a lightly scented shower gel, that's it.
