THE BEST!!!!- 11.16.09
Quick Take: great product, top of the line, worth every penny
This iron is absolutely amazing and worth every dime. I'm hispanic with somewhat thick curly hair, I always blow dry and then iron. After researching flat irons for a few days I decided to try the Sedu iron first since it was cheaper and had good reviews, it was awful. The Sedu would lose its heat before reaching my ends on every single try. Although I kept the temp below 340 on it I felt it was scorching my hair. The same day I ordered the GHD. It's amazing. It straightened my hair on the 1st or 2nd swipe at most. While, I was really worried that the GHD's lack of temp control would be a problem it was not. It adjusts its temp on its own and perfectly. My ends were left super smooth. While I've never had a problem achieving straight hair, I have never gotten as good results as I have with this iron. My hair is super soft and silkier than ever. All the reviews claiming that their hair would stay smooth and frizz free even in humidity are absolutely true. Normally the slightest amounts of humidity would get my hair poofy and frizzy. After I first straightened with the GHD I spent two days outside not only in humidity but also sprinkles of rain and my hair remained perfectly straight and frizz free. Not sure what technology in the GHD made that possible but it's definitely what makes it the superior product. I found it to be great quality, doesn't feel cheap or flimsy at all. The pink color and case are also really cute. The angel set is cheaper and brings hair styling products but, I wanted a storage case for it. Although this brings no cd, you can find plenty of styling tips for it on youtube. I love this iron and totally recommend buying it. With sephora's free shipping and return on this item you have nothing to lose.

Quick Take: amazing
This styler is the mother of all stylers! It leaves your hair smooth, and shiny. All sylers damage your hair because of the heat, but this stylers damage is minimal. My hair is very dry, relaxed, and prone to breakage so i know when there has been any damage. It is expensive, but it has a 12 month-2 year warranty (depending on the styler you get) through the official ghd website. its the one for the U.S but it is really for all of north america. definetly worth the investment!

Miracle in a box- 10.29.09
Quick Take: fantastic
When my flat iron broke 2 months ago, I reverted to a cheap one thinking it would do the same job. Not! So after extensive research I bought the ghd Styler. On the expensive side, but does it do the job. Wow! It heats instantly and leaves my hair feeling soft. My hair has never looked so good. It is a keeper.

I am a hair stylist, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this iron. No matter how fried the ends of the hair are, it never pulls or hurts. Can get warm on the tip though, so don't grab the tip like you would a curling iron.

Best ever. EVER!- 10.14.09
Quick Take: the best, worth it, fights frizz
Previously owned a Sunbeam straightener then stepped up and bought a GHD about 3 years ago. Best decision I ever made. It's still the greatest straightener and has never let me down.
I recently moved to North America and took it with me but was disappointed that it was only for 230V. Instead of buying a voltage convertor, I saw that they know make dual voltage straighteners and in PINK! Couldn't be happier. It's still the best straightener but includes auto turn off.
This straightener is incredible and I wouldn't settle for anything less. It might be pricey but it is certainly worth every penny.
Also - I love the pink love. The case & hair clips are just adorable.

Quick Take: reliable, great, best hair appliance
My hair is naturally wavy and with all the humidity where I live doesnt help. but as soon as I use the ghd I flipped on how fast it heated up and how straight it got my hair. I went out on a humid day all day and my hair was still straight and perfect. Its the best hair straightener ever. and feels like i just came out of the salon with how smooth it feels. The point is i will never give this up

I bought this iron because of the donation for breast cancer research. When I tried it for the first time i was hooked it heats up so fast! Way better than CHI or FHI I have had those in the past and this one tops both of them. The travel case is lovely, I dont regret spending the 200+ dollars <3

What's not to love?- 09.22.09
Quick Take: perfect
I have been eyeing the GHD's for the last year. I had a CHI that both plates popped out of, so they replaced it for free with a "new" model. The CHI's have really gone down hill. After mass marketing, the quality is nowhere near the older models. Finally got this particular GHD and I am in love!!! It works great, is pink, helps support breast cancer research, like I said, what's not to love? It does not come with the DVD, which I admit I was a little disappointed, but I've heard you can view how-to videos on you tube. You will not be disappointed with this flat iron. My hair is slightly coarse with some wave & this gets it STRAIGHT with 1 pass not 3-4 like I've always had to do before.

Amazing!- 09.18.09
Quick Take: perfect. :)
This styler is seriously amazing. I got it a few days ago for my birthday. It's such a pretty color and the clips work great. And don't even get me started about the actual straightening power of this.. It straightens my hair in like five minutes, unlike my old conair infiniti that took twenty minutes. And i just curled my hair with it for the first time, and i got it the first time! The only thing i didn't understand was why it didn't come with a dvd. I got it from the ghd website so i know it's real, though. Does anyone know if it just doesn't come with one? Thanks. :)
