I'm a fan of Dr. Perricone's products, so I was excited to try Cold Plasma. As I began applying I understood what everyone was talking about, the smell is unbearable, like raw, spoiled chicken. I had to immediately wash it off my face and I could still smell it. No matter how many times I washed my hands, they even stunk! If you can get passed the smell, I'm sure it's a great product, but to me the smell was nauseating.

Incredible and unique

This product was recommended to me for my crazy, combination skin. Hard for me to believe that this one product completely balanced my skin! Helped with pores, redness and dehydrated areas. My mom uses it for all around anti aging and my sister for elasticity (she lost 60 pounds:). I say "unique" because the texture is so lightweight and goes right into my skin. Does not sit on top, which I cannot stand. No one will be disappointed with this product. Worth every penny.

I was skeptical of this product at first...the price and all of the reviews about the smell. I made the investment anyway, as my sister just lost 60 pounds and swears by this brand for helping loss of firmness, red blotchy skin and large pores. More about me, I needed something for all of those things and MORE!! Dry, sun damage....I do not like a lot of stuff on my face, so, I bought the CP, as it is supposed to help EVERYTHING. Boy, does it ever!! After a month, people are asking me what I have had done:) my skin GLOWS!! Smell?? What smell?? Go buy it. NOW

I have tried a plethora of skincare products and I always come back to Perricone MD. I've only ever had visible and positive results with his skincare line, and Cold Plasma is no exception. I am in my early 20's with oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin. I have (had) large pores and an uneven skin texture. I recently had a very bad hormonal breakout that left my jaw and lower cheeks riddled with acne and scarring. I was devastated. I had been using the Citrus Facial Wash and Evening Repair, both fantastic products that helped calm my breakout... But I needed more. I researched Cold Plasma and read a lot of positive reviews from people with acne-prone skin saying it helped them heal and prevent their acne. Upon first application I did notice my acne was less red and irritated, but the immediate results didn't floor me. I used it again twice the next day and night, and by the morning after, almost all my scarring had faded considerably and my existing acne was minimized. I am not exaggerating. Everyone's skin is different, so what may be great for some may not be great for others. Fortunately I have not reacted negatively to any of the ingredients contained in this product. Everything breaks me out so it was a very nice surprise to see this product actually work, instead of making my skin worse. Thank you Perricone, you have made me a very happy woman!

3 Words: Smells Like Fish

I had a sample of this stuff, used it today. Immediately I was put off by the fishy smell. It smells strongly of fish. If you grew up near the ocean or a harbor it might not bother you... but I asked my bf to smell my face and he was like "yeaaaaaah...... it smells fishy". So there you go.
One of my good friends has really bad cirrhosis and the only thing that ever helped her was popping open capsules of fish oil and rubbing it on her skin (helped *remarkably*), so I can see why this stuff would make your skin awesome. Also, in its defense, it goes on light and they did not try to cover up the fishy smell with perfumes.
It's just the smell I can't get over. For how it smells, it should cost half it's price and come with a warning.

This is such a great product. It just does everything the brand promises from complexion to smoothness. It penetrates into skin so well it won't leave film, oiliness or any unpleasant feeling.
As many users mentioned, I also think it smells bad. It actually smells like fish, but it won't last. The effect that this product brings is too great to give up just because of smell!

I saw other reviewers complain of the smell, and I remember thinking that they were overreacting... not so... This might do wonderful things for the skin, but the lingering smell of dirty copper pennies and rotten fish (even after washing your hands repeatedly, it lingers on your fingers, even worse on the face) is unacceptable... I can't tolerate this!

Quick Take: moisturizing
I'm so happy it's 15% off season as I bought my first jar with the last 20% off and ran out 3 days ago. Since then my skin has become ashy, red, dull and impossible to apply make up to. I forgot this is what my face looked like all of the time 3 months ago before I started using this product! The smell isn't so bad, you use a moisture over it anyway so by the time you apply your moisturizer the smell is gone. I have combo skin that is acne prone and aging and this product has stopped anything from getting worse, and calmed 80% of my skin down. Plus I am getting a lot less acne with it.

I am so enamored with this product which I now lovingly refer to as my "lifesaver in a jar"! Since I reached my fifties I have been been combating a lot of signs of aging skin. Because I am a person who likes to keep my life simple I wanted to keep my skin care regime simple as well, without spending too much time and money on my regimen. Cold Plasma is the answer for me. I have been using it every day and night under my moisturizer and all of my aging concerns have dramatically improved! I never imagined one product could help so much!

This is the product I keep coming back to. Every now and then I try to cut it out of my routine to save some dollars, but within a week or two my skin tells me that it was a bad idea. Makes my skin look smooth and glowing, rather than sort of sad and dull looking.

I "used" to have so many issues with my skin until someone at Sephora introduced me to Cold Plasma and Blue Plasma. The combination of these 2 did Magic on me. My skin looks so healthy now. Having beautiful skin gives me a new found confidence. I'll never use another brand again !

I got a sample of this and decided to try it this morning. I was excited to try it as I know it is quite pricy. Too bad I never found out how great a product it was because it smelled SOO bad (like fish) that I kept on gagging and had to wash it off of my face immediately!! If it didn't smell sooo awful, I would be OK with giving it another try.

I rarely give one star ratings. However, I agree with the other reviewers, the smell makes this product impossible to use. It's disgusting, fishy and stays on the face FOREVER! I tried washing it off immediately after applying but the smell was very difficult to get rid off. Since this product is meant to be used on the face, you'll be smelling it all day long. I believe that any product which has such a repelling smell that prevents me to use it, deserves one star.

I think the texture is good for combination skin, I applied it before bed, and wake up with glow skin. However, the smell is awful! So fishy, and it does not go away. I have to breathe with my mouth when applying it. If it could be smell better I will give it 4 star and by the full size, but I won't.
