Beautiful colors and a great size for your purse but they do not go on very easily and they go on very lightly, almost making the color not show up. Considering I paid $18 for the set, it really wasn't worth it...

These eyeliners work great. They go on smoothly and allow you ease up on pull your lids to prevent damage to thin skinned eye area. the case is convienient for travel and all the colors allow you to play artist with your eyes.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE each and every one of these pencils! I have brown eyes and each shade seems to compliment and enhance my eye color. I was afraid they were going to be ridiculously glittery, but they have just a bit of glitter in them. More of a shimmer really. Glide on very smoothly, no tugging at eyelid.

The colors are all really nice, on first use they didn't come on so well, but afterwards they were easy to put on. The blue is the darkest color, all the others are more discreet. They all look really nice, without looking too unnatural. The olive green looks darker on the bottom lashes once you apply it and looks great with olive skin.

I was given this set along with a couple of Cargo Holiday Palettes (which I love and are on sale at half price - check them out). I really like the colors in this set, and they work really well with the Cargo Palettes (Runway and others). I really like the brown and the blue and the green, since I have brown eyes. The plum (eggplant) ends up giving my eyes a somewhat red look, so I gave that one away.(That's not a fault of the pencil - I find that with anything with reddish tones. I just can't report on that color). The colors last a long time. It was a great value for the money before it went on sale, and now, for $9 for five pencils, you won't be able to find a better deal anywhere. I sometimes use a primer and sometimes not. This pencil glides on easily with a primer. The shades can be used as liners, and also as shadows. The colors are intense and well pigmented. I sometimes put a very thin line of green above my normal brown eye liner. I like that effect.
I reviewed this previously but wanted to bring this to your attention because of the sale which makes this a phenomenal value. You're only paying $1.80 per shade, and you're getting a great product for the money. You can't find exceptional pencils like this anywhere else for that amount of money. Frankly, these pencils are well worth quite a bit more.
Since I started using these pencils, I've come to enjoy them even better than originally. One pencil was initially dryer than the others, but once the tip was used, it's been perfect. It might have been drier because of how it was stored in the warehouse - I don't believe it was a manufacturing issue.
Many of the Cargo collections are on sale now, or are available at reasonable costs. They're all exceptional values. You should pick up this set while it's still available, and also check out the other coordinating Cargo collections. Buy them before they sell out because all the collections, including this set can be used all year round. This set of pencils will take you from day to evening with ease. You really won't need any other pencils. You'll love them all.

I ordered these eyeliners as the description was extremely appealing as well as the price. The colors of the pencils are so much better in person-very vivid colors that go onto the eyes with the full intensity. The liner does last a long time with minimal fading or movement-I find that the liners stay on longer with a eye primer. The downfall is that the casing when you sharpen the pencils, the wood breaks into small pieces that makes it hard to sharpen the pencils to a decent point and the hardness of the liner doesn't always allow for smooth gliding of application.

Quick Take: so-so
i have olive skin and these colors look good on it. they are a bit harder than the average pencil, which makes them good for thinner lines. they are surprisingly small, so i don't think i would pay for them again, but they are good for experimenting with colors i suppose.

Love this product. I never finish a whole stick of eyeliner before it goes bad. Not only are these the perfect size but I love that I get so many colors. Always wanted to be one of those ladies who wore different colors but thought it silly to spend all the money when I would never use it all. Well now I feel like I have it all.

The colors of these pencils are great and are good for adding some extra color. The only problem is they can be a little hard to apply to the eye. Besides color they don't offer too much over the typical eyeliner pencils.

Quick Take: dissapointing, prettily packaged
I was so excited to try smouldering Indian inspired eyes! HARDLY, and I do mean hard, these dry little pencils merely suggested their alluring colors after repeated application. I was expecting kohl type texture in deep jewel tones. I got chalky pencil reminders of what could have been.

COLORS ARE GOOD, BUT PENCILS OCCASIONALLY PULL- 01.05.10

I was given this set along with a couple of Cargo Holiday Palettes (which I love). I really like the colors in this set, and they work really well with the Cargo Palettes (Runway and others). I've found that this eye pencil collection sometimes pulls without primer. I've also noticed that one of the pencils seems a lot dryer than the others, which may account for some of the issues I have with it.

I'm giving this four stars because I do prefer those from Urban Decay and Sephora, both of which have really great kits out right now. Those two brands have performed consistently smoother in application although I really like the Cargo colors, too. Since all of the collections are on sale now, or are available at reasonable costs, they're all good values. You should pick the set with the colors you will most likely use the most.

Quick Take: good value
The best colors in this are the dark green, the navy and the purple. They glide on pretty smoothly (I use an eye brightner as a base) and last forever. I've been lining my eyes with the usual brown, then running these bright, fun colors on top of the brown line for some color pop that's different from eyeshadow. A subtle, shimmery neutral shadow tops it out for a fun play on color that doesn't have an overrun 80's color look.
