This product is the perfect finishing touch to even your skin tone or absorb any oil on your face from your foundation. It just leaves a semi-sheer finish that looks really nice, and it stays all day.

I got this as part of Clinique's miniature freebies gift set and I thought I would hate it. But it turns out, it's the finishing touch to my makeup routine. The description is completely accurate. I use this as the last part of my routine: after all of my makeup has been applied, I sweep this over my face with a large blush brush or kabuki and it leaves my complexion looking flawless - my skin looks much less oily/shiny and I don't even notice the powder, it's so light and airy. The description is also right about its lasting only around 8 hours. While I think the product is amazing, I think the price is way too steep. If you're willing to splurge or can get your hands on a freebie, though, I highly recommend this product.

This is my favorite mineral make-up, and I've tried a number of them. It's light yet covers well, and the ingenious container is amazing. You can shave off just enough for the application, or enough for the week. It lasts all day. You can't see it! Love this makeup.

I prefer this over BM due to the color selection (BM doesn't match my skin tone as well) and the mess-free storage. Just shave enough for each use and voila, no messy power all over! Seemed to last longer too. Perhaps because I wasn't wasting it by spilling power. Doesn't cause break outs either- I have very sensitive skin.

I've tried other powder makeups that do not stay on well, but this one does. The container and brush are very convenient and perfect for travel. Quick and convenient to apply over moisturizer and gives good coverage. It's my go-to makeup, especially when in a hurry or traveling.

This powder is amazing. I've used it 3 times and it provides medium coverage that lasts most of the day. I did not have any luck with Clinique facecare but really like this product. I highly recommend it for anyone with combination skin and for those who prefer powder to creamy or liquid foundation

I'm really upset that this product didn't work out. I read the reviews and they all seemed to love this product, unfortunately I did not. I have acne prone skin and while this didn't make me break out, I could tell it was clogging my pores because I was getting a lot of blackheads. It also doesn't last very long. While it was sheer which was nice, the uneven skin tone of my face would become noticeable after about 2 hours of wearing it.

I've been using this powder (in the lightest shade) for two weeks now and I love it. I was on the hunt for a loose powder with light coverage and (fingers crossed!) SPF and I found all three in this product. I'm happy with the light, smooth coverage it provides and love that it blends in easily. I also really, really love that the container allows you to turn the "dial" (for lack of a better term) to grate off a little more powder so you'll never have the problem of powder getting everywhere that can sometimes occur with loose powders. If you're looking for heavier coverage, this might not be for you. I also haven't yet tried it with a foundation so I'm not sure how well it works with that.

Quick Take: the best so far!
I love this stuff! I was using bare minerals for years and tried this. I am very oily and this helps keep the oil's from overtaking my make up. It's light weight. You can use it as a foundation or to set your foundation makeup. The container it comes in is great, it allows you to control how much to put on your brush without clumping your brush and powder flying all over the place.

I have been using Bare Minerals for the past few years and got a sample of this makeup in a gift pack from Clinque last year. I tried it and liked it a lot. I feel it gives me more coverage, yet it is still light and and you don't get that greasy feeling at the end of the day.

I have been using this powder for a few years. I have tried others but always come back to this one!! It feels light, but has enough coverage. The grinder really gives you the best of both worlds... It's as clean as a pressed powder (maybe cleaner because it won't break it you drop it) and also has the benefits of a loose powder. There is a nice range of shades... I go from 2 to five depending on the season!
Overall, a great product and I have no complaints!

I've been using this for almost two years now on a daily basis and I love it, works great with my skin. I have oily (super oily in summer humidity) olive complexion with a few dark spots so I have to use a primer to get anything to stay. Once I do this it stays on nicely. It won't cover everything with my dark spots so I use concealer only where needed and then add this on top. It covers more than I would think for a powder (and last too) and is nice and light to wear. It gives me a nice fresh look that's not over done.

Not really a 'foundation' to wear on its own

I was using this makeup for quite some time. However, lately, I really became dissatisfied on how it was wearing and how it felt on my face after awhile. On me, iI started started to shine after about 2 hours (I have an oily T-zone).
So, while on vacation I was at the drugstore and found a long-wearing CHEAPER brand which I switched to and love! Also, if you read the back of this make-up it mentions that it works best with other shades (specific to the shade you're using) of their other superbalanced makeup - I think the lliquid one. So, to me, it is almost like a finishing powder make-up. In any event, I have switched to a liquid drugstore brand that is about 4-5 times cheaper and I am loving it!!

I really like this powder. As per usual clinique delivers a quality hypoallergenic product that gets the job done. I just didn't really love it. I felt like it was missing something. It was so lightweight it almost felt like there was no make up on my face at all. I also found that I had to reapply part way through the day if I wanted to make it all the way through. I love that it has SPF. I think its a great product.

Good but switching to more natural products

I've used this powder for a few years (and other Clinique powder before that) and like its color, texture,and buildable coverage. However, I'm transitioning to natural/organic brands and now that I'm using Korres loose powder foundation, I find that my skin (acne-prone) is improving.... perhaps the ingredients in the Clinique products were irritating my skin on some level? I'm trying to educate myself more about the ingredients in what we're putting on our skin, as well as what we're putting in our bodies.
