Using the Peacock as a muse, DuWop created six metallic
eyeshadows that are densely pigmented and have a
silky-smooth texture. In shades of deep eggplant, vivid
copper, earthy brown, bright teal, khaki green, and rich
sapphire, there is a something to set off each eye
color. The set also contains Doubglow7 and Cheek Venom
in Cobra, a new shade, to illuminate the skin and bring

This palette is wonderful. The eyeshadow colors are rich and give you an excellent color payoff. The only drawback for me is that Doubglow7 and Cheek shade does not show up on my skin tone. I'd still buy it just for the eyeshadow colors alone, though.

Good color payoff- 01.10.10
Quick Take: good value, high pigment
The shadows in this set are luxurious and have great color payoff. The teal, green, and blue are so great to mix for a unigue color. My only gripe was the Doubleglow and Cheek Venom. Neither one of them showed on my skin color and I just didn't see the value in using them.

I love this eyeshadow pallete. I was looking for some bold colors to add to my make-up collection and this was exactly what I was looking for. This shadow really stands out and stays in place. I like the different possibilities this palette gives me! I would recommend this product to anybody who is looking for something playful. The shimmering balms are a fun plus that I love to add on my cheeks for a super cute look :)

Quick Take: good value, pigment-rich
This is a great selection of pigment-rich shadows. With primer, they last all through a night of fun! You can create many different looks, and the shades are so vibrant. The dual-ended applicator has a regular brush, and a narrow end for lining and smudging.
My only gripe is the DoubleGlow and the Cheek Venom. The DoubleGlow didn't appear to shimmer or brighten very much, and the Cheek Venom, while a lovely rosy pink, didn't last very long.
But if you're looking for fun, bright shadows, this pallette is perfect!

i wish i had gone for the urban decay book of shadows.
the colors are darker than i was anticipating (especially the blue!) and the browns are kinds of ugly for my skin tone (pale w/pink undertones). i bought it for the fun colors and they are only medium fun.

Love the shadows!- 01.09.10

I was going to return this palette as soon as I got it because of the cheap packaging and because I wasn't very impressed with the Doubleglow 7 and Cheek Venom after putting them on. (They didn't really show up on my skin.) But, after I tried on the shadows, I changed my mind. I LOVE the shadows! Especially the two neutral colors on the bottom left. They are highly pigmented, super blendable and easy to apply. The colors are all really pretty, but I can't get over how pigmented they are. Usually, highly pigmented shadows have a lot of fallout when you apply because they are really powdery but these weren't. It was as if applying them wet. These dry shadows had the effect of cream shadows when applied. I love! And because I got this palette on sale, even better! I'm keeping this... too bad these are now out of stock because I'd purchase another.

I purchased this product to give as a Christmas gift. It arrived damaged, the cream blush fell out of the compact. I tried to push it back into place and stuck my finger in the product. Thus, unable to give as a gift since, it looked as if it were used. I kept the compact for my self and had to buy another gift. Beautiful, vibrant color for eyes and subtle color for cheeks with cream blush and highlighter. Great price

So close to perfect.- 01.04.10

Great size palette with huge mirror. Very portable. Too bad the colors were just "meh" on me.
I had read that some found the colors were too light or had too much sparkle and that the brushes were too soft. I respectfully disagree.
The eye colors looked more muted online. They were too intense for my fair coloring. Application worked best for me when I applied with small circular motions with the brush - lots of color but no matter how hard I tried, I just ended up looking "bruised".
I love the "cobra" cheek venom - it worked great as a matte color on the lips too. The "doubleglow" has a wonderful slip to it so there is no pulling or tugging on your skin.
If I were a few shades darker (rather than redhead pale), or in my 20s, this would have so been a keeper. I love the palette itself and almost kept it for the mirror alone.
Returned to Sephora thanks to their fabulous return policy! Isn't it nice not to fear trying new things?
I hope DuWop considers a similar palette with more matte formulations in a neutral color palette. It would be everything I ever wanted (makeup wise) in one place...

A Bit Disappointing- 01.04.10
Quick Take: bold eyeshadow, brown eyes, shimmer eyeshadow
I bought this palette because I thought the colors would accent my brown eyes in a bold, fun way. When it arrived I opened the package to see that the rectangular blush had become loose from the palette. When I used both blushes I was not pleased with them at all. The shades are too light and shimmery for my taste. The more peachy shade had what seemed to be an oily material sitting on the top of the color, which was not pleasant at all. I have tried all six eyeshadows and like them very much. Highly pigmented and bright, they have just the right amount of shimmer and color-fastness. Overall, I am pleased with the shadows, but I feel the price is a bit high for the poor quality blushes. I would purchase DuWop shadows again, but will look for blushes elsewhere.
