not as good as the discontinued Dior Hydrating...- 03.15.10
Quick Take: full coverage
For some weird reason, they discontinued the one i was using (prior to this one). The color is a bit light for me (compared to the last version) and this is now more expensive based on cost per weight. seems pretty good though
This concealer felt fine on. It was layerable which was nice. It didnt cover pimples at all but was good for undereyes. The big problem was that the color selection is awful. There are basically no choices of colors and 002 didnt match me well.
I was a huge fan of the moisturizing long-last concealer from Dior, but it's been discontinued. I tried this hoping it'd have some of the same properties, but unfortunately, it fell far short. It was greasier and thinner so by noon my mascara smeared all over it. Please bring back the other one, Dior!
I have been using this concealer for the past 3 years. I have never switched since I've found it. It stays on for a long period of time and never gets dry or flaky. It really is hydrating but never oily or shiny! This is a great investment too!
Not heavy so I'm not sure if it will cover big spots or problems. Good for dry skin, but don't use it under eye because all your eye make up will be down there.
This is such a super concealer & illuminator in one. The finish is very natural & soft looking, it reflects off without looking shiny, creating a perfect look. So hydrating & soft, it feels like it is improving the skin with wear. I love it!
I had a difficult time deciding between the Porcelain and Beige colors! They blended so well, even though they were noticably different out of the tube! I opted for the Porcelain. I couldn't be happier. It blends well, illuminates, dewy yet a powder like finish. I don't even know how that is possible! So flawless. Wonderful product!
I purchased this in the lightest and second lightest color, and ended up just keeping the lightest since the next one up was actually quite a bit darker. This is a gorgeous concealer - I don't use it for blemishes but rather under my eyes. It is not thick or the "ultimate" coverage, as they claim, but it blends very silkily into your skin and leaves no lines where it blends into your foundation. The finish is incredibly natural looking and fresh, light with a definite dewiness, like the foundation of the same name. I use it under my eyes both with and without luminizer, and the results are so pretty. Like others have mentioned, however, this only lasts a few hours before it creases a bit. The very "dewiness" of it instead of a concrete finish works against it over time as it gets too moist. I love it, regardless, and love how it makes my skin look, even if it doesn't completely camouflage my dark circles.
This product was a big let down and major dissapointment. It leaves creases and does not stay put as it lasts only about 30 minutes. You have to keep reapplying..... Overall, I would not have given even one star.
I love the texture and the coverage of this concealer, but I wish they had more shade options. The ivory is too light, and the beige is slightly too dark. If you're lucky enough to find a matching shade I definitely recommend. It goes on smoothly and feels light, yet provides really nice coverage for undereye circles.
Good...not the same as their discontinued conclr- 02.09.10
Quick Take: lightweight, non-drying
I've used Dior's moisturizing concealer for 12 years (the one in the blue tube). I have huge blue circles under my eyes and it was the ONLY one that worked to perfection. It was recently discontinued - both Sephora and Dior said that it was replaced by this one. Well, the colors are just not the same. And the coverage is good, but not as pigmented as the "old" version. I had to go fishing at all the Dior counters and stock up on the old one.
This product "moves" all day long, if you want to touch up multiple times a day, this is for you. I personally have gotten better coverage for half the price.
Quick Take: full coverage, lightweight, non-drying
I got this concealer from a friend because the color was too light for her. I used it once and was hooked and my mom went right out and bought it too. We both love it!
