when i first tried it i liked the coverage it gave, natural looking and lightness of it. HOWEVER whenever someone would take a picture of me, i would come out looking like a horrid dead person.... my face looked like it was dead with no pigment even after using blush and a all that... yuck.. no thank u

Great product, weird reaction.- 11.20.09
Quick Take: moisturizing
Great product; great coverage. The purpose was to cover redness of the face, which worked well, however when taken off, my face becomes abnormally red, but not to a large extent. Not sure whether the reaction is produced from the brush or from the foundation, or if it's normal. Overall makes skin look virtually clean and air brushed in a good way.

Feels Nice- 11.19.09
Not Heavy and Light Weight Liquid is ALWAYS a great start i think. Does the perfect touch of coverage however i feel as tho my "wrinkles" show more around my mouth and forehead..im 22! Still looking for that miracle formula i guess =]

Quick Take: brightening, long lasting
this foundation is amazing! The sephora assistant recommended it to me and I figured I wouldnt like it, but Im hooked!. It brightens my face and evens out my skin tone perfectly. It also lasts from 6am when I'm getting ready for work till I get back home at 8pm. It doesnt make my skin oily and my skin looks bright and fresh all day! I dont even have to touch up during the day!

I'm really liking it.- 11.18.09
Quick Take: medium coverage, matte, good for oily skin
I originally wanted to get the sheer matte, because i have oily skin. I wasn't even thinking of looking at this one. I tested the sheer matte out.. and it seemed very sheer and a little bit like it settled into lines. So i tested this one. To my surprise it covered more (medium, buildable) and was very matte aswell. It isn't glowy! I personally like it, fits my needs. My skin was much less oily today when i wore it. I got punjab.. which is suitable for my skin color. It is yellower, not much peachy shade in it. The sephora rep said that most of the colors are yellow. So if that won't work for you.. you probably won't find your color. I'm pretty pleased. My face looked so clean and fresh. Compliments: YES! PS, make sure you moisturize and exfoliate well (as you always should).

Not what I was looking for...- 11.13.09
From the reviews I thought this was going to be better than MUFE F&B. I bought it because of the reviews and the fact that it was fragrance free. It wasn't as sheer as MUFE and my skin just looked dead not glowing. I decided to return this and stick to MUFE. It may work for someone wanting more coverage.

too matte, flakes and settles into pores- 11.12.09

I have been using Nars foundation for a year and when this new formula came out I received a sample that I tried out over a week. I was very unimpressed with this product. It offers no "glow". In fact, it made my skin look matte, dull, caked, and dry. It was flaky and did not go on smoothly. It might be good if you need very heavy coverage and apply a separate "shimmer glow" product on top of it. But, I ended up switching to the Fresh Umbrian Clay Freshface foundation which works like a dream.

Bad Dry Matte Foundation- 11.11.09
Quick Take: very very drying, heavy
No glow! Goes on matte and dry. How can they say this is for very dry skin. Impossible! It's so matte and dry, creases and sticks to very dry patch. My Lunasol Cream foundation is way superior to this cheap looking stuff.

I find this has better coverage than its matte counterpart - which if I'm going put on top of a moisturizer, I might as well not bother - but it's still too sheer for me. Still, I like it because it's not as "glowy" (read: oily) as other moisturizing fdts.

HORRID!- 11.04.09
Quick Take: heavy mask like coverage
background to me: great skin, prefer light textures/coverage. Prefer foundation that lets skin breathe...This is THE worst foundation I've ever used!!! Heard it was better than DiorGlow - not at all - I tried bot the glow and the matte (one on each side of the face) and can say both were equally bad - HEAVY...and ironically enough the Glow side looked heavier than the matte! Total Mask Like face! My sephora didn't carry it in the store, so I applied it at Neiman - walked into Sephora and asked a few beauty advisers what they thought - They were as horrified as I was - cakey, heavy, bad texture (even when applied lightly).

Quick Take: dry's pretty quick
Okay...so I bought it....I read all the good reviews...and I had so many hopes on it...that it broke my heart and I return it...!! Yeah...I didn't like it...Well it's not glowy which is good cause I have oily skin...but it too matte & it's cacky!! I tried to apply it different ways and it didn't work...It might work different on everyone but My Latina Complextion....ohhh no....it was a big nonono

This foundation color didn't exactly match my NC42 skintone so I ended up purchasing Tahoe, but the formula is amazing:) Makes my skin look satiny smooth:) I love it! Best part is that it evens out the skintone, so its good to wear it:)

LOVE THIS FOUNDATION! I always stuck to MAC foundation and makeup but recently ive been using nars ALOT and recently this foundation. It's truly amazing:) It makes my skin look nice and smooth and really evens out my complexion. It's a tad too yellow when i first put it on, but under a snap of a picture...looks like im not wearig anything! Im an nc 42 in mac and Tahoe was the closest match. I tried the one below, syracuse, but it look a bit ashy when i snapped a pic.

Nice lightweight product and decent texture...though one thing I dislike is that it really clings to any dry patch you may have and tends to really emphasize it more than other foundations I've used. Please note that you may be two full shades "darker" (in name) than their other foundations. I'm usually Fiji and I figured I would be safe with Ceylan (1 shade darker)..but NO, and now I must return this just to get Punjab (2 shades darker). Total pain since I have to order online.

Quick Take: moisturizing
i ordered this shade online and was a little hesitant about ordering foundation that i've never used. But as soon as it arrived and i used it for the first time i loved it. It's not hard to put on at all and doesn't feel cakey. It gave me the minimum coverage that i needed without feeling like i put a mask over my face. It glows very nicely and i think does an over all awesome job. The only complaint is that this shade was a little more yellow then i thought it was going to be, but i suppose that was my fault.

Quick Take: great coverage, light weight, goes on smoothly
this is a great foundation, i orginally bought the nars sheer matte foundation and the lightest colour was still too dark for me and it looked terrible so i exchanged it for this foundation and i love it! I bought the lightest shade and its perfect for my fair skin :) it gives awesome coverage and doesnt make my skin oily by the end of the day, nore does it dry my skin! i'll definitely keep buying this foundation!
