Quick Take: long wearing
I'm a 40 something, african american woman. I was shocked how great Macao looked on me and how little I needed. It looks awesome with NARS albatross blush. I've had so much trouble with make-up with sunscreens, and the hazy look I have. Love it, love it!

Quick Take: long wearing
I used Clarins foundation until their whole line went SPF. I'm allergic to SPF. I started using this foundation almost 2 years ago and have been very happy with it ever since. It stays on all day and coverage is good without making your face look caked. I have a lot of trouble finding foundations that have no SPF and I hope NARS continues to keep their foundations free of SPF!

Quick Take: buildable coverage, oil-free, long wearing
I was origanlly really fascinated with the lock it tattoo by kat Von d but was tired of waiting around since they were out of stock! So the sales rep suggested I try this Nars foundation and as soon as she put it on it was flawless perfect match and look incredibly natural like I was wearing nothing I highly recommend it to anyone looking for minimal to deep coverage very good product!

Quick Take: oil-free
I love this foundation, it gives a beautiful finish and looks amazing in photos. The only reason I kept one star off, is the coverage isn't as beautiful if you try to build it up, but it starts with light to medium so I use a little concealer if I have any major issues that day, and it's not long wearing at all. I get maybe 5-6 hrs max out of it.

I am a big fan of Dior tinted moisturizer/bb creme, but wanted a bit more coverage. This is soooo good! Light and sheer, but takes out the redness and blotchiness. It doesn't last through the day, but i've never found a foundation that does.

Quick Take: buildable coverage
I am always in search of the perfect foundation. For some reason with my skin tone, most brands tend to oxidize into a pinkish orange mess. I also have fairly dry skin that tends to flake with most formulations.The color on this stays true all day long. That being said, this is far from sheer or glowy. If applied with a heavy hand it can become mask like. I like to apply with my fingers first and then blend in with a brush for a more sheer appearance.

This is the best foundation I have ever tried. I have dry skin and acne scars across my cheeks. This foundation gives the perfect amount of coverage without looking cakey. I love the finish of it!

Quick Take: accentuates dryness, dewy
The color match here is perfect. I have very light skin so I bought Siberia and it was spot on. I also liked the slight dewy finish it gave my skin. The only issue I have is it seems to make dryness on my skin obvious. Maybe when my skin isn't so dry I'll give it another go, but for now my conclusion remains.

Quick Take: buildable coverage
Recently went thru trying several different brands/types(MAC, Loreal, UD etc...) of foundation and after terrible colors and a hideous cycle of break-outs, I ultimately came back to NARS Sheer Glow. I find the coverage perfectly light but buildable. I will not stray ever again!

This product gives great coverage without being cakey or shiny. If I'm in a hurry, sometimes I'll wear this with mascara and no other makeup, and I still look put together. By far, the best foundation I've ever used.

I bought this foundation in Siberia. It was a nice color match so I gave it 2 stars because there are a lot of brands that don't have shades fair enough for me. I do not have overall dry skin. I do however get some dry patches on my central cheeks and under my eyes sometimes. Surprisingly, this foundation really exacerbated this. I didn't even powder and I expected this to lessen throughout the day as my natural oils came through. However, it did not. Unfortunately, this foundation doesn't make my skin look nice from up close so I returned it.

Siberia: a little goes a long way

Like a few others have said previously, my fair Irish skin is too light for the slightly darker/pink undertone Mont Blanc. Despite the fact that I have a pink undertone and Siberia is for those w a more neutral/yellow undertone, this shade does look pretty natural on me. However, I only use a little, and only where I need coverage for blemishes (I add concealer afterward). Otherwise, my skin ends up looking yellow and unnatural. So, while this isn't the perfect shade for me, it's better than others and does the job.

Quick Take: buildable coverage
I'm the type of person who is willing to splurge on foundation. I try a new one out every time I'm in need of a replenishment, always in search for the "perfect" foundation. I haven't found my perfect match yet, but the Nars Sheer Glow Foundation comes close.
I have acne prone skin and suffer from post-acne hyper pigmentation. I was worried that this foundation wouldn't have enough coverage to hide my imperfections but it covers them amazingly. The glow it gives is perfect doesn't make me feel oily/shiny.
I definitely feel like you get what's advertised with this foundation, I never feel like I have a face full of makeup and I like how I still look very natural. People have been commenting on my skin ever since I started using this.
I would definitely repurchase this foundation this summer when I get tan. It'll work very well for warm humid days.
The only reason I give this foundation a 4/5 stars is because it doesn't seem to last more than 5 or 6 hours and I need my foundations to last 8+ hours.
I definitely recommend trying this foundation out for yourself.

First of all, I have combo oily skin and I decided to try this because I tend to like the healthy, dewy look. Since this is for dry skin, I figured that it wouldn't cling onto any dry patches. WRONG! I tried using using my fingers, a sponge, and different brushes and this would emphasize any dry parts -- even with moisturizer on! And if I use a really moisturizing moisturizer or a primer.. this gets cakey by the end of the day.. It also just doesn't seem to blend into the skin.. and it doesn't come with a pump!!

i have Nars sheer glow in Barcelona and Stromboli,the shades are both amazing and the texture and coverage is awesome,the one and only thing i would change is that i wish this came with a pump,i would even buy a pump separately if they were available! anyhoo,i def recommend it =]

I think this foundation might sink into my pores so that you see little white dots on my nose. I'm heartbroken since this is one of the few foundations that has my shade - "Gobi" for very fair with yellow undertones / Asian skin. I'm experimenting like crazy with Porefessional and Primed & Poreless. I always wear primer, especially Smashbox & Hourglass. We'll see what happens, because I'm determined to make this work.

I don't like the look or feel of heavy make-up yet I want (& need) some coverage, additionally, I have senstive skin. This is very comfortable and both lasts & wears well. I've tried a number of different foundations and have been using this pretty exclusively for 1 1/2 yrs now. I really like it!

A glowing foundation - looks good in photos! Starts looking shiny after a few hours, so I suggest powdering. I have good skin so I can't say if it accentuates flaws. Very light coverage. I don't recommend using a beauty blender because it sheers the foundation out even more.
