Pretty Good- 11.19.09
Quick Take: light weight, true to color
I am STILL looking for that prefect Foundation! lived by cliniques perfectly real foundation for awhile and just wanted to see if theres something better. This foundation is pretty good matched my olive skin well and doesn't oxidize nor change color with my tzone oills I would recommend this but i do feel that my facial lines show more then they should be if its a sheer coverage

I have to say this is the first bomb review I've given which surprises me coming from a brand like NARS. I tried deauville first because i'm light but not translucent. Well it was to yellow which was fine because with products like Dior I have to go with the lightest color. I then went to Siberia and it made me look like a ghost. I find it ridiculous because my skin is not hard to match. It also it very thin the first application and then gets too much if you go back over it. It would be good for people with oily skin but for those with normal or dry skin I would stay away because it becomes chalky looking very quickly. I was really disappointed.

Feels great on skin- 11.19.09
Quick Take: light, good for normal to oily skin, creamy, goes on easily
I just purchased this foundation yesterday and I have to say that I really liked it. The sales associate in the store put it on for me and it gave me good coverage and it didn't feel heavy. One downfall: I am prone to acne and it didn't cover up the acne spots as well as I had hoped even though I was also wearing a concealer.

Too sheer- 11.11.09
I have a sample of this and find it waaaay too sheer. I like full coverage since my skin is not perfect and this one won't do. I have the original matte which is much better. It looks a lot better when I put a mineral powder on it. I also got a sample of the glowy one and that has much better coverage.
This foundation is the best I have ever used. The coverage is sheer to medium and I prefer using with a brush versus 'warming up' first in my fingers, as recommended. My skin is excessively oily and have never before now found a foundation that lasts all day and minimizes shine and the size of my pores. The key is start with a good primer and to finish with NARS loose powder. All in all, the Sheer Matte Foundation is much better than the oil-free version it superseeded and offers my skin the exact finish I have been looking for.

Overall, I really like it. The foundation does'nt move and it doesn't make my t-zone as shiny as a regular foundation would. prvoide good coverage. defintely a good buy!

I bought both the sheer glow and sheer matte and they are both great. The sheer matte looks nice and smooth, not at all mask like. It lasts all day long, absorbs oils and I didn't even use a powder! I found the shade range really excellent, great foundation overall.

So my original intent was to buy the Nars oil free foundation but they didn't have it at the sephora near me so I bought this one instead cause it too was oil free and I do like that matte finish but this foundation was wayyy to matte for my liking.. it made my face look kind of cakey plus I have very fair skin and the lightest shade was still too dark for me and too yellow but it does give pretty good coverage, i'll give it that.

Nice coverage- 10.06.09
Quick Take: feels light and comfortable
First off, I like this foundation because it's not heavy but yet covers well and feels very comfortable! I purchased this over the SG because I have an oil tzone. However, this does not keep me matte all day. In fact, I don't think it mattifies at all. Still though, because I don't normally wear foundation, I do like wearing this one. Barcelona is my shade!

Quick Take: smooth look, non-masking
Very good foundation, buildable coverage, still sheer looking without masking my face. I am using "deauville" color, it is perfect color! I am somewhere yellow/pink it is good one! My nose is little oily after 1:30 pm I put on at 7:00 am! Very good stuff! and does not make my skin burn like other foundation did. My skin is very oily, acne prone and sensitive skin. I am very happy this is what I am looking for! :)

This is HG foundation for me. I have EXTREMELY oily skin (insert oil slick here). I used this foundation and set it with Mac MSF Natural or MUFE HD Powder. I did not have to touch up for about 2 hours. Two hours is awesome for me, I usually have to touch up oiliness after 30-45 mins. The foundation is lightweight and gives medium coverage. It keeps oiliness at bay, while offering a semi-matte finish. The liquid melts into the skin, giving a flawless finish. Unfortunately, sephora does not offer my color. I am Mac NW 47, MUFE HD 180, MUFE Mat+ velvet 85, and I wear Tortugua in this foundation. Sephora only offers about 75% of the colors offered.

What a great matte foundation! This stayed matte matte from morning to evening. Also controlled oiliness and lasted well throughout the day. I don't have very oily skin to begin with but it worked pretty well with the skin I do have & I'm very happy with the color match. Please ask an associate/product specialist for a color match & samples! I set this with mineral veil (or any powder will do) for a long lasting finish.
