Kat Von D has put into this awesome set of lipsticks my big belief on lip colour: Every woman needs a red, nude, and wine shade in their makeup wardrobe. The only thing that I would change is the red, but that's because "Underage Red" is a better suited colour for me. (I have warmer undertones, so UR is a better match.)

I love these colors. They're exactly what I was looking for. The colors are pretty bright, (especially the red and purple) but if you want your lips to be noticed, then these are defenitely the colors to get. The cases are really nice and the lipsticks themselves smell good.

I absolutetly love these lipsticks! Hellbent is my new favorite!! I was almost a little afraid to try it on at first because it looked so dark in the tube but its the most perfect darkish sheer berry color, and it lasts!

These lipsticks are long lasting and the pigments are great. I love the nude and red color but the dark one made me look like a vampire and not in a good way and i love dark plums but this one was a little on the goth side for me.

For all those fair skinned girls out there like me who think the red & burgundy colors are too dark, try using a lipbrush when applying. Trust me you will be glad you did because you can give yourself a stained look.

Tried one of the other colors and it was just as I hoped -- great coverage, beautiful matte stain that lasted a long time. I don't know what happened with that one lipstick, but the others seem just fine.

The plum color is VERY dark, perfect for the Goth look, if that was your intent, and the red is so bright and stains your lips...it looks like you have flourescent fushiscia on your lips from back in the 80s. A bit difficult to get off. But the nude is perfect! I wish it were a bit more creamy, seems a bit dry.

I was psyched to try these colors. I was really hoping for a strong matte look -- but when I tried one of them (Homegirl), the lipstick only seemed to adhere to the outline and crevices of my lips -- everything else just faded. I didn't have any balm on or anything, and my lips weren't dry, either. I have no idea what's up with this stuff, but it looked weird. I had to really slather it on to make it look uniform. So disappointing.

Wanted to LOVE these, but just "Meh"

Quick Take: not what it appears, saturated color
Apparently I am not cultured enough when it comes to lipsticks, I wanted a true red and a darker wine/plum color. I can live with lightest color for a daily nuetral pink, but Hellbent was a crazy hot pink. Loved Homegirl, but I can't justify keeping the set for one color.
I still give it 4 stars because the color is really saturated (which I loved) but I'm just not a "pink" girl...just not what I was looking for.
