Quick Take: silky
This is the only hand cream that has actually made a difference. My hands were softer and smoother and, yes, younger looking. I'm in my sixties so that's saying something!

Clarins hand and nail treatment cream

Quick Take: skin-softening, soothing, moisturizing, not greasy and is has a pleasant scent
This is my "go to" hand cream when I want to splurge. It is pretty expensive but every now and then Sephora offers the smaller size for $10 which is easier to justify. It's one of the best I've ever tried, and I have tried hundreds.

Not greasy smells lovely. Did nothing to stregthen my nails. I am basing this on thefact that after using for a week, my nails still chipped and weren't any stronger.

Truly Works
-04.30.13
Quick Take: soothing, moisturizing, strengthening
I just bought my second tube of this, and really like the results. My nails had grown incredibly weak, as I get weekly manicures and my nails rarely see the light of day. I decided to remove my polish for a month, and purchased this product to see if it could help strengthen my weekend nails. It did just that! I do have to apply it multiple times a day after handwashing, but after about two weeks my nails were remarkably strengthened and I like to the consistency of the lotion for daily use. I don't particularly like it at bedtime, as it's not quite rich enough. That said, it makes it the perfect hand lotion to use during the day. It absorbs quickly while leaving your hands and nails moisturized. What more could you want from a day hand lotion? Note that I do use the Clarins SPF hand treatment over this.

Absolutely AMAZING!!!
-03.23.13
Quick Take: skin-softening, moisturizing, non-greasy
My hands get extremely dry. I've tried everything and most would relieve the dryness for a few hours, then it would be right back. Clarins hand cream relieved my dry hands for good! They are so soft, smooth, and beautiful! And its non-greasy which makes it extra perfect!

worth the $$$

Quick Take: strengthens nails, reduces cuticles, smooths hands
This is a great hand cream. Leaves nails strong, conditions cuticles, and leaves hands soft. The first few days you use it the dead skin will start to peel off around the nails, just leave it alone, and within a few days you will have nice, smooth hands and nails.

Clarins Hand and Nail Cream

Quick Take: my miracle in a tube--
I've tried MANY products for my hands. My hands are dry nearly year round. Most are greasy, sticky, sting and turn my hands red. Even some organic formulas. But not this cream. It absorbs quickly and doesn't sting or turn my skin red. I love the soft, smooth and non greasy finish. PLEASE don't take this off the market EVER!!

I love this hand lotion. It doesn't have any perfume-y scent, and it moisturizes without leaving a greasy film, and lasts all day. Perfect for dry, cracking hands in the dead of winter.

Not moisturizing at all
-02.07.13
I bought the smaller size bottle and I am really disappointed in it. I apply the lotion and within a few minutes my hands feel dry and as if I've never put any moisturizer on at all. I've never had this problem with other hand creams of all price points, and I don't even have dry skin, so it shouldn't take much to make my skin feel good.
Additionally, the smell is not good. After using it for several months (I finished the bottle today) I still could never get used to the scent.

Love!
-02.01.13
Quick Take: skin-softening, moisturizing, nail strengthening, scented, rich, gentle
The smell is ... well, a bit old fashioned, let's say? But! The product is amazing. A little goes a long way, and my hands feel soft and supple and if I use it between manicures, my nails look so much healthier! It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a gross residue like a lot of rich lotions do.

shiny, healthy nails
-01.17.13
Quick Take: good for nails, cuticle control, softens hands
I used to use Fresh Sugar Blossom Hand Treatment, which was the best hand creme in the world, but Fresh quit making it. This is the second best hand creme in the world. Use at least twice a day, it makes nails hard and shiny, helps control cuticles, and softens hands. Do not be dismayed when you first use it, the old skin will start to peel off, don't pick at it, and the old will slough off, leaving nicer, softer hands.

Best hand lotion
-12.30.12
Quick Take: non-greasy, conditioning
This by far is the best hand lotion that I have tried this year. It is non- greasy with a faint fragrance. It hydrates your hands and conditions your nails. I will purchase this hand lotion in the future.

My favorite hand cream
-12.27.12
This is my fourth bottle of this product. I like the citrusy scent and tend to keep a small bottle for travel and a larger one for the bathroom/bedroom. It's not sticky at all.

nice on nails
-12.18.12
Quick Take: softening, hydrating, smoothes cuticles, strenghtens nails
I was heartbroken when Fresh stopped making Sugar Blossom Hand Treatment. I thought I would never find any cream to compare, but this one is a close second. Nails and cuticles stay nice, and skin is softened. Since Fresh topped making the other one, this is the best hand cream I can find on the market. I tried out four other hand treatments until I settled on this one. It is thick at first, but soaks in right away. The smell is bearable.
