Good dry shampoo. Only one I've liked other than Klorane's. But my hair isn't ever greasy- even after days, so I use this for texture and body. I think it would soak up oil well, hough
Quick Take: good value, okay product, gross scent, lasts a while
This kit is a good value as the regular size (3.2 oz) normally goes for $24 and the travel size (1.2 oz) for $12. Unfortunately, I just thought the product itself was okay. I have naturally jet black hair and as with many of the dry shampoo's out there, it leaves a white residue. I have to wet my fingers and rub it out or rinse it out to be sure there's no residue left. That's not what I want to deal with and what's the point of dry shampoo if you have to use water? Those with lighter colored hair may not have to deal with that problem as much--lucky you!
I also don't particularly like the scent. I reminds me of Dr. Scholl's odor absorbing spray for your shoes! Luckily it does go away.
I have had no problems with the nozzle clogging as I leave my can underneath the bathroom sink. The other one travels from the house, in my gym bag, and in my suitcase if I'm going away. I have had many uses with the 3.2 oz at least 10+, for sure. I just aim for the problem spots which are usually the roots.
Of all the dry shampoos I've tried (Rene Furtere, Oscar Blandi Pronto powder, and Klorane) I think this and Klorane are the best (but they're not great!). They are both similar in that they both get Sephora's Natural seal, similar scent and similar problems (white residue). As much as I hate the hassle of wetting my hair, it's still more convenient then shampooing my hair sometimes so I will continue to use. It's a great concept, I just wish they would improve on it a little more.
Forget Oscar Blandi!!!! Use This INSTEAD!- 02.23.10
Quick Take: blends easily, great scent
This is the best dry shampoo product I have tried yet. Even compared to the best selling Oscar Blandi (which in my opinion smells like flea powder!!!). This shampoo is beige colored, so blends much more easily than the other white products. It also has a yummy fresh scent (not floral or chemical) and leaves hair looking just washed!
On my second bottle. I've tried one other dry shampoo (T3 refresh) and this one definitely is better. I have dark hair and the powder is white-ish, which was worrisome, but if you just brush it in well, you can't tell. The only complaint is that the quantity is a bit low for the price. I have long hair, and it just takes a good amount for the greasies to go away, and soon enough I'm halfway through the bottle. which is why i like the free travel sized one that cames with it.

Quick Take: a little expensive for its performance
of course, i absolutely loved the travel size "gift" that came along with my purchase, and the shampoo does, i suppose what it's supposed to do...but i find myself really missing the klorane brand that my sephora store used to carry. the futerer brand makes my hair so dry that it just looks like a frizz ball for a good half hour after application (with varied amounts of product used), and i don't prefer the colored powder: if you're not careful, it will show in your hair.
I love this stuff! It works wonders to "refresh" my hair the second day after a shampoo. It also makes hair easier to style and lends volume! Has been a life-saver a couple of times when my daughter managed to skip her daily bath:)
Quick Take: good value, smells great, questionable ingredients
Of all the dry shampoos hands down this one smells the best. I had to find one that was appealing to me because I suffer from intense migraines from a brain tumor and because of this, am in the hospital a lot. Not being able to wash your hair is absolutely enough to drive u mad so when I found this and it was a package deal I was a happy camper. I really have no complaints until I read the ingredients. It's like lighter fluid on ur hair. Luckiky in the hospital I didn't attempt to style my hair I just wanted it to smell clean, look clean, and be fresh. How much heat could it withstand after I sprayed it??? Does anyone know? I'm really concerned! Other than that I really do think it's a beauitful product and it made my hair clean and voluminous. It smells fantastic and really didn't make it dull but shiny and tangle-free. I recommend it if ur in a similar situation and can't wash your hair and would like an easy alternative. But beware the ingredients are literally butane and other questionable weird products we all know that most straightening irons get to settings of insanely high temps I just don't want anyones hair going up in smoke!

Best Spray on Dry Shampoo- 01.27.10
Quick Take: good value, doesn't clog
I've tried many spray shampoos. Most clog up right away. The Rene Furterer dry shampoo is wonderful, it has yet to clog up on me. It adds volume on clean hair & helps clean dirty hair. I use it almost everyday so I don't have to shampoo so often.
I am loving this product. I have used other dry shampoos but this one is better because it is lightweight and lasts all day. I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend this product to others.
This dry shampoo works great! It will allow you to skip a day in washing your hair. I will not order it again though because of a problem with the spray can. I ordered 3 bottles and only got one use out of each bottle. It seemed to evaporate after the first use. I accused everybody in my house of using it and then finally realized there is a problem with the spray can.
I only used this twice and it ran out. There is a problem with the can for sure. I had some left in the can and I went to use it later and it had evaporated. Way too expensive for only two uses.
I have the greasiest hair on earth. If I don't shampoo it every single day, it looks like bacon strips. This stuff buys you a day. My only gripe is that one can had something wrong with the pump and it sprayed the powedery stuff all over my hand. Make sure you double check your collar for "dust"- just rub the fabric on itself and it'll be fine.
I found that this dry shampoo helped me extend the life of my blow-outs by a day or so. I like that it left no buildup... however I do wish that it had a better smell. I love the fact that it came with a bonus travel-size bottle too! Yay!

better than baby powder- 01.08.10
ive tried many dry shampoos and this one seems to be the best. i'll be re-reviewing this product in the summer when the real greasies hit me up. Otherwise i like the aerosal, much better than just sprinkling dust all over my head which can wind up in clumps and just uneven in distribution. This is great for texturizing as well. when you want an advanced elaborate updo, this is your secret weapon
I bought this product to extend the life of my blowout. But I didn't really get the chance to see if it worked and maybe there was a problem with the nozzle, but I used it once and when I went to use it again, the can was empty. I only had it one week. Maybe the can was defective?
