I bought this after trying samples; I was told that it would improve my undereye puffiness and darkening. So far I really haven't seen an improvement but do admit to not using it every single day so that might be the problem. A little goes a long way so this will last a very long time.
I'm a cynic about these anti-aging/eye treatment types of things, but I tried a free sample and immediately ordered more. The sample made me look like I'd slept serenely for 9 hours. In reality I had a cold and slept about 3! It's not moisturizing, but It's not advertised as a moisturizer (an unfair complaint in some of the reviews).
This is just ok. After a month of use, twice a day (am and pm), I can't tell any difference in my under eye circles or fine lines. It takes a while to sink in, so use a tiny amount in the morning..
I have been using this over a month, and have noticed a slight difference in the fine lines around my eye area. It goes on very nicely, and is well hydrating. However, it did not for my dark circles and my puffiness (although I don't think it was supposed to do anything for puffiness). I am still on a quest to find the best eye cream!
have not seen the lines diminsh on me but it works beautifully on my friend. This product feels good and keep me mosturized all day...like it alot and am hoping that it willl prevent new lines while minimizing the appearance of existing lines...it's all about prevention
I have been using this eye cream over Perricone MD Ester C Eye Serum for about a month now and have noticed a difference in my fine lines, puffiness and darkness around my eyes. After I am through with this jar I will repurchase until I find the perfect eye cream (which probably doesn't exist), until then this will be my new HG!
Didn't do much for me. It was good for moisturizing, but it did absolutely nothing for dark circles or lines. My eyes actually started to look worse. Still looking for that moisturizer to reduce the dark circles....
This is an average cream that is overpriced. I received a sample and used it for about 1 wk. There is a nice tightening effect around the eyes but that is about it. I like a richer cream which this is not. It is a light cream that lightly moistens the eye area. It reduces puffiness a hair but what about the dark circles? Try the Nude Skincare Eye cream. Also pricey but it worked better for me.
Smooth and rich, I loved how it was absorbed. But I got a small milium after using this sample (about 3-4 days usages, morning and night twice a day). I think this was too rich for my skin and my age. Usually you get milium if your eye cream is too intense for you.
I'm 42, and this winter has really taken its toll on my skin here in the Northeast. The skin under my eyes - for the first time - looked crepey and nothing I was using (Olay, Philosophy, L'Oreal) was working to take away that uh-oh-I'm-getting-older look. Until I tried a sample of Genifique! It came with a Sephora order, and thank goodness I tried it! It is a gel-like creme, and applies well. Takes a bit to sink into skin, but boy does this stuff work. I have purchased the full size - and it is worth every penny. I apply night and day and it definitely tightens and diminishes the look of my fine lines & wrinkles around my eyes. This is my go-to eye creme!
the mixture between cream and gel makes it feel sooo good on skin! i've been using it for about 2 weeks and have seen slight changes, such as my dark circles visibly getting a little lighter, but nothing drastic. it didn't magically remove any fine lines. i have dry-ish skin and yet, i found it to be a little too oily for me.
I got a sample of this with a previous sephora.com purchase and absolutely fell in love! This eye creme has sort of a creme-gel consistency and is very soothing and hydrating. I have terrible heritable dark under eye circles, and this creme dramatically improved the appearance of them. Even though it is a bit expensive, it is well worth the cost. Plus, a teeny bit goes a REALLY long way. I can't recommend this product highly enough.
This product worked wonders for my recent fine lines. Can't comment on whether it works for dark circles but it made a visible improvement in my fine lines within a month. I used to wake up with visible lines in the mornings and this totally got rid of that!! It is not very hydrating so I use another cream on top of this every other night or so.
Okay I like this and I really don't. It takes away any puffiness I have and dark circles but it's not moisturizing at all. Every time I wake up there's no sign of puffy or dark eyes just MAJOR dryness. Even tried layering a super moisturizing eye cream on top and under it but because genifique so intense it kinda ate right through the other eye cream. Weird. My skin can't afford to use this again...such a shame cause it works...just MAJOR dryness

I have tried tons of undereye creams for my undereye circles. I'm 23 and have been dealing with them for YEARS, they are a bluish tint and make me look tired when I'm not and I havn't found a concealer that covers them without caking. So, I tried this out and it took about a week, but my circles have almost vanished. I still use a little concealer under my eyes, but the cream has also reduced the little lines that the concealer brings out. I use this as well as the face serum, I havn't seen much of a difference with that, but my face isn't too bad overall. I love this stuff and will continue to buy it.
This eye cream is the best I have ever used and I noticed a difference in a few days... This is an amazing product and I recommend it to everyone. My mom and I love it!
