ineffective

I've been using this product for over a month on a dry red spot along my laugh line. I also put it across my nose/cheeks. My skin has not gotten worse since using the product, but it hasn't gotten any better either. The redness is still there. It's completely ineffective. Perhaps this works for some people; I'm not one of them.

First Aid Beauty Anti-Redness Serum - More Redness
-05.18.13
I had great hopes for this after reading some of the positive reviews, unfortunately this made me break out and made the mild redness on my face even worse. Just to be sure it was this that caused the rosacea flare-up I waited a few days and tried again with the same result.

Does what it says, given enough time
-05.09.13
I had terrible acne as a teenager and have been left with some scarring, plus patchy dry red skin from all the harsh treatments I used. I have been using this product for four months and the change is amazing! I used to have bright red patches on my cheeks which are now reduced to a healthy-looking pink glow. I'm no longer mistaken for being sunburned or sick, and my skin looks great!
The only possible improvement I could ask for would be a version in a cream-type product, as this is very light and I do have to use a separate moisturizer.

Only Saw More Breakouts
-04.28.13
My skin is usually pretty calm, I only have very occasional breakouts, but my nose and lower cheek areas can be a bit pink so I decided to use this anti-redness serum.
I put this on my face after washing and moisturizing at night. I did notice a pleasant tightening feeling when I put it on, but after only a week of use I started breaking out! Tried to stick it out for three weeks before deciding enough was enough.

Starting to see results!
-04.25.13
Quick Take: hydrating, exfoliating, moisturizing
I've been using this product for about two weeks and it's noticeable. The red areas seems to worn off a little bit. The process seems slow but it looks like it's working which is a plus! I'll continue to finish the whole bottle and see if all my redness will diminish. Fingers crossed.

Love it
-04.20.13
Quick Take: anti-inflamatory, natural
I've only used it for two days, but my face is so sensitive that I will know in a day if it's something I can't use. I had researched different homeopathic solutions and was thrilled to find one lotion that combined many. Sulfur works well to manage the bumps and redness on my face. This is the only lotion I could find with sulfur that does not contain parabens. I did have a new red bump from rosacea on my face just coming up. This made it tingle only on that bump for hours. It didn't hurt and didn't get red. Once I no longer noticed the tingle, I could see the red bump was going away. yea! So far my routine to rid my face of nearly all redness and bumps is to cleanse with super sensitive baby wash, then sulfur soap. I apply pure jojoba oil at night right after shower. In the morning I apply this serum under my foundation. So far so good!!

a little thick
-04.20.13
Quick Take: good
I like it but a little thick for a serum. I am used to a lighter serum that I use a day cream over, but absorbs into the skin well. I totally recommend their face cream!

Works great!
-04.20.13
Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing, soothing, calming
This was recommended to me to relieve some of the redness from an acne flare-up, and I have to say it works really well. It takes about 15-20 minutes after application to see the full effect, but it really helped calm the redness and irritation. It moisturizes pretty well (I wouldn't use it as my only moisturizer, but it works well in conjunction with my daily products) and it looks great under makeup. It really helps to even out my blotches.

I only used it for 3 days..
-04.15.13
It irritated my skin the first day of usage (x2) then it wasn't bad but doesn't show less redness on my face maybe it needed a bit more time but I find that it smells like shaving cream so I just took it back.
2 stars just because I like the brand.

Its okay?
-04.11.13
I've been using this for a little over a week now. I was wearing it during the day but it makes my skin feel kind of tight and dry. i have been using this at night instead with a retinal and nighttime calming lotion (Yes to Cucumbers, love this stuff go buy it!) Not sure if its my new routine that is making my skin better, or really because of this.
I don't plan to purchase this again unless after i stop use the redness comes back.

Waste of Money
-04.08.13
Quick Take: irritating
This product does not work as it claims. It does not calm or reduce redness AT ALL. In fact, for me, it caused an increase in redness and irritation. If you have sensitive skin or rosacea, it's not for you.

-03.29.13
I put my trust in the product to reduce redness, but it just doesn't do the trick. It feels hydrating and calming but does nothing noticeable for my rosacea.

Great for misc. redness
-03.22.13
Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing, calming
I don't have rosacea or any specific condition for redness, but I am very fair and my skin is easily irritated. And to make matters worse, I'm VERY acne prone. I love this product because it totally calms my skin. It works as a great moisturizer, balances my skin color before applying makeup, and miraculously, doesn't exacerbate my acne. If anything, it probably helps given the sulfur content. Love it, and I am very picky with my skin products.

Great for mild Rosacea
-03.19.13
Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing
I was recently diagnosed with mild rosacea and have tried this product for 2 weeks. What a difference! The redness is slowly going away and my skin feels smooth and silky. I have no irritation. I didn't give it 5 stars because I feel like it took a while to take effect but I'm not patient.

Anti-Redness Serum
-03.14.13
Quick Take: not greasy or heavy on the skin.
A really great product. I have very sensistive skin and after reading the reviews I decided to try it. My skin is very dry and red. I have to say the dryness disappeared and my skin IS less red. Amazing. A prodcut actually does what it said it would do . I am definitely adding this serum to my daily regime.

Reduces redness and inflammation
-03.07.13
Quick Take: moisturizing
I bought this product for my husband, since he has a case of rosacea. He has used the product for about a week, and he is very happy with the result. The redness and swelling on his nose is gone. It is moisturizing, and he highly recommends it!
