Was recommended by a sales lady to help my powder stay on longer and reduce shine on my face. unfortunately, it didn't do anything for me so i returned it. exchanged it for bare minerals mineral veil which seems to work better in reduce the shine on my face.

Quick Take: oil-absorbing
I really don't know what the fuss is about with this product. Likes, it's small and easy to carry with you when travelling and instead of using a colour base powder this offers a neutral effect. Dislikes, it's messy so much so I wonder how much actually sets on my face. It's light and scatters everywhere. Over all a touch up to reduce excess oils in the t-zone can be easily reduced by blots sheet paper. I will not repurchase this product.

As far as I can tell, this product does, um, nothing. Except add a certain pallor to my skin. Really. Didn't. Like. It.

This is a good product and worth the price. I have the larger size and purchased the smaller one as it is more portable. I am dark complected but the white powder does not show so would work on any skin tone. Leaves my skin feeling sily smooth.

Convenient way to try the product- 11.11.09
I don't know why I like this, but I do! I find it does give my face a little bit of a "soft focus" look, which I desperately need with my hodgepodge of fine lines, redness, acne scars and whatever else pops up. It can look a little too matte or chalky pretty easily, though, and I am fair. I applied it with a kabuki, and also with a fluffy/looser-bristled blush brush. I think I need something in the middle--a loose kabuki! (What a tongue twister.) If I continue to love this, I will try the brand's matching kabuki for this product.
One obvious drawback to the travel size is the small container diameter; hard to load the brush, etc. But still, for $15, I can work around it!

Quick Take: sheer coverage
I bought the small size of this powder to try it out. Buy the biggest size you can afford! It is so finely ground and makes your skin look perfect. It is very cooling too. So if you are a hot flash waiting to happen, this is a great way to finish off your face without caking on powder. I am so glad that I made this purchase.

The only finishing powder for me- 10.22.09
Quick Take: sheer, luminous, hydrating
I've tried a LOT, and I mean a LOT of powder. This is the ONLY one that makes my face look more flawless, and not more cakey. The problem I have with MOST powders is that they are either not milled finely enough, or cling to any scrap of oil, crease or crevice they find and stay there until you smear them away. Not so with this powder. It goes on sheer, makes your skin look more luminous and flawless, it reminds me of that soft-focus they used to use on women in old films. This has become a very fast staple in my makeup drawer.
