Quick Take: sheer coverage
Somehow comparable to YSL "Touche Eclat" but superior in its ability to blend and not to sink into the creases of one's skin (also known as wrinkles). Blending/patting with your fingertips is necessary so do not pay attention to overgrown brush. It would be perfect if the cost went down ($49.50) and the amount of that magical stuff went up (only 0.05 oz vs YSL: $40.00 for 0.01oz.).

I really like this product for the ease of the brush, smooth application and good results. I put it on under foundation and it does a very good job of lighting up my face in key areas.

How did I live without it?! This is a great product, kind of pricey, but I'm really glad I got it, I use it every day in my under eye area and on the sides of my nose and it does its magic. I have a 01 shade, which combined with my darker BB cream is a perfect combo. I tried other under eye concealers before, Armani and Chantecaille, but first one was too sheer/yellowish shade and second too cakey and dry, great color though. Guerlain is the best!

Cure for Undereye Circles!! -Cut off the brush

Before getting into how awesome this illuminator is, I want to share a tip. A lot of people complain about the brush....do what I did and cut it off with scissors!! Get rid of that piece of sh*& brush! I have never understood why every single illuminator and highlight pen has a cheap, stiff brush attached to it. But if you cut it off then the product is easier to get to and easier to pick up wtih a concealor brush (or whatever tool you use to apply it).
This is the best highlighter I have found...better even then Dior, Givency, and YSL! It doesn't crease or sink into fine lines. On a good day, I use this alone without concealor or foundation. On those days where I need an IV of coffee, I use this with Bobbi Brown's Corrector and I look like I just slept for 12 hours. I use this under my eyes by smudge it up along the outter edge of my eye up to my brow bone which seems to give me a faux face lift around my eyes.

Quick Take: lightweight, non-drying
Good for illuminating shadows, like the hollows under the eyes. Minus one star though for the texture; wish it was a bit thicker. The thin consistency makes it harder to apply with precision.
Minus another star for the packaging. I find the brush is too stiff so I use a separate concealor brush. I also hate click pens. You never know when to stop clicking because there is a lag between clicking and seeing product through the brush. So you wind up wasting product and this is too expensive to waste!!

Quick Take: lightweight
this product is amazing. as directed, i use it around my eyes through the edge of my nose and down onto my chin -- this completely brightens and opens up my face. the gold flecks make all the difference. you only need to use one twist of the dial so its worth the $$$

returning this product!!! didnt like this product at all........i wanted a sheen kinda glow look after i put conclear and the girl said this would work.... looks so over done and bulky... would never buy or recommed this

This is an excellent product to eliminate dark circles and brighten up the eye area. I definitely see a difference when I use it. (maybe you have to be older to see an improvement LOL) Only the price (considering the limited product amount) kept it from getting five stars.

A Sephora associate suggested I try this product and I'm hooked. It's a little expensive but also amazing. It doesnt settle into the little lines around the eyes. It provides full coverage and brightens the eyes beautifully. I've tried many many concealers and this one is my favorite by far.

Quick Take: lightweight
I think it is important to note - don't expect coverage from this product - it is strictly for illuminating the eyes, which is what it does PERFECTLY. I initially purchased 01, but later switched it to 00 - definitely works better. It also looks great on pictures.

Quick Take: non-drying, fresh-looking
This is it, the illuminator with a tiny amount of light reflectors, but not enough to cause reverse raccoon "pearly circles" around your eyes. I find "illuminating particle" products tricky because they highlight the surface texture of your skin and the last thing I need to illuminate is my pore size. This pen makes me look dewy without looking like a pearlized wreck. Converted!

I loved this product. LOVED it. It had excellent lightweight coverage for problem areas, was silky, and non-drying. Folks, this was my dream concealer.
Unfortunately, I purchased it at the end of March and by June it was empty, even though I only used a few dabs a day. At this price, I won't be buying it again (no matter how much that breaks my heart).

This is a good product, but I will have to stick with YSL's touche eclat in the future. This is not as silky in texture, and seemed to dry out my eye area a little. Not worth the fancy price tag, in my opinion.

Given all the rave reviews...i was excited to use this. Didn't feel like it did much for me. Light coverage...so I still needed a concealer under this. I guess I'll use this for a brow bone highlighter instead. Disappointed.

Quick Take: lightweight, non-drying, dual sided pigments create a great effect
I was first introduced to Guerlain's Precious Light Rejuvenating Illuminator last year when I had a makeover. Shade 00 was used because I have very pale skin. This Illuminator is better than a lot of somewhat similar products because the pigments used in the product are dual-sided, with a difference on each side. One side is the opaque shade which diminishes or hides imperfections, giving skin a smooth even tone and diminishing the appearance of enlarged pores and wrinkles. The other side of the pigment is gold, which reflects light. This illuminator also includes anti-aging ingredients for lasting smoothening.
I was very pleased with the results that I got from totally pink based illuminators that I had been mostly using up until that point. My feelings on this gold based one were initially mixed. Pink based illuminators seem to open up my eyes and give me a refreshed look, as if I've had the 12 hours of restful sleep I really didn't get.
This illuminator makes my skin picture perfect, but without the eye opening effects I get from the solely pink based products. However I discovered that Precious Light Rejuvenating Illuminator is much better when I go out at night. I'm really pleased with it when the light is low, or in candlelight.

Since the dual-sided pigments make this illuminator better and more natural than a lot of the others I've tried, if pink based tones are not the first thing you need, you should be incredibly pleased with this one. And if you're looking for this to cover, and illuminate, this is perfect for you. There are other shades to choose from, besides the very light Shade 00. I highly recommend it.

Quick Take: lightweight, easy to blend
I was in Sephora replenishing my beauty stock when one of the sales ladies asked to do my make up, this was one of the products that she used on me and I love it. My daily routine (I have combination skin tone, with little to no blemishes) is moisturizer, percious light rejuvenating illuminator in 01 (under my eyes, and then a little highlighting above my eye brow, then blend) then powder to set it all. It brightens up my eyes and really just makes a huge difference in how fresh and youthful I look.
