While the coverage is full, it is obvious and unnatural looking. To achieve any kind of acceptable covereage takes quite a bit of effort. WIll never re-purchase.

Don not waste your money!- 01.27.10
This product is perhaps the worst concealer/brightener that I have ever tried. It does not do anything it says it is supposed to do. It goes on chalky & collects & shows lines & wrinkles under the eye, I was very very disappointed!!!

If you are looking for heavy coverage, this is not for you. It is very light; yet very pretty. Does not sink into wrinkles and is moisturizing. I use the lightest one.

We all know none of these products work miracles but this really does lighten up dark circles under eyes and brighten the (((contours))) around my mouth. Also makes a great highliter on eye lids. I feel like I can paint away some of my imperfections makes me feel like I look younger. I dont think it will last very long though but I guess thats good because how much make up do we girls buy and never actually use up. I will buy it again when it runs out. I would also try other shades.

Great illuminator, defective applicator- 12.30.09
I started using the YSL illuminator last year in hopes to brighten my eyes after many sleepless nights with my toddler. I loved it but after reading so many wonderful reviews of Guerlain's Precious Light Illuminator, I decided to give it a try. It truly is superior to other illuminators on the market as it seems to be more moisturizing and offer better coverage. I also have yellow tones vs. pink tones so this illuminator seemed to blend in with my skin without leaving streaks. Unfortunately, the applicator brush was defective and the illuminator would glob out the side of the brush rather than the middle. I ended up returning it.

Amazing but doesn't last long- 12.30.09

This stuff is fantastic...but for the price, it should last longer than 3-4 weeks when I was only using it for under the eye circles. Perhaps a different applicator. But if you can learn to use it very sparingly, this stuff REALLY Brightens the skin and is very lightweight!!
I will never go without this. I have tried other brands, and none of them are as creamy and spreadable as this. Brings a brightness and look of rest to the eyes, just like it says. Great color choices too.'
A makeul artist tried this on me in the store and I had no expectations for the product. When I looked in the mirror I couldn't believe how it brightened the area under my eyes. It is pricey, but I use so little that I am su are it will last a long time. A great purchase.
This pen is fantastic. It is the only underye brightener I have ever tried that actually brighens AND provides coverage to the undereye. It smoothed out the lines under my eye very well, did not crease or look dry, and lasted all day!

I switched from the Y brand to this one a few years ago. A bit more costly but well worth it. This is a new version of the old one and first time I've used it. This is more than a concealer. Just as stated it is a "Rejuvenating Illuminator". My fine lines around the eyes have diminished over time and I don't use eye cream on a regular basis but do use this product religiously every day. My eye area is never dry and that tired look of some sleepless nights completely vanishes upon application. I use it on my laugh lines, around the nose area, under the eyes, on the eye lids as a primer and sometimes over the lip line area. It will last because a little goes a long way. I use it alone sometimes just with the Dior Brush Primer and my skin looks flawless and I am far from perfect. I found the color to be perfect for my complexion. Try it at the store, take a little home and see it in the sun light. It illuminates from under your skin and corrects your fine lines and wrinkles, what more can you ask for. It is well worth the price. Sorry "YSL", this is a must keep for me!

I have been using the well known "Y" brand pen concealer for many years; i switched to this one last year. The liquid texture and coverage is very similar to the "Y" brand; however, I find this one is more moisture. But colot choice is limited; 00 is way too pink, and 01 is too pale (which is what I have). I wish they make more colors.
