Quick Take: good value, classic, floral, long lasting
Bought this for my mom, a Chanel No.5 fan, and she loves it. Chanel is just getting too $$$ for me but D&G seems to be cranking out quality eau de parfums that are more reasonably priced. Long lasting with floral (especially rosy) notes. Great buy for someone who is devoted to the classic scents of Chanel, Guerlain, Givenchy, etc.

I own many different perfumes. This one is my all time favorite. It has a soft, floral scent and what I like best is that it doesn't fade away seconds after spraying it. It definitely has a lingering smell! You won't be disappointed by using this one!

I just got a sample of this so I will have to wear it for at least a day to make up my mind but so far it smells exactly the way I want it to smell...soft, feminine and floral. It's quickly growing on me.

This perfume is absolutely fanstastic. I usually dont like flowery perfumes because i find it kind of obnoxious smelling. Not this perfume though. Its a very fresh and clean floral. When i think of rose perfumes, my mind goes directly to grandmas, but this perfume is mature without being old at all. This is definitely a spring scent, but i also feel like this could be worn in winter because its so inviting and cozy smelling. The lasting power is great also- usually lasting me almost 12 hours. The only reason i gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because of the price. The perfume is amazing, but the price is a hit to the wallet.

Rose The one is one of those perfumes that I would buy over and over again. This is such a femine perfume that I think every woman of every age would enjoy. It's not an heavy rose smell, but you can definitely pick up the floral scent from it. It's a very soft scent that lingers. Love it!

I have been looking for a perfume that matches Benefit's Bathina body-balm scent. I was looking for a gardenia and rose scent, but not musky. This is the perfect combination and smells JUST like the Benefit stuff!!! It is light, but long lasting and is not heavy. I LOVE it.

I've been looking for a sent a long time since my last perfume got discontinued and it was worth the wait! The only problem I have with this is the bottle. I will occasionally have a really strong whiff of the perfume come off the bottle and it was not as full as the bottle shown in the photo when I opened the box, so I think it leaks.

Fruity, not rosy

I am looking for a beautiful perfume that has rose as a main scent, so I was very excited to try Rose The One. Based on how other reviews have said many different things about this perfume, I really recommend trying this one on to see how it reacts to your chemistry. For me, Rose The One is very fruity and not floral at all.
The opening is fresh and citrusy. The grapefruit and mandarin smell so lovely together and are very uplifting. There is something lightly tangy and almost bitter in the top note; it could be from the grapefruit or maybe even litchi. The bitter smell adds texture, but it feels slightly off from the rest of the beautiful citrus top notes. Whatever it is, it’s not prominent and only lasts a few minutes.
The rose begins to appear after those few minutes and adds some lightness to the fruity fragrance. It’s not strong and I can barely smell it. No matter, the rose fades quickly on my skin (after a half hour) and gets completely drowned out from all the fruity notes. I actually don’t smell the rose or any floral in this perfume after the first half hour despite being called Rose The One, which is why I took away one star.
This perfume lasts for many hours. This would be a great fragrance to wear in the spring and summer, but I would also love to wear this in the fall and winter as well. It’s feminine and classy and fresh—a nice everyday wear. I also like how simple and elegant the bottle is. Overall, if I were looking for another fruity perfume for my collection right now, I would buy this. It has a unique and gorgeous opening, and the fruity scent lasts for hours on me. But it's lacking that special something that would make me impulsively break out the cash for another fruity scent. And since I was hoping for roses, I am disappointed that the rose or any floral was completely lost on me. Definitely try it for yourself because it seems like some other reviewers were able to smell roses on their skin.

D&G has done it again. I love this scent! It smells pretty much like the one but rosy. Even though its eau de parfum, i find that i have to spray it a couple more times than usual because its so light but thats ok b/c i carry it w/ me.i dont like strong smells so this is perfect. A must have!

I just purchased this fragrance yesterday and will be returning it :(. I used it this morning and 30 minutes later, I can't smell anything! It's a pretty pricey perfume and it's a shame because the scent is really nice but unfortunately fades waaaayy to quickly for the price.

I absolutely love this perfume. I smelled this in the store and thought " I HAVE to have this!" The smell is comforting and cozy and feminine. It makes me think of cuddles and hugs and is very beautiful. I think it's suitable for both winter (for it's warm and cozy side) and also Spring (for it's floral and feminine side). Unfortunately, i'm not a big fan of the packaging, but that doesn't alter my thoughts of the perfume. Such a gorgeous scent!

My signature scent is Flowerbomb, but I picked this up a few weeks ago for something a little different. It smells very strong of rose. It is a clean smell and I like it a lot. Only down side is that the smell doesn't last long. I'd give it 5 stars if the smell lasted longer.
