Drench your skin -and your senses -in
sun-kissed deliciousness with this decadent body
emulsion. Infused with Leslie Blodgett's
intoxicating blend of creamy sensuality, dreamy florals
and sexy musks, plus plenty of skin-pampering
ingredients, it's just like a vacation in a jar.
Leslie's Tip: "The first thing I do after a
shower is slather myself in body cream. I start at my
feet and work my way up. Don't be afraid to use a
generous amount. Top it off with a few spritzes of the
Bare Skin Eau de Parfum for head-to-toe total indulgence."

Personally it smells alot- 11.10.09
Quick Take: layerable
like Estee Lauder Sensous-which is one of my favorites & has great lasting power. I bought the body cream & have samples of the perfume-but to me it is so similiar to EL I would not be purchasing

Sorry Leslie...this one doesn't deliver...- 11.06.09
Quick Take: scented, different than spray or solid
The scent of the cream is not the same as the spray or the solid. It is not a bad fragrance, just different. As far as being a cream to moisturize skin, it does not live up to Leslie's usual. Would I buy it again? Probably not.

Not for this Philosphy Girl- 11.03.09
Nice texture and feel to this body cream but the fragarance if far too harsh for me. Even after repeated washing the smell still lingers on my skin.

4Leslie Blodgett Perfume Diaries Bare Skin Perfumed Body Cream
When I opened the box that my order came in, I kept searching for the body cream. Yes, I realize 4 oz isn't a lot, but somehow, I just thought it was going to be a bigger jar than what was pictured. I opened it up and took one whiff and all I can say is "Ohmygosh"!!!! I've never bought fragrance without having tried it first, I was very hesitant this time, however, I am so glad I did! I bought the body cream and the matching solid and plan to go back and purchase the perfume at a later time (maybe put it on my wish list for Christmas).
Things of note for those who want details:
1.) Small package, very clean aesthetically speaking. 2.) The cream sinks into your skin the fragrance seeming to envelope you in scent. That alone is worth the price if you are wanting to have big bang for little buck. 3.) My husband liked it. This coming from a man who has rarely an opinion when it comes to girlie things, it's high praise indeed. 4.) The "memories of the beach" that it is supposed to evoke? Not so much. To me it reminds me of warm memories, being with family during the holidays. Not the home fragrance, but the fragrances that women wore when they would meet with family during special occasions, I can't quite put a finger on what fragrance would have been popular 30-35 years ago that would smell similar but if you're about my age maybe you'd know.
I've read other people's reviews of what it does or doesn't smell like and what other fragrances it replicates. I'm not so sure that it does. I think it stands on it's own and makes a nice addition to my fragrance collection.
Thank you Leslie.

Yummy- 10.16.09
Quick Take: scented, moisturizing, layerable
I am so happy I purchased this body cream. I made my choice between the fragrance and the the body cream because the fragrance of the body cream seems more delicate. That's what I like. Nothing over powering. I did try the sample fragrance, it was nice but didn't go well with my chemistry. For me this is perfect!!!
