Goddess
-06.18.13
Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented
I bought this in Goddess to highlight my inner tear duct and my brow bone. It does exactly what I need it to do. I find the color is similar to Benefit's High Beam, but the application is much easier. I use this with my everyday look due to it's ease of use, but I will continue to use High Beam for my nighttime activities as it is more dramatic. However, I found that if I use it as a shadow it creases, even with a primer.

Greatly Disappointed in Parrot Green color
-06.13.13
I purchased this product in April, and I think I will return it today when I visit Sephora. I do not have oily skin and this color does not stay on my skin. When I apply it under my lower lash lines inwards towards my inner corner for a pop of color, it disappears within a few hours even when applied with a brush (the area was primed as well). When I apply the on my lids it does not go on to my lids evenly and smoothly so i try to use a heavier hand to compensate and I just end of hurting my eyes. It could just be the color I have (I purchased this product in Parrot Green). I am Caribbean American, but a lighter skinned black person. I wouldn't recommend this color or product.

Just a poor shadow
-05.17.13
Quick Take: no staying power, creases badly, short term
I purchased this because I wanted just a matte black eyeshadow, and I am very lazy. I wanted something easy to put on and not a lot of work invoved. I have UD Barracuda, but that has a lot of sparkle in it.
So to start, the color is mesmerizing. It's the perfect black. However, it DOES NOT STAY. Even with primer, even trying it with foundation AND primer, nothing works. I don't have oily lids so that's not the problem either. It comes off in ten minutes, no joke. It creases horribly and then it's either all over my face (even when sitting doing nothing) or it just disappears over a short amount of time. Very sad, wanted it to be perfect but I will be returning it. Back to sparkle black I guess.

Beautiful but Needs Primer
-05.01.13
Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented
Couldn't wait to try the copper smokey eye trend that's been on the runways, and the NARS pencil in Skorpios was the perfect color. Shimmery orange toned copper, it looks great on my light-medium summer skin tone. The only problem is that the formula is a bit too creamy, and I had to touch up the creases a few times. I didn't use a primer first, though.

Amazing black pencil color
-04.30.13
Quick Take: blends easily, soft
The best thing is the color: a soft black speckled with a touch of gold. Very glamorous for night wear in a smudged shadow look. BUT....it cannot be a 5 star because you MUST wear a really good eyeshadow primer and then a translucent powder over. Otherwise, it's not going to look pretty or stay put for even an hour :( -it's also on the pricey side...normally, i'd return something that doesn't wear well on it's own but i only kept it for the unique color. For a NARS product, I expect better quality and wearability. They should make it waterproof like the Sephora brand shadow pencils. Those work great and much less expensive. Just saying!

disappointed
-04.30.13
Quick Take: not pigmented enough
I bought this pencil because of the color. I have previously bought Nars eyeshadows and blushes and thought the consistency would be as good but this shadow pencil does not come on well and you have to reapply often as it comes off very quickly. I do not recommend it.l

Love the color, need more stay
-04.29.13
Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented
Nars always has the best colors. I bought this because it reminds me of painting myself with a dandelion when I was little, but the color doesn't stay all day. I use it for more of a liner.

Lots of Love
-04.27.13
Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented, crease resistant
I have nothing but love for the texture and pigment of this liner. I use the Parrot Green on my bottom lash line and Urban Decay's Desperation as an upper tightline. The combination gives me a naturally enhanced look that I love.

I did not like this shadow pencil. It was greasy and didn't provide much color at all. I used NARS's shadow primer and that didn't help a bit. In addition it was not long wearing at all and was gone after a couple of hours. I was quite disappointed with this product.

Smooth and smudgable, but you need a lid primer
-04.17.13
Quick Take: blends easily
This shadow pencil truly is soft, smooth, creamy, and easy to smudge/blend. But it is NOT long-wearing, nor is it crease-resistant! You will absolutely need a lash primer with this (I use NARS—love it). If not, the color will disappear into the crease of your lid and form one of those weird eye shadow lines—in a matter of minutes.

Celebrate Review (Bright Green)
-04.13.13
Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented, crease resistant, high quality, rock n roll
I fell in love with this color and applicability (is that a word?) at a Sephora store in person. I'm very pleased and excited with the bright green "Celebrate" color.
-The application is incredibly smooth, precise and satin like.
-The color is high pigment and shows up immediately
-You get a lot of product
-The color is more versatile than you might expect; With mixing with coral, brown, turquoise, blues and emeralds and other greens.
-It attracts attention straight to your eyes.
-The eye color goes well with the new popular more purple/lilac/lavender toned lip colors, as well as bright pinks/fuchsias.
Highly recommend Celebrate for this Spring and Summer and festival season!

So-so pencil
-04.08.13
Quick Take: blends easily, creases easily, smudgy, smoky, beautiful
I purchased the mini-version of this and i thought Aigle Noir was the mos beautiful color. I shade it on my lid (with primer!) and it creased and smeared everywhere! So I tried a different method, shading the pencil with apply black/grey (gray?) eyeshadow and then applying translucent powder over it and it seemed to do the trick. So I'll be keepng this for certain nights out.

Great pencil!

This eye pencil blows Clinique's out of the water! I bought it on Hollywoodland and am in love! The pencil adds dimension and potency to your other shadows. Besides going on like silk, you can layer powder shadows over it effortlessly. One of my faves!!!

Corcovado Gleaming Gold
-03.20.13
Quick Take: smooth, vibrant & gorgeous
This gold color is a very gorgeous mid-bright gold( depending on your eyelid color) I have no problem with it creasing on my eyelid as their not oily. Pencil is smooth color is not flat. I've not been able to use this on my lower lash line but once I do I will update on said performance. I bought this only because I had a Sephora GC but other than that I will not rebuy. I don't see myself using this whole pencil & I'm not happy that you have to sharpen pencil in all I'm pleased with product :)

i bought calabria (plum) shadow with the intent to use it as an eyeliner; the color is very pretty, and a pencil is easy to use - but it fades away very quickly, need to retouch if you want to see intense color

bummer
-03.14.13
i really wanted to love this. i love NARS, and all of their products are always so highly pigmented. their eyeshadows last me years, seriously. but... this thing just stinks! i only even gave it the 2 stars, because the color is to die for!! so yeah - it doesn't glide on evenly, it rubs off as you're trying to build it up (seriously - running over the same line you just drew will cause it to smudge off), and it is choppy and inconsistent. the color is to die for!! so, i'm pretty bummed out! i am going to take this back today and exchange it for their "silent night" eyeshadow!

Quick Take: not long lasting
I bought this in Aigle Noir and had high hopes. Unfortunately I tried using it as both a liner and a shadow, both with poor results. As a liner it smeared easily and disappeared from my lower lash line within an hour. As a shadow it didn't go on uniformly and left chunks and streaks on my eyelids. It creased and ran on my face within two hours. Trying to remove it was a nightmare. It's probably the worst product I've ever bought from Sephora and I will be returning ASAP,
