in response to rwest81's review, the copper is more shimmery than glittery. It's a pale brown shimmer that is a fine flake as opposed to sparkly chunks.
I got the white pot free as part of a promotion, and instantly fell in love with it. Instead of traditional "glitter", it was more of a shimmery powder, which I adored. It's absolutely gorgeous, and I use it in the inner corner of my eyes all the time. So when I had the opportunity to get a gold or silver pot as well, I picked up the gold after reading some good reviews on it. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the gold. It is traditional "glitter" - piece-y and chunky (though notably smaller than most drug store glitters I've seen, I'll give it that). I dislike "glitter" as I think I generally looks tacky and cheap, and I hate the fallout (even with a primer or gel base) - I wear contacts and glitter wreaks havoc with them. I also feel like it makes me look like I'm trying to be a teenager again. I may find a use for it mixed with something else, or on top of gold shadow or something, but right out of the pot, I can tell I will not be using it very often, if ever. Yes, I know the product name has "glitter" in it, and I know the silver preview picture is "glitter"-y and not "shimmer"-y, but I was hoping the gold would be like the white, seeing as they are from the same product line and that maybe the picture was of an "old" version of the product or something. Oh well. I'm afraid to buy the copper one because while it looks "shimmer"-y in the preview, I am afraid it will end up being glitter pieces instead. If they remade these all to be like the white shimmery one, I would buy any color they made in a heartbeat.
When I do my make-up, I focus more on my eyes. This is just perfect. After I'm done applying my eyeshadow, I would take the shimmer pots and shake it a bit so that when I take it off, it's on the cover. I dip my brush into the cover so that I can get a tiny bit of the shimmer and I just brush it over around the corner and below my brow line. A little goes a long way, it makes my eyes brighter.
My favorite feature are my eyes so this helps to draw attention.

Just like the Victoria's Secret '09 runway look!- 01.12.10
Quick Take: holds all day, best with a cream shadow or gel eyeliner base, a la vs '09 runway look!, flashy!
If you watch the VS '09 show, you'll notice a lot of the girls have gold glitter/shimmer on the inside corners of their eyes. I achieve the same effect by just touching my pinky finger in my gold glitter pot and then touching the inner corners of my eyes. I then diffuse it a little by gently pulling a bit towards the middle of my eyelid and just under the tearduct. The glitter stays on all day without falling off.
I use a primer and a creme eyeshadow, followed by dry powder shadows and then put this glitter last. I have oily lids, too, so that helped set the glitter. If you have dry lids you should use a cream eyeshadow or gel liner as a base for this. I love it, it's so cute! Fine glitter, but not so much that it's just shimmer. It's real glitter for real flash!

I coincidentally also ordered the black shimmer pot and it is truly amazing! I think the color goes on so well, blends nicely, and sparkles beautifully! The staying power is good and I would repurchase this!

I bought the black glitter and hated it. It looked like dust and doesn't sparkle very much when you put it on. maybe you have to use it wet? I don't know but I wasn't impressed at all, it just looked dirty; i returned it. The other colors looked like they had more sparkle so i would try out those first.

Quick Take: blends easily, perfect amount of sparkle
The BLACK glitter shimmer pot is my favorite eyeshadow to wear. You can put it on light for a sheer sparkle or layer it on more for a dramatic look. This eyeshadow looks good on EVERYONE and all of my friends go buy their own once they have tried mine out. This is a wonderful gift to give anyone. The sparkles in this are not large at all. They're the perfect size for an amazing sparkle on your eyes, any time the light hits your face, especially at night.
