I LOVE this primer. While I was checking out, the Sephora cashier asked me if I would like to add it on, and I figured I would give it a shot, and I am so glad I did!
This primer really evens out my skintone. My skin tends to get a little oily as the day progresses, and I was a lilttle afraid that it would be an oily serum that would make my skin shiny and break out. This was not the case.
Previously, I was using Smash Box Photo FInish primer, but I really prefer the light feel of this primer, along with its anti-aging properties and the fact that it keeps my oily skin under control. I have noticed a difference in my skin's texture since I've started using it.

Good Serum- 03.12.10

I have tan African-American skin which is oily on the T-zone. This serum works for me without making me shiny. I love the silkiness. I don't have to layer a bunch of different products anymore since this is a primer and anti-aging moisturizer in one. A huge time-saver!!

In the winter my face always starts out flaky-dry right after the morning shower. As in literally, flaking off dry. I have oily skin. Contradiction you say? Not really. With most other oily-skin moisturizers, 3-4 hours later I have oily skin with flakes. This stuff smoothes out the dryness and flakes right away and keeps it gone. 4-5 hours later I still have oily skin, but it's much less than with the other stuff and the foundation stays put. My favorite part is that a little bit goes a long way. This tiny container lasts for months.

Not for sensitive skin- 03.03.10
Quick Take: fast-absorbing, break out causing!
I really liked the texture and feel, it definitely made my foundation stay on slightly longer but, I had to stop using it because it made me break out. It's definitely "tolerated" by sensitive skin.

I love this primer! It is great for my fine wrinkles, smells great and works well as a primer. Even though it is a mini size, it is lasting me a long time! I would highly recommend this to anyone 40 or older.

Oily but goodie- 02.28.10

I have oily skin & was quite scared this oily feeling 'serum' primer was going to cause a break out. WRONG!!! Smoothed out my skin & gave me a nice, not shiny glow (once power foundation was applied over) & made my face feel SO smooth. It did not minimize my large poors, but I don't think it claims to do so. Quite impressed - would use again!

It works pretty well for me. It doesn't hide pores but it does prep the skin nicely for foundation. I find it much, much better than the smashbox primer which I find looks horrible compared to this. This does give a bit of a 'glow' which smashbox doesn't at all. Very nice texture too and makes the skin soft and supple. Does not even out skintone.

This is the best primer I've ever used. It is lightweight, fast-absorbing, smooth, and great for my sensitive skin. It also gives a moisture to my dry skin and keeps my make-up in its place. I have used the Bare Escentuals Primer and the Smashbox Primer, but by far I love the Cover FX Primer the most. n_n

We lovingly call this liquid gold. No matter your age you should always use this on your skin - It is amazing and I love it so much. It lasts forever and I have been using it for the past year. It makes a HUGE difference on the skin to use prior to foundation as a primer. It really helps even skin tone and the foundation goes on smooth and even - amazing - It also makes your skin feel amazing!!!! Its very silky feeling. I found this product from the best make up artist in the store Callie (Stoneridge Mall, Pleasanton CA)when my daughter first went to her for make up application for a prom - We have been seeing Callie ever since and using this product daily (both myself and my daughter) - A golden find :)

OK, but not my favorite- 01.28.10
I LOVE CoverFX foundation, so thought this would be great. It's okay. This product works well with the foundation and does not make my acne prone skin breakout. This size is a much better value than the full size, and I'm a flight attendant so this travels much better. I don't like it as much as Sephora's brand green smoothing primer. I'll go back to that when I run out of this.

i love that it helps my makeup stay on all day without making my face greasy. i got the small size when it was a sweet steal (lasted about a month) and then went for the full sized product and felt it was worth the price.

Super Primer!- 01.27.10

I have tried other primers and I always end up thinking they really don't do anything....Well, Cover FX really makes a difference in my make-up application. My face looks really smooth. It does not feel heavy, actually makes my skin silky, but not oily. I have a mini and will buy a full size when out. If you've never used a primer or have used another brand in the past....give this one a try...you'll love it

Impulse buy I didn't regret- 01.27.10

I grabbed the Skinprep FXMini Nourishing Foundation Primer & Anti-Aging Serum as I stood in line. I've used primers in the past that didn't do all that much but, for whatever reason, I grabbed this one and, boy, am I happy with it. My makeup looks fresh and flawless, even after an eleven hour work day.
I don't see any "anti-aging" properties but, hey, I didn't buy it for that in the first place. It's a great product.
