The first women's fragrance from Acqua di Parma, Profumo is a sophisticated composition for women who embrace timeless elegance. This soft, aromatic scent is comprised of heady, citrus top notes featuring three types of bergamot. The heart of the essence centers around a burst of spice soothed by base notes of precious woods and amber resins.The packaging is reminiscent of fine jewelry with a hand-applied natural-silk-covered box and a pillow form made of duchess satin. Notes:Bergamot, Orange, Ylang-Ylang, Orris Iris, Jasmine, Grasse Jasmine, Rose, Patchouli, Oakmoss, Grey Amber, Vanilla.

Quick Take: womanly, classic, takes time to settle
Okay, I'm not going to lie and say that it was anything other than the price tag that intrigued me about this perfume. At $220 for 1.7 fl oz I had to know what this smelled like. I decided to order a deluxe sample size (.17 fl oz) from another website, since I did not have the capital to even order a bottle from Sephora. I used one drop on my wrist and pressed them together for my trial run. The initial scent reminded me of a heavy doused old woman, the kind you really don't want to get stuck behind in line. Within ten minutes, it had faded to a subtle spicy scent, reminiscent of a fifties housewife in heels and pearls. Throughout the day it just kept getting better. Overall, I am glad I got to try this perfume (on the cheap) and will enjoy wearing it while my mini size lasts but I do not foresee paying such a high price for the full-size bottle, not out of dislike but a frugal conscience.

Quick Take: classic spicy not too sweet.
This is my very favorite scent. It is timeless and elegant - a classic. It makes me feel special. Hard to find, and a splurge to buy, but definitely worth it. I wear other fragrances, but I always come back to this one.

I adore this perfume! When my husband bought me my first one, I wore it everyday! I'm on my third bottle now, and I still love how it stays on all day! The scent is very soft and light. It's such a romantic perfume, and worth every cent.
