I use the eye primer more than the face primer but both are nice, don't clog my pores, and have a nice texture. I have very dry skin, but didn't find the primers to be drying. I also have a partial occipital fold (Asian eye) and I was concerned this would irritate it because I always have to moisturize my eyes or I can feel the fold and it is distracting (the wonders of being mixed!). Anyway, it doesn't pose a problem at all. A little goes a very long way. I only put the eye primer on the crease of my eye, not all over the eye. The tube for the eye is very small but since you use so little, I think that's ok, otherwise it might go bad before you could finish it.

Quick Take: good value, small

These bottles are small, but a little really does go a long way for the eye primer. I found this to be less true for the face primer, as i had to use 2-3 little dollops just to get the areas on my face that give my makeup trouble as the day goes on (due to oiliness), never mind my entire face.

Truthfully, I haven't noticed anything different with the makeup primer. It may be how i apply my makeup, or perhaps I rub it off accidentally during the day. In any case, I haven't really noticed anything. Again, I find i need to use a lot of this...it doesn't magically spread across my face like i had been hoping.

The eye primer is a different story. Typically, my eye makeup creases about 4-6 hours into wearing makeup. With this product, i was pleased and surprised to find that my eye makeup didn't crease at all for the entire day (8-10 hours). A little goes a long way with this stuff.

I believe when the products run out I'll buy the eye primer but not the make up/foundation primer. Just didn't seem to do anything noticeable for me.

Best Primer - 02.22.10

Quick Take: good value, everyone who uses make should use these primers

I have tried several primers in the past; Smashbox, Make Up Forever, etc, but this is the best yet. It works great with Bare Escentuals makeup or any other foundation you have. I especially like that it does not have parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances or dyes and phthalates. I would recommend this for everyone even if you do not use BE mineral makeup.

Quick Take: convenient

This is a great product. I bought it for travel, so I don't need to bring the larger sizes. I use it when I have the extra time and I need my makeup to last all day and into the night. It is amazing on eye makeup. Really makes a difference. Don't know how long the smaller sizes will last, but I will see.

I've been using both these products for years. The face primer lasts a lot longer than the eyelid primer so I've got a supply of the face (mainly from kits) but constantly having to buy the eyelid. I grabed the single eyelid primer in the store one day and the salesperson told me that this kit has a larger eyelid primer (but a smaller face primer) for only $2 more than the single eyelid primer. I didn't have to think twice about it. Plus these bottles are so much more smaller so they travel better. I don't like the packaging of the single eyelid primer because there is no way to know when it's about to run out, it's just gone one day.

What a difference!! - 02.10.10

Quick Take: good value, really does what it promises.

This makes my makeup go on smoothly and makes my skin look almost flawless. I am 48 and any help is greatly appreciated. Bare Escentuals does it again! I swear by these products!

A Great Travel Size - 02.02.10

Quick Take: good value

I use the primer and eyelid primer everyday and love the results. My makeup lasts all day. I really like the small sizes to use for travel -- less to carry, but I can still get my normal results. I can look good, even on vacation.
