While this lotion is NOT greasy- it actually dried my skin to flakiness in places and still had a shiny nose and forehead by the afternoon.

I bought this for reducing pores, not for mattifying oily skin.
I originally wanted the $12. product which I've used before and liked, but it wasn't available. This product does not show results right away. My face was kind of red after putting it on, but it did look good later. I would not buy it again, though.

no noticeable difference

I have been using this daily for about 3 weeks, and my pores look just like they did when I started. There is not even a difference right after I apply it--nothing. There is nothing remarkable about this lotion in general. Very disappointing because I like Dr. Brandt products otherwise. I won't buy this again.

I've been using this for a while and it's done nothing to tame my oily skin during the day. It didn't smooth my skin or "mattify" my oil. It's just... stuff...

Good product with Misleading Bonus Offer

I got tempted to spend my money on this product just for the good reviews and also because Oh look! there is a "Beauty Bonus" offer! The Product so far is working really good and I am very happy with it. Since the first application improved the texture of my skin s and give a really nice "finish" looking even before applying my base or powder, and feels like really extend the "length" of the makeup. The thing is, I tried to get the "Beauty Bonus" but the promo code was not accepted indicating that the offer is expired (hello... the message still there). I could buy the same product at Dr. Brandt.com and receive a travel size product for any full size purchase. I am a loyal VIB beauty Insider, so this bonus code didn't work then I submitted another bonus offer and guess what? customer service pointed this out when I wrote them to remark that the offer that still in red caps in the product information tab is non sense. Yes I got another bonus offer because THIS ONE didn't work but my point is: I am very disappointed of Sephora placing misleading information to sale products. Remember that your clients have the opportunity to check other options online and get better value.

Best Mattifying Lotion So Far

I've tried several mattifying lotions, this is the best one I've used so far. Most mattifying lotions I've tried use a silicone-like substance to reduce shine which left my face feeling greasier than it already is. Dr. Brandt's product doesn't feel greasy at all and has anti-aging properties (which is always a bonus). I only gave it 4 stars as it doesn't mattify my super oily skin all day, but it definitely works longer than anything else I've tried.

This was recommended by Sephora salesman. Best thing I have ever purchased. Lightweight, keeps my makeup on, does not break me out., and has made my skin smoother and more even toned with no flaky skin after effect!

I have had extremely oily skin since I hit puberty many years ago. I have always been in search of a product that would be the solution to my problem of my super shiny complexion. THIS IS MY HERO PRODUCT!!! This product is lightweight, absorbs quickly, smells amazing, and keeps me shine free (Unless I end up sweating...even then it still keeps my face looking so much less shiny than it used to.) On top of the shine factor, my skin has never looked more amazing. My pores have greatly reduced in size, skin texture has improved by becoming more soft and even. I have nothing but praises for this product! Totally worth the cost!

Quick Take: light, no spf, mattifying
At first I was kinda on my toes about trying this since it is pretty expensive and if I fell in love I would be spending this much on moisturizer with no spf but I gave it a go... And as I had predicted BOOM I am in LOVE! I have oily skin and suffered from horrible acne and this really helps my skin stay oil free and no break outs!! yay!

Quick Take: hydrating, mattifying
I got a sample of this with part of my 500 pt perk and I hadn't really given it a chance until recently because it felt very heavy on my skin and didn't absorb quickly in my opinion. But, after giving it another try, (the first time I took it off because it made my skin feel awful) I let it fully absorb/dry and my face felt great! I followed it up with the Pore Refiner and my foundation looked great by the end of the day - it's usually separating/creasing because of my oily skin. I'm really liking this combination! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars rather than 5 is simply because I don't like how heavy/greasy it feels when you first apply it.

Wrinkles No More

Quick Take: anti-wrinkle
The unfortunate thing about this product is its brand title; "pores no more" has a lot of people expecting pore size on your nose to decrease - as I was, until I read the description.
It does not make my pores on my nose smaller.
That is another product by "pores no more" that I haven't tried yet.
BUT - it has decreased my eye wrinkles to nothing (when I also couple it with Capture Totale Dior creme riche nuit - that I use day and night -, topped-off with a dash of Clinique Repair Wear after my powdering, and a good mask every couple of days - mine being REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask).
Alone - none of those products work as well on me.
And the cream et al regiment don't work with any other anti-wrinkle product I've tried; "pores no more" was the final element (finally) that did the last whisking away of those pesky 37 year old eye and forehead wrinkles.
Mattifying wise I have no clue; didn't see a difference.
So far my 1.7 oz bottle has lasted since FEB 24 - a little over 3 months - and I still have about 1/4 of the bottle left.. I use it AM & PM, and sometimes in the middle of the day, around my eyes, mouth, and forehead - every single day. You definitely get your money's worth.(!)
Amazing product when used in junction with other creams.

I also received this as part of a 500 point perk set and have to say this lotion has impressed! It's definitely mattifying and while I can't tell if the anti-aging part is working I do feel a slight tightening of my skin when I put it on. I knocked down one star because although it says the formula is noncomedogenic I noticed small bumps where I might have put on too much lotion. The formula has a slightly creamy texture and doesn't spread very easily. I have oily skin so it might take some trial and error to figure out how much you should use for your skin type.
