Truly what I needed!

Quick Take: intensive, for specific needs
I don't do online reviews but I was so pleasantly surprised by this lovely product that I had to come sing its praises. I have very dry skin that cannot RETAIN moisture - it has been really through a lot and I don't have an intact lipid layer to hold moisture in, which is why I think this specific product worked for my issues. It claims to help rebuild this layer, and without it I can't seem to keep whatever temporary moisture I find through drinking water or using great creams.
It felt very nice the first few days of using it, but within a week I felt as though I had new skin on my face and have literally stopped using foundation!! It has changed the texture and look of my skin, and I am clearly producing more collagen, which is a claimed affect of the product.
It feels a little greasy but soaks in quickly for me, and it has a jelly-like texture that can take some getting used to at first, but I now really like for its spreadability.
My main judgement on this product is that it is right for me because I need help rebuilding that lipid layer that holds moisture into my skin - it feels like it is a cream designed for that very specific need...ie mature skin or skin that has been through lots of environmental stress. I have a feeling that if you JUST need moisture and don't have these more specific needs like I do, this cream may not be the one for you. Though I can't know for sure, I really feed like it is for over-stressed skin, like mine...and it WORKS for that.

Nice but not a "miracle"

First, let me say once again that Sephora is to be praised and congratulated for its sampling policy. It has helped me discover some wonderful products I'd never have tried otherwise and also to avoid costly and frustrating mistakes. I got generous samples of this moisturizer and as I like most of the products I have from Philosophy, I was prepared to like this moisturizer very much. And I do like it. But it is no "miracle". I found it to be a decent, pleasant and effective moisturizer but nothing more than that. Now, I've been around long enough to know that "miracles" in skin care are few and far between but for the price of this moisturizer, I felt it didn't deliver anything more than products costing considerably less, such as Sephora's own wonderful skin care products! What I really DO think is great is that the smaller sized jar is a full 2 ounces rather than the 1 to 1.5 ounces that is usual and also that there is an "economy sized" 4 oz. jar available at considerable savings for people who love this product. I think this shows a bit of respect for the consumer (in spite of the high price).

LOVE THIS STUFF!

Quick Take: intensive
I was gifted some Philosophy products and now CANNOT get enough of them. I am 42 and since I've been using Miracle and Hope products I'm typically told I look in my early 30's. What an ego boost!! I see a huge difference in my crow's feet and wrinkles. Only downside is that Miracle is thicker and can feel greasy. It's not as light as Hope in a Jar.

Works where it is needed on combination skin. Intense hydration on stubborn dry areas. Light and smooth everywhere else. Perfect for a cool drink of water on a slowly aging face.

This moisturizer made my skin look horrible. My whole face peeled off and was really flaky. It completely dried me out. Now my face burns every time I try to wash my face. Even water makes my face burn when I'm in the shower. My skin is very irritated and red. I love philosophy... But sadly this product was a miss

I use this every night and love how it feels and love the results even more. Along with Help Me!, I can tell a huge difference in my skin. It is a heavy night cream but it makes my skin feel so hydrated and smooth.

The BEST product EVER!!

I have tried every kind of product there is to try out there. This is the answer to all your worries!! No joke! :) I had fine lines on my forehead and was getting Botox every few months and spending extra money those months. This has now taken the place of Botox! Wow I can't even explain how much I love this miracle. My skin is even, soft, and the best it's ever looked!!! I also use the miracle spot corrector, and pads. Their all very good as well and would def recommend them to anyone that's contemplating fillers, Botox or anything else. You will change your mind :)

Luscious moisturizer!

Quick Take: lightweight, good for sensitive skin
I have combination skin that is super sensitive and acne prone. I typically use the Hope in a Jar, but recently started using the Miracle Worker moisturizer. I love it! I love how luscious and silky it feels when I put it on. I typically use this moisturizer at night, and Hope In a Jar during the day. It hasn't broken out my sensitive skin, and I can see a difference in the smoothness of my face. Works great when used at night with the retinal pads. Will definitely repurchase!

this didn't work out for me - either it's too strong or i'm allergic to something in it because my skin was destroyed after using it a few times. i bought a (much cheaper) drug store vitamin c cream which is working well.
