Quick Take: lengthening, defining
It's hard for me to find a mascara that works well with my lashes. In order for this one not to be a clumpy mess, I have to scrape off most of the product from the brush before applying. The results afterward are nice, but the scraping is not only more time consuming (especially when I'm going to work) but I feel like I'm wasting product which is the last thing I want to do, considering the price.

Quick Take: lengthening
Pros: This is a fantastic mascara if you're looking for a lot of length. I have stick straight, short lashes, and this is one of the only mascaras that lengthens AND curls for me.
Cons: Not at all volumizing on its own. I like to use a volumizing mascara before I put this one on to remedy that.
By itself, its definitely not BAD, but it can make your lashes look a little stringy/spidery.

I love this Clinique mascara; it makes me want to get rid of all of my other brands! I love the brush- it's more like a little comb, very unique and easy to use. I'm a redhead, so it's hard for me to find mascaras that don't make me look like a hooker (black lashes and red hair? no thanks!) The brown color is great. Darkes my lashes but not overly so and looks natural.

Here's what my previous review said:
I LOVE this mascara. It is VERY lengtheing. But I do get the racoon eyes after a few hours of wearing it. I hate to have to rub under my eyes and on my eyelids to get the black smears off because it makes my eye wrinkles more noticable - and who wants that?!? I wish it stayed put because this stuff works on the lashes! I'm going to take a picture and post it soon.
I added a picture this time. The top is a "before" pic with a drugstore mascara on (no eyeliner), and the bottom pic is the "after" pic with Clinique Lengths Mascara (with eyeliner). I've had 2 people ask me if I wear false eyelashes! Didn't realize I had crossed-eyes until taking close-ups of myself. Nice.

I bought this for my daughter (she had seen someone use it) and I will be buying it for myself ASAP! Her lashes looked a mile long, no clumps with great definition. It's the first time EVER I have seen results like that from a mascara without aid of false lashes.

Its amazing and definitely 'high lengthening' but I prefer Benefit's "they're real mascara'. Although slightly more clumpy, it makes your eyelashes go 'gadunk' and most ppl who wear mascara have shorter eyelashes. Try it out!

I love this mascara. I've used Clinique mascaras forever (they're good with my sensitive eyes), and I think this one is my favorite. The brown is very dark without being harsh, and the formula and brush allow for an application threat lengthens lashes without being clumpy or obvious.
The mascara alone is perfect for daytime wear and won't leave you looking Kardashian-esque at the office. For evening, I like to apply it over a mascara base like Lancôme Cils Booster or DiorShow Maximizer; because this mascara isn't too heavy itself, it can easily go over a base without ending up clumpy.

Quick Take: lengthening
A friend had this and I tried it, and I loved how it made my sparse eyelashes look so much longer and more lush, so I bought my own! It's wonderful for casual days (I got it in brown) and I also use it as a base under BeneFit's Yes, They're Real, for those days when I'm looking for more oomph. Comes off easily with remover, doesn't flake or smudge during the day. Awesome.

I think I've tried every mascara out there. I've used this one off and on for years and love it but, I'm always looking for the latest and greatest. Never found it. I've finally decided this is the BEST on the market. The secret is the brush. Takes a little getting used to but, it's so amazing once you do! Look no further, I've done the legwork and spent the money. This affordable mascara tops the competition that are two and three times more expensive.
