Quick Take: exfoliating, milky, refreshing
Now on my 3rd large bottle after a deluxe sample at Sephora turned me on to it. Perfect for 20s skin - anti-aging, but anti-acne also!! Haven't found another one that does both, but I haven't been looking because I love this cleanser. I use it with my Clarisonic because of its not-too-foamyness and it is amazing!

I'm forever hunting for 'better' products but this is my favorite face wash at the moment -- just repurchased my third one. It doesn't have the best texture or the best smell of any face wash I've ever used BUT it is delivering results -- my combination acne prone skin is significantly improved without being overly dry since I've been using this cleanser.
I also recently purchased a clarisonic brush that I am using it in conjunction with this cleanser and yowzah!! I can't remember the last time my skin looked this good :) My skin is so much improved that I changed from using a heavier tinted moisturizer that I loved and used for years for coverage to a lighter BB cream for coverage - I am loving it!
As a relevant aside, I'm using this cleanser w the clarisonic because it is less harsh many other acne washes - including the clarisonic acne wash - with 0.5% salicylic acid (as opposed to 2%). Also the salicylic acid is encapsulted which supposedly gives it a time release effect -- don't know if the encapsulated bit really contributes anything like it does for orally ingested medications, but hey, I like the idea of it!
Minus 1 star because the smell, while not bad per say, is also not appealing -- a little medicinal. If I could get this cleanser is a yummy smelling version i'd be in heaven! Alas, I know Murad is a fragrance free line. sigh.

Quick Take: exfoliating
Like most of you, my skin can be feline finicky when it comes to skin care products and so it is with this one. A lil dab will do ya. That's a good thing. My skin seems dryer though. That's not such a good thing. My new pimples aren't quite as large as usual. That's a good thing. But, there are more smaller pimples. That's not such a good thing. I will finish out the tube and the above still holds true, I won't repurchase and return to my $77/ tube cleanser. It was pricey, but my skin was fabulous!

Quick Take: milky, gentle
Really like this facewash - it's a gentle, good anti-acne cleanser. Didn't really notice the skin brightener effect. Doesn't really foam (which I appreciated...). I use this with my clarisonic for a thorough cleaning.

i was pleasantly surprised by this item. i was desperate to find something to curb my breakouts and i think i found it. it doesnt completely stop my breakouts, but u cant expect that. i think you also need to give it time to work. the one thing i do feel it does is , it speeds up the healing and makes my breakouts much better

I'm 30 and recently my skin has been breaking out. Stopped by Sephora and a Murad rep happened to be in the store. She recommended this product and literally within a week my skin is dramatically better. One of my coworkers actually said my skin looks so great and I never get compliments on my skin. Also the Murad rep said this will last about 6 months, a little goes a long way. So glad I tried this!!

This is a great product. Not only does it only take a TINY amount, making it last a very long time, but it is gentle on the face. I have crazy skin! It used to be oily, & now it tends to get dry because of the side effects of meds I take. But still I get acne. I don't need harsh cleansers! This cleans without being too harsh, and it is anti-aging! After it, I use a moisturizer or retinol + moisturizer. Great buy, too!

I am so happy with this product. I've been using it for about a month now, and I am seeing major improvement in my acne/blemishes!! This is such a god-send because I've been struggling to find a cleanser (and overall skincare system) that relieves my acne problems. I tend to get pimples that are under the skin and/or that take a LONG time to go away, often leaving scars. This cleanser has really been a solution for my acne, and I love that it leaves my skin feeling sooo SOFT. I used this cleanser for about 3 or 4 weeks before purchasing the Clarisonic Mia. Once I started using the Clarisonic with this cleanser, the result was even more amazing. I definitely recommend it.

Quick Take: light foaming, smooth, refreshing, moisturizing
I've used a lot of cleansers to treat both acne and the redness and irritation that comes with that and it's been difficult to find anything that doesn't completely wring out the moisture from your skin. This lightweight, light-foaming cleanser makes my skin feel clean, refreshed, and cool after it's washed off without making my skin feel dry, no moisturizer needed afterwards! Two times a day and the acne is under control.

Perfect Cleanser for Acne Prone Skin!

So I was in the market for a new cleanser.. I think I've tried about 10 different cleansers before I found this little miracle. I love that it targets Acne and Wrinkles..A little FYI about my skin... I always have 1-2 pimples on my skin. And being that I'm now in my late 20's, I def want to consider wrinkle fighting treatments. So I bought this cleanser and absolutely fell in love with it. I love that it feels creamy while I'm washing my face and my skin feels so soft after. It's the perfect balance. I feel like it has helped lower the oiliness on my skin and at the same time it adds the perfect amount of moisture to my skin. Twice a week I use it with my Clarisonic brush to get a deep cleanse. Thank you Dr. Murad for this perfectly balanced cleanser!

I started to get pretty extreme acne in my mid20s and it was terrible! This stuff actually seems like it is working!! I've only been using it for a couple of weeks but I am already see incredible results! fyi: my acne is fairly concentrated to my jawline but pops up EVERYWHERE!

I tried this product for four weeks and kept hoping my skin would get better, but it only kept getting worse! I thought originally maybe my skin had to get worse before it got better, like the cleanser was just pushing out all the dirt and causing more breakouts. But after 4 weeks and not even a slight improvement, I had to return it. It actually made my skin feel super oily. I'm just glad Sephora has such an awesome return policy so I'm able to keep trying!

I have hormonal acne (acne on the jawline and neck) and I did not have a problem with acne until I turned 25. I have tried countless products and then this was recommended to me. It doesn't clear up my skin perfectly (and let's be real, no product is going to make your skin perfect UNLESS you go to the dermatologist) but it has changed my skin significantly. I do get a flare up here and there but I do not get the cluster of cystic acne anymore. I do recommend this is if you are struggling with adult acne as well as to prevent wrinkles.
