Super cute, comfortable & holds hair all day. Could be a little stronger. When they went on sale, I bought a few as I've had a couple break on me already. Well worth the sale price!

I have really long hair and like to clip half up on top. Can't put all my hair up but I have large clips for that type of job. This is a really pretty clip with the right amount of bling!

Clamp is strong, teeth are weak!

This is all you need to know about the super clamp: the clamp is strong, the teeth are weak. I bought this late January; mid March, all the teeth (the long skinny plastic prongs helping to hold your hair) have broken off. It grips tight and is comfortable to rest your head on (ex. laying your head back in the car), but the back teeth can't handle either the thickness of my hair, or the pressure of laying on it (not sure which). If you decide to get it anyway, you HAVE to be careful since the underside is fragile.

Quick Take: very beautiful, holds fine hair very well
I wasn't sure just what to expect . It looks so much prettier and functional in person, than the photos. I have very long, fine platinum blonde, hair and have been using the "claw" type instrument for so long now, I am bored with it. I wanted something different. This one clips in a little bit differently, but holds very well and looks just beautiful. I love the rhinestones. I am trying to think of other ways to use it, other than my usual, twist up to the top of my head, like a french twist, then have the waterfall of hair going all over. I'm working with it and really am glad I bought it. It looks very well made to me and the tortoise color looks really pretty with my hair color. Wish it came in other colors. I would buy them.

Strong but cheap looking

Practically speaking, this is AMAZING! I have hair that falls to 2 inches below my bra strap, and is super think and I have a lot of it, (blessed, I know). But sadly I am loosing my hair as a result of medical problems. This holds my hair in place, but doesn't rip it out or slide down. It is wonderful. It is just a bit cheaply ornamented. The rhinestones are half haphazardly placed with gaps and crooks. It is a casual hair piece but I use it daily. I works so well!

I would totally recommend this one to anyone.
my hair is super fine and everything always slips down during the day.
This clamps holds strong all day; I love it.
However, I do have a lot of hair... I'm not sure if someone with not so much hair would have the same experience.

Some of the crystals were gone upon arrival and some of the clip teeth were gone making it a bit hard to enjoy from the stats of seeing halls... Would never want to know if we were stinging

I have long heavy hair and this clip has not let me down. It has become my "go to" clip. There is a slightly noticeable weight difference on the hinge side of the clip but I haven't noticed any slipping or uneven hold.

I have very fine straight hair and it seems to me that hair clips slide out of my hair almost immediately. The Super Clamp stays put. I only wish that smaller versions of the Clip were available..

After reading the reviews for this clip, I was very excited. A clip that holds fine hair in place, woo hoo!! Well, that was not the case. I put the clamp in to only gather some hair, as the day went on, I could feel it slipping down. Finally, I had to create a bun so that the clip would work which it did. But, that is not what I had wanted it for, so I was disappointed.

Quick Take: a winner for thick hair
I have think hair and this clip is perfect! It keeps my hair in place and No-Slipping. The best think is the low profile so it doesn't hit the back of the seat while driving. What more could you ask for in a clip? I bought 5 of these and keep them in the car, gym bag, purse, and at the office.

Worked on My Thin Hair

Quick Take: strong
I have very fine, thin hair that is naturally pin straight. Because my hair lacks texture, and it's not thick at all, it's hard for hair clips to really hold my hair in place well. However, this clip does a very good job. It does everything that it promises.
I have only had 2 concerns with this clip thus far and I've been using it for a couple of weeks now. Firstly, the studs on the top of the clip can get caught on clothes or hair. It has only caught on my hair once but it did manage to snag a thread on something I was wearing while I was at work and trying to clip it in.
My last concern is purely aesthetic so take it with a grain of salt. I didn't think this clip had the cutest design I'd ever seen, but since it promised to work with my finicky hair, I bought it anyways. Since it works, it matters less that I don't find the design particularly appealing. However, my fears were validated when my boyfriend laughed and commented that I looked like I had a belt buckle on my head.
Bottom line: This clip works. My hair is hard to hold in place and the clamp is strong enough to not slip throughout the day. But, sometimes, I do feel like I have a belt buckle on my head. Just decide which you prioritize; form or function?

Love these clamps. Hold a lot of hair, comfortable. Downside..they can break easily. I'm very careful with mine but 2 have broken already :(

Quick Take: serve the purpose great!!
I bought this Super Clamp 3 weeks ago and have never been pleased more with any other one I owned. This one is holding my sick hair up very steady and I don't to readjust it during the day several times, just make sure you grab the whole pony tail before you secure it with Clamp. I also use it as a comb to fix my hair when I don't have a special comb handy! Love it!! would definitely recommend it to have!

Strong and effective

Great hair clip. I wear my hair up pretty much every day and this clamp is super strong and has enough capacity to hold my (relatively) coarse, long, wavy hair in place without slipping. I also like that it's contoured more to the shape of my head than traditional clips so I can lean my head back against the car seat or a tall chair comfortably.
