My hair is fine but wavy. I also live in the southern US (coastal) so it's extremely humid. Paired with a good straightening serum, this works really well on my hair. Cheaper products catch on my hair strands but this one is smooth as silk.

Quick Take: fast, easy, cute, works
I am very happy with my flat iron. I am still learning how to make curls and waves with it but it straightens wonderfully. Heats up fast and does not burn my thick but not course hair.

Better than T3!

I have previously used a Chi as well as a T3. Both are great straighteners but they are also pricy. I decided to give the Sephora brand a try and I was not disappointed! It heats quickly and straightens my very thick hair in one pass. My hair is shiny and looks great. I have already recommended this product to my mom & sister. Buy this...you won't regret it!

Quick Take: okay
I bought this flat iron based on the price and the good reviews it got on sephora.com. I was hoping for the best and not really impressed when it showed up. I used it once and ultimately decided to return it. I don't think I'll mind spending a little bit more money to get a better product. I have coarse hair and need a little more action out of a flat iron.

Quick Take: affordable
I bought this because it was an affordable flat iron. It works well, but obviously not as well at the ones you would spend $200 for, you definitely have to go over it a few times. I don't straighten my hair very often, so it's perfect for what I need.

I never right reviews...but had to on this one. There's a reason it's cheaper than the other straighteners at Sephora. You can't tell it's ceramic. Burned my hair and left zero shine. Returned it the next day.

Quick Take: great quality, affordable
and I love it! It heated up fast, straightened my hair very quickly, and came out super smooth and shiny. The variety of heat settings are nice (I use a lower setting for my bangs, then a higher setting for the rest of my hair). It cooled down after use quickly as well, which was nice. Great quality for the price. I definitely recommend this product.

I love this flat iron. My favorite feature is the heat dial. I can use it hot on my hair, but can turn it down and use it on my daughters baby fine hair for special occasions without burning it.

I'm really enjoying this flat iron. Gets my hair nice and straight without having to turn the temp way up. Leaves my hair feeling softer. My hair has gotten stuck a couple of times between the floating plates, so make sure not to have any stray hairs sticking out when you run it through. Overall I would highly reccommend this. Great flat iron for the price.

I am 5 months pregnant and, due to extreme morning sickness and fatigue since the beginning of the pregnancy, it has been difficult for me to keep up my usual beauty routine. I decided to purchase the Sephora flat iron in an effort to make doing my hair an easier, and quicker process. I have tried other flat irons in the past but found that they did not perform well enough to straighten my frizzy, wavy hair to satisfaction.
The Sephora iron, however, straightens my hair quickly and with ease! It is also a very cute pink color, which I love : -). I am so pleased with this purchase as I am just unable to stand for a long period of time with my hair dryer and round brush blowing out my hair these days!
I highly recommend this product to anyone in search of a quality iron at an affordable price.

I have gray/white, colored hair that is naturally curly and mostly course. This flat iron straightens and smooths my hair so it hangs straight and doesn't look like I have a bad perm. It seems to pass through pretty easily and it only takes me a few minutes to do my longer-than-shoulder-length hair. While I have never used any of the more expensive ones, I think this was a great buy for the money.

I'm sure this did work really well in regards to electricity, only problem was the plates didn't touch and there was a gap left. Had to return it as it didn't actually straighten my hair since it didn't touch it.

Love this flat iron! Heats up in a split second and I also love that you can adjust the temperature. Makes my hair smooth and shiny and doesn't leave it looking frizzy or over processed. Works so much better than the cheapos I have purchased at discount and drug stores.

I have long grey hair and this is JUST what I need for smoothing and adding a little style. I am sure there are better models out there which is why I took off a star.

This is my first flat iron. I'm 33 years old, caucasian, with naturally wavy/curly hair. And I've been (obvsiously) avoiding the flat iron band wagon...until now. Honestly, I bought this because of the price. But I love it. It heats quickly and works amazingly. I'm hooked.

So I would first like to say I adore this flat iron I am a natural(Jamaican woman who does not have any chemical straightener in my hair) and my hair texture is 4b. This flat iron helped me to achieve a frizz free straight look after I blow dried it and used a protectant. :) I only needed to do one pass to get it straight and then I curled the ends. Great if you also want to do ringlets which I did for new years. Definite buy. Doesn't dry or fry your hair!
